[Q] kies firmware upgrade error

what is the problem with kies update the following screen appears...please help

yes rooted but stock rom flased from doky firmware

root is no problem,the problem is the flashed firmware from doky,u must have exactly the right mix of firmwarefiles for ur phone,like pda-phone-bla,bla.....

haha,ok kies shows the last one which is available for u,but when u look in other threads or in other sites u will see there many newer ones.

when u flashed a firmware with odin than u never can flash another one with kies until u have exactly the one u haved before u haved flash with odin,you know what i mean?sorry for bad english.

understood the stock which is in its pure form...but how to get it,,,,

thats the problem in the most . you have to look for a original fware with right csc,pda etc.

Search for stock firmware of your country and then flash though Odin to get stock
Backup your apps through titanium backup so that you won't lose it and backup contacts

u must have the firmware for the productcode of ur phone and the odin flashable ones are not match with it.

to udpate my s4 firm ware for app2sd and other stuff but
when i connect my phone to pc whit kies says CSC in THR that i read is iran!

can i sue this ?
and can i change my csc to get the firmware update?

I guess the easy way will be get the firmware from the link and flash it using Odin 3.07 it wont affect the warranty etc

And yes u can flash latest country firmware will work just make sure u its for I9500

Yes u can flash other country firmware and still use ur sim card without issue
And after flashing the firmware u can root the best method is CF-AUTO ROOT
And just to be safe take a backup of EFS folder

No thats the only option we get u ll have to use that only it does gve a good speed max it will take a 1.30 hour for download

No you won't be able to unroot for that also u need to put stock firmware and again reset the device from ur phone that will be complete stock without issue

This is the UK. yes with ODIN if you want the other you know KIES and OTA. No need root.
After should see the tutorial to flash with odin ... I just share them as you ask me the latest official version for g900f

How does Samsung firmware naming schemes go? I am finding it very difficult to find out which firmware is the latest one just by looking at their code. Mine is a 900I and the android build has last few letters/numbers as ANE3. However baseband is only ANE2. The kernel was also built in May 17th, so am i on the latest firmware?

Google is best search engine. If you type in in Google search " Download Odin 3.12.10" you will get results in mater on seconds.
I don't think there is odin 3.12.10, last one official is 3.12.7 and is here : https://thedroidguru.com/download-latest-odin-odin3-all-versions-full-collection/

Just following up on this request. I purchased international unlocked both sim and bootloader.
Right now my ATT sim works in my SM-950F/DS. But I think its not getting 4GLTE.
I'm hoping for a CSC flash for this international version, but if a stock ATT flash will work as well, then I'll do that.
Yes hoping to keep dual-sim capability with GoogleFI.

If you get other carrier files when flashing a different carrier version...you can follow the switching carrier guide in the main guide section to ensure ATT code...

I have the N950N (korean) model. I want to use the carrier firmware on my phone but I'm worried doing so will irreversibly lock my bootloader.

It could brick your phone that model has a different cpu than the AT&T model

I bricked my S7 Edge, might need some help please

Hi guys,
So yesterday i was trying to install the One UI rom to my S7 Edge, but i messed up in the process. I think the problem started when i installed the latest version of TWRP (twrp-3.3.0-0 i think), and then i reinstalled a previous version of TWRP over this one (twrp-3.2.3-0).
Anyway, after doing this my phone went into full bootloop with the logo "SAMSUNG S7 EDGE ...." on the screen. No big deal i thought, i'll just flash a stock rom with odin, but everytime that i try, i keep getting the same error "sboot.bin -> FAIL!".
I already tried :
- Using differents versions of odin, especially the latest (3.13.1)
- Downloading differents roms (marshmallow, nougat, lollipop)
- Using a different usb port
- Restarting my pc multiple times
This is the SM-G935F btw.

Just flash the latest firmware via odin. Tell me you model number and I'll send you the link to what firmware you have to flash. Also tell me what firmware are you currently flashing which is giving error

Yup that is why you are getting the sboot.bin error. It means the bootloader on your phone is newer than the one you are trying to flash. That's why it fails. On you phone screen you would have a error binary 4 device 5. Something like this.

Yup that's right, that was the problem. I finally was able to flash the phone back to stock.
