How can I restore the animated weather on the home screen. I did a extensive search with no results found. when I select Home wallpaper, weather wallpaper, it takes me to My Wallpaper which I don't want. If i was to select one of those wallpapers that wouldn't work either. If the is a cab that would be nice, other wise If anyone could let me have a replacement file to replace the damaged file I could start enjoy the weather at home again thanks.I ADD THE 16 SHORTCUTS TO THE HOME SCREEN. i POSTED THE SAME MESSAGE IN THE TP2 SECTION FIRST BEFORE I CAME HERE. ANY HELP IS GREATLY WELCOMED.
Do you have a weather animation on the clock, just below the numbers, or does it say "my location"?
same issue
I've same issue with you. after I switch home wallpaper from weather wallpaper to Animated wallpaper and would like to change back to weather.
I've search several websites, they said about google map location .I try everything that they said but cannot dback to it.
I have been using android in HD2 since 2 days. I have one question, Can we change the size or view of some widget?
e.g. fav people widget is full screen in HTC scene but in office or other scene its half of the size so you can utilize half screen.
Also calender view is also different in some scenes..
Can I use that view in my custom scene?
In fact yes, you can.
You just have to delete the full-sized widget from your home screen and then re-add it! After selecting the widget in the list you will (as with the most Sense widgets)be asked to select one of the different views which are mostly different sized versions of the widget.
It does not matter which scene you use..
I hope to be of some help...
Hello,
As I'm reorganizing my main home screen (HTC Desire), I find that the original HTC 4x2 takes up too much space especially because I don't care about the weather part of it.
I do like the "flip clock" design though.
I have looked around for an alternative and have found the following solutions:
BeautifulWidget small home widget
This looks nice, especially with the right skin, but it's still a 4x1 widget and the clock itself is not centered even when hiding the weather part of it.
Is it possible at all to have the clock centered?
Digital World Clock widget
This one is a 2x1 widget without weather, which means I can center it at the top of the screen. Unfortunately the date display is bogus on a French locale phone, it does not respect the date format(day month year) and the name of the day of the week (Thursday) gets displayed as a number (5)
I have contacted the author about that, I'll see if he replies.
In the mean time, would you have any other suggestions for this?
Regards
Olivier
Hey,
You could try "Retro Clock Widget", free in the market. Has clock and date functions in separate 2x1 widgets. Not sure if it solves your date issues though.
Good luck.
Thanks, I did see that one as well but the date is not on the same widget as the time so it's not fitting quite well with what I'm looking for.
I sure looks nice though.

Thanks, but I could not find a way to configure it as a 2x1 widget without weather
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I use Flip Clock Large (used to be in the market, isn't any more, but you can still find the APK on the web) It's very similar to the original HTC Clock, but without the weather.
I had awesome 2x1 flip clock widget that is part of cMiui ROM, but can't find it anywhere as a standalone widget... please help.
Here is an image of it:

I tried that one, but it doesn't flip when unlocking, to show how many minutes has passed... this is something I really liked on cMiui flip clock widget and can't find it anywhere. It's driving me nuts
This looks like MIUI flip cloc widget:

it is just a static clock widget
Hi!
I use Launcher Pro and set my homescreen to 5 rows and 5 colums (like many other useres here did aswell). Thisway there is room for more widgets and the homescreen isnt so crowded. The downside is that a lot of widgets are not displayed very well.
So i thought we could try to collect all the widget which work perfectly in this layout. (Especially I am looking for a weather widget in 4x1, but please post all widgets which work. I will try to collect them in this post)
And since i am starting the topic, I list the first widget, which is working perfectly, even in 5x5:
Desktop Visualizer
I am hoping for lots of answers
Cheers

Can anyone give me an example of using a Stack Widget and being able to remove and add views dynamically.
Here is an example.
1) Widget loads and you add 4 views to the widget
2) User loads and activity within the same widget package and uses a button to delete one of the 4 views.
I need an example how to do that.
Thanks for the help!!
