Moto X Force not accepting power - Droid Turbo 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey y'all. I've had my Moto X Force for a little under a year now and all of a sudden it seems to have stopped accepting power from any power source. However when plugged in, the battery percentage does stay the same and doesn't seem to go down as I left it plugged in overnight and it hadn't changed.
The phone stays on if it reaches 0 while plugged in though which is weird.
So far to try and fix it I've:
-tried using different chargers
-tried charging from the PC
-installing a new ROM
None of these worked.
If anyone has a fix for this, that'll be great

I had this same issue.
The only way i got it to charge was to use my Samsung S7's fast charger.
Hope this helps. [emoji4]

Try changing your battrey that could be the possible issue

I've had a same issue, I went to the service and left the phone there, guaranty covered the fixing price and I was told the problem was with the usb port.

Power Management bug?

My Nexus 4 stops charging after the screen turns off, when i plug in to the wall adapter when the screen is ON. It charges normally when i plug it in when the screen is off, i.e., after pressing sleep button. Anyone else noticed this same issue or able to recreate this. My N4 is stock rooted btw.
Im sorry if this had already been posted. I did search the forum but couldn't find any related posts.

Your charger is likely faulty. It's probably not providing enough power to charge and operate the screen at the same time. Mine is the same, so I use an old samsung charger from my Nexus S instead (when not using my wireless charger)
Let me try another charger. But, i dont think its because of charger unable to provide enough power. if you can see the barchart against time, charging was active only until screen-on was active

Battery drain/ sudden shutdown

Hi just wondering if anyone else has had a issue with the battery suddenly having reduced charge. Over the last few days my wife has been complaining about her phone discharging in only a few hours. I thought an app might be causing it but I've looked and can't find anything that would cause wakelocks. Now she's complaining that the phone has shutdown after showing a 70-80% charge and then when it started back up was nearly empty. Has anyone else experienced this or can recommend a possible fix please? I'm going to try a factory reset when I get home from work but would appreciate any advise.

Nexus 7 - replaced motherboard- now battery issues

I had a Nexus 7 for two years and it ran flawlessly until one day it just did not work. I sent it back to Asus and they determined that it needed a motherboard. Because it was out of warranty I ordered one on eBay, and installed it and the tablet for the most part works fine.
However it registers 0% battery life and always says that I need to connect the charger. I know that the battery is fully charged because, just for instants, I set it up on a photo slideshow and it played for eight hours or more.
Occasionally I have trouble turning the tablet on. I read on some forums some tips and tricks – like trying to turn it on within a few seconds of plugging in the charging cable.
Other than to replace the motherboard again… Is there anything I can do with this to have consistent performance?
At this point… I would even love to sail this, but I don't know who would be interested in buying it in the condition it is in… Unless it were someone on this forum.

[Q] How odd?

Hello again my friends i have another strange moment with my phone.
So I have been back on the stock rom for quite a few months now but this morning my phone decided it didn't want to charge last night. so i plugged it in with another cable thinking this one had a short in it. turns out it still didn't work, and i am using the same usb charger it came with. NOW comes the part that bugs me, If i try to turn off my phone it just reboots. if i connect it to my computer, my computer then starts going crazy saying it can not communicate to it. i've done a hard reset and i haven't gotten it to charge or stay off. any ideas why this randomly started to happen and how to fix it?
Sounds like your USB port on your phone is fried. Try Odining stock again and if that doesn't work take it to a professional.
