[IDEA] vga cam as mirror

i have an idea to use the front VGA camera on the diamond as a mirror application
to check wether ur hair or lipstick is stil ok etc

hmm... i dont think that the vga cam is a mirror alternative cause the "mirror" is to small however it don't seem 2 be much work four a developer. but who makes it?

In the camera aplication you can already select the front camera... So this is already possible.

Yeah just select the fron camera from the app settings (i think you press the cog icon, then press one of the icons on the left of the pop up ) this switches the camera from the main rear camera, to the front camera.

Are sprints front Cameras disabled? (diamond/Pro)?

I don't think the Sprint (Pro) has a camera at the front. The Aussie version does though...

i have a touch pro, i dont see this option ??

Where is the front camera located on the Diamond? I have a Sprint CDMA and I believe that this was removed on Sprints version, but I just want to be sure.

[Q] Camera image does not fit screen / black bars

Problem shown in the picture url's below (I haven't hit the 10 post limit so sorry for the inconvenience with the "(dot)" stuff)

As you can see the image my camera is taking and filming does not fit my whole screen in the camera app, no matter the resolution I set the image to be captured at. I believe it is connected to the camera app it's self as I don't have this problem with pictures and video taken through Snapchat. The ROM I'm currently using is CloudyFlex 1.4 which is listed as having a "Flex ported camera", I've also tried switching from that and flashing Jinshu's camera mod version V2.5.6 EXPT_4 and the problem persisted. Any ideas?

Some people using Aeonflex were having the same issue. They resolved it by using the "App Settings" module in Xposed and changing camera DPI to 479 or 481.

It worked. Thanks a ton for the help.

I'm on oreo camera seems about as stable as stock camera no lag. Video has option for h.265. Performance about the same.

Flashed and don't see anything different. Doesn't the P20 camera have Super Slow-mo?

TEST RESULTS

Only thing keeping me from using MIUI is gcam, the quality of the camera is just too good to pass up, though the battery usage of MIUI roms are usually much better.

There's an app that sort of solves the issue, ghost something, can't really remember it, if I had the cam quality in MIUI i'd definately use it,

Yeah, i used some of those apps, but it affects screenshots as well, so not good enough for me. Im sticking with los16 for now

help. Camera issues

my rear cam can't open since i fixed my audio issues. the rear cam on Facebook and Instagram app is working but always on ultra wide angle and Auto focus or manual focus is not working. i tried to reflash any custom rom but it is still the same issues. i hope someone will help me with this problem . keep safe guys
