Andromeda for rooted s8 (oreo) - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

I wanted to know how to work andromeda on rooted s8 exynos? and also if i need sungstratum after i have andromeda?

On Android Oreo if you are rooted you don't need Andromeda or Sungstratum. Sungstratum is just for Nougat and Andromeda is needed only for unrooted phones.

[Q] Xposed + modules more stable on LP or MM?

Trying to get feedback about how xposed is running on MM. Deciding if systemless root is worth it for MM.
Thanks!
I've had xposed on LP and MM on my Moto X Pure.. Both have been very stable. Only reason for systemless root, as I see it, is you want to use Android Pay. Of course, once xposed is installed, Android Pay won't work even with systemless root.

Google.
apparentlty xposed isn't compatible with Samsung phone using Android 5.0
Have you asked on the xposed forum ??
I'm also looking for a way to hide my root from specific application.
I already "googled" it as Dejan Sathanas suggest, and solutions like temporary disable root are not good for me.
Thanks,
Look for app Magisk for hide root

Search and you will find working Xposed. I had used Arter's Xposed version (number I forgot).
I used Xposed with 5.0 AryaMod (stock based ROM) for more than 1.5years.
And then install Rootcloak and things should be fine.

I tried this once. Magisk then systemless xposed, it only got me in boot loop. Have you tried it yourself?

The OP clearly say "rooted with chainfire root", so how can you advice on Magisk?

Substratum Theme Engine in rooted Stock Rom

Is it safe / has anyone tried to use Substratum Theme Engine in normal Stock Rom ( Rooted via Magisk .
I'm on OpenEU Firmware v11i.

Substratum is for AOSP based custom ROMs. It won't work on LG stock firmware.

OK, so just to clear out any confusion. Does it support substratum on rooted stock rom on android oreo, without needing to install an aosp based rom?

I don't know about Oreo because I don't have it on my H870 yet but supposedly it does have full support for Substractum/Andromeda theming.

No idea about rooted (I'd imagine so but H873 doesn't have yet) I'm just using that leaked Canadian kdz on stock and most of it seems to be okay.
