Doubling touches - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Hello, My 2017G started to double touches. For example if I would not pay attention the topic of this post could be "Doobblinggg touchhess". Has anybody experienced this? May it be hardware problem?
It also applies to lower buttons, not only keyboard.
ROM Slim 4.

This was happening to me when I turned on glove mode. But I am on stock ROM though. Do you have something similar turned on?

Yes it has happened to me recently. I've got A2017.

Screen stops working momentarily?

Hello everyone. So far I'm loving everything about my Nexus 4. The thing is fast and beautiful, but I unfortunately I have a problem.
Every once in a while the LCD will stop working. I unlock it and it works, then maybe 5 hours later (after many unlocks and locks) I will unlock it and when the screen should come on my LCD slowly turns white, it looks like when you push on the screen, then it slowly spreads until the whole screen is white. I lock it then relock it and its back to normal.
Anyone else have this issue?

May be one of the apps you installed is trying to launch something upon unlocking. Do you have any er... shady looking apps installed?

Nope no shady apps. This doesn't seem like a software issue. I tried restoring many times, also the touch screen is still functional and I can still unlock the lock screen. I hear the click and I can launch apps (I placed YouTube on my home screen and just launched a video blindly)

I had that issue, but not anymore with the replacement that google sent me.
Although my screen issued has been fiex, my google wallet failed to work on the new phone.
So now, I am back to using the old phone with screen issue.

Damn.
Um... I kinda rooted and unlocked my boot loader and loaded CM10. I probably can't get a replacement now.
Sent from my Nexus 7
Sure you can, just flash stock image and relock the bootloader again.

This issues is really annoying, widgetlocker did not help it after all
I have re-installed stock twice, and I have ALSO tried another rom (MiNCO) but no dice.
I heard turning off auto-brightness resolves it, I'll try that for now

Loudspeaker rattle on AOSP roms

I've got some strange behavior while using AICP ROM on my Note 3 N9005 (hlte). So, when I search something through Google Voice, there's a noticable rattle in the loudspeaker while the "assistant" answers... I also noticed that loudspeaker rattle only while playing short phrases. For example, if I ask "the weather in New York", there would be a rattle, but if ask "who is Michael Jackson" - the sound would be absolutely clear..So I'm sure that this is not a hardware issue. Does anyone face it and is there a fix for that?

Just have sold my Note 3 to a friend, with the latest CM Lollipop installed and yesterday my friend called me and complained about the same thing...
Yeah, it's like that since forever...
Try turning off system sounds.

I haven't tried if it works yet, but I'd better leave it "as is"...
So, does anyone report the issue to CM developers?
Does anyone know, if every ROM based on pure android is affected by this bug?

Ghost Touch while charging

Moto G4 XT1622 16gb using normal charger, no turbo charger.
The ghost touch starts when using the phone while charging and even continues after the charger is disconnected, to stop it I have to turn the screen off and on again.
There is a oficial solution for this?
Is this 100% a hardware issue or it can be solved with a Moto update in the near future?
Cheers.

Same here xt1622 ghost touches more like the screen goes nuts weird unfortunately it happens on cm13 too
I also have this issue. Seems like the screen is being tapped in the bottom right of the screen (recent apps button)
xt1625 model
xt1625 here, and i get the same thing. no issues with ghost touching at all when its not charging. ghost touches fairly regularly when charging. luckily, its not an issue for me to leave it alone while charging. but yeah, it would be nice if they were able to fix that issue.
XT1622 here, Mine has been displaying the same ghost touch problem. It just bought me a camera while I was browsing the Ebay app, Buy It Now. Seller wasn't too amused but cancelled the order. Did tell him it was my phone and sent him a link to the Lenovo forum. Apparently it's a software problem and not a hardware one, Hard to believe! Thing is they won't tell anyone what the fix is, just telling people to take it to there nearest service centre.
Same hear screen goes nuts till remove charger if try use while plugged in only had phone few days was going to return as thought faulty but clearly it's software related hope it's fixed in N

hi, i am interested buying a european version of moto g4 , is the ghost touching problem still exists? Is it hardware or software? I am very afraid of buying the device if i am going to face this serious problem!
Software I'd say still present in 7.0 atm

This is not good. I remember that i read somewhere (don't remember forum) that Nexus 5x had something similar. Particularly when connecting to pc via USB.

Yes I remember having it on my Nx5 as well , for me not big issue if on charge I'm not using it doesn't seem so persistent on 7.0 as well couple times I've picked up and used while charging hasn't done it

I'm experiencing ghost touch on an almost daily basis now, mostly on battery power. I've never experienced it while charging. XT1625 model. I even contacted support and they kept telling me about software fixes (reset, change settings etc.) all of which to no avail. I'm convinved it's a hardware problem at this point and it's continually getting worse.
Of course when I spoke to them via live chat, they danced around the issue and finally gave me a number for the Spanish support line, (i don't even speak spanish) and left it at that. Gotta love support.
Something I've tried that is helpful for me is lowering the brightness.
Next time you have ghost touch problems try lowering the brightness and see what happens.
On my phone it makes the ghost touch go away completely but I can't speak for anyone else.
Not a permanent solution for sure but until one is found it beats having to reboot your phone.
Hi guys. I simply solved this problem using an app called "Touchscreen Repair", from the Play Store.
I tought it was useless, but incredibly it works!!!! I had ghost touch problems while charging with a quickcharger 3.0, I could not write a message! But now it seems to work well!
Hoping to help someone! Let me know if it's works for you!

Black screen randomly after a while when screen is on.

Hi there
I've an jiayu S3 Advanced for some time And no matter what ROM i use I've got a problem with screen goes black - it's like LCD doesn't got signal or something like that. I've noticed that touch works and phone is unlocked and works.
It's very annoying...
Anyone of you got similar problem and have a advice how to resolve ? I'm afraid that it might hardware related...But maybe it isn't ? Maybe It driver fault of something like that ?
If anyone of you have any advice please let me know.
Regards.
I have the problem the most time when doing something and call is incoming

Also have the issue, don't think I had the issue in RC5 but I do have it a lot in MM roms
Happens a LOT when there's data or calls, but not exclusive to those situations.
Also S3A

do you use any tempered glass or something similar that perhaps it covers the sensor?!
sent from my JiaYu S3 through TapaTalk
Ok in my case this is clearly mobile network related.
Had the phone on airplane mode (wifi and BT on though) and it never went dark, turned off airplane mode and it happened instantly.
Edit: And it happens a lot with a Kompson battery. Not with the green battery.

Yep, but I switched SIM cards from their slots and it's not happening anymore!
Weird!!!!
Guys, I have this problem mee too. It is very fristrating... I suppose it is a bad behaviour of Proximity sensor. I'm thinking to disable one sensor each test and see if probelm remains... someone know how I can do?
I tried also to recalibrate proximity sensor without result.
Now I try to switch sim cards as suggested from nature boy..

Auto brightness gets too dark?

Is anyone else experiencing auto brightness making the screen too dark at times?
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
Yes I'm facing this problem too bro
easy fix, don't use auto brightness.
Easier fix, use a custom kernel with minimum backlight setting. I set mine to 64, which is about 25% mjnimum brightness.
It will learn after time, keep adjusting it up on the slider and after a week it should be better.

If you are a Tasker user, you can even dynamically change the backlight setting based on time of day. I set it to something higher in the daytime and lower at night.
I had this issue on my TMO 6T that I converted to international 9.0.11, it was infuriating and it never got better. I finally went back to TMO official FW and haven't had a problem since.

Yup. The main reason I actually went back is I wasn't reliably getting text messages or phone calls; I was literally missing both every day. Not sure what the deal was with that, but since I'm back on TMO official this phone has been a LOT better.
