Install Recovery/Root Without PC?

I don't have access to a computer for a few days, but was wondering if it was possible to install a custom recovery on the Nexus 6P without a PC? I've heard KingRoot is available, but it's not compatible with the 6P on the N preview. Mainly looking at reverting back from N Be installing CM.

You can't flash recovery within the device software without root :/ and you can't flash custom recovery through bootloader without a PC. I don't believe there's any way to root within the N preview software so.. bascially.. No.

No. As Exad mentioned the only way to flash a custom recovery if you don't already have root is via fastboot which requires a PC.

I am wondering if currently anyway to unlock the bootloader on this version. If not, is there a way to rollback to an older version and then unlock it?

For starters, you cannot downgrade without an unlocked bootloader. Chicken and the egg :cyclops:

You appear to have the "unlockable" version, so read the thread above.
If not, there is always the "Sunshine" app (ie pay to unlock).

Also I know you can install Safestrap I'm just having a b*tch of a time finding it and it may be of some use.

Aosp 8.0 needed!

So i saw the AOSP for Huawei P10 Lite but project is removed. Is there any still possibility to i install it? And if i install it, it won't get updates anymore?

Hey! Could you check if video recording on snapchat/instagram works? Doesn't work on any other rom as far as I can tell.

TWRP flash failing even with Unlocked bootloader

I'm trying to flash TWRP on my bootloader unlocked Moto g5 plus. When I try to fastboot flash the image the flashing fails and then I have to use the Lenovo Smart Assistant to repair the phone. I took updates all the way up to Android 8.1, should I not have? Thanks!

Not sure. Have you tried flashing different versions of TWRP?

Not sure why, but I had to go to bootloader, try to flash, it would fail. Switch up/down on volume button and go to reboot bootloader, and then flash again. After that TWRP flashed just fine. *Shrugs*

OnePlus Update App

I'm using a TMobile OnePlus 6T, flashed to international rom, magisk for root, TWRP. Otherwise stock. I found this app, can it be used??
