*i own an s7 edge exynos, i have a question, i notice that every time i wake the phone up and then do my things for only a few seconds and then lock it again, it will decrease by one percent? Is this a normal behaviour? Is waking the phone up drain the battery? I have aod on and on 4g and wifi normally and i can get 4.5hr sot, max 6h, is this common or is there any problem? Last time i can get 8hr even 9hr sot on s7 edge, i cant achieve this after nougat update and the sot is half of what i got last time but i heard some people can get 8h sot on nougat, any help s7 or s7 edge user?

Can users with 910C tell us what is the battery life on that model?
I was on 5.0.1 stock PDA N910CXXU1BOC3 and CSC N910COXX1BOC1, battery life was terrible, after that i downgrade to 4.4.4 stock PDA N910CXXU1ANK5 and CSC N910COXX1ANK2, i made a full calibration after.
My screen time in 22 hours is 2h and 30m, 37% battery left. Rest was idle. It is so, so little. In standby i got 0-1% in 10h, so idle standby is very good. Band was set on GSM only, all sensors deactivated.
Any advices? What are your times gentlemans on SM-N910C model?

I'm on 5.0.1 BOC3 and every day I have WiFi and Bluetooth on all day, screen at just under 25% brightness (unless outdoors). I regularly get 6 hours SoT, but usually finish the day with 4-5 hours SoT and about 20% battery left. Today so far the phone has been on 4 hours with SoT of 1 hour and I have 89% battery left. Did you do a factory reset before/after moving to Lollipop? Coming from an N7000 I've been very pleased with the battery life on the N910C.

try greenify, it improved it a lot! (from 2hours to 3.5hours)
I have Greenify installed, but honestly don't find I need to use it much. I have automatic hibernation turned off, and just hit the widget now and again when I feel the need to close some persistent apps. (I am not rooted).

Pff. Thats splendid. Mine goes 1% every 1-2 minutes when im use it. I tryed 3-4 roms, different base, LL and KK too. Same battery life. In standby is very good. Its drops when i use phone. I charged 3 h and 50 mins ago. Now i have 79% with 55 mins of screen. I belive it is very weak. On this percentage i will get 3 h of screen
Sounds like maybe some app you have installed is causing problems, or could be a problem with your battery. Have a read through some of the other threads on battery life for tips and possible solutions.
Hi all
currently still using lollipop and wondering if its worth instally marshmallow. is the battery life better and have less battery drain then on lollipop?
Thanks
DOSE does help to extend the battery life of the Note 4, when it's not being used and is still powered on.
Forgjve me for asking but are you joking or do you mean that the cell standby usage drops with marshmallow compared to lollipop? Im looking for any possible ways to get thjs reduced. My cell standby percentage is almost 30 and 40%
Hello: In my particular case, before in 5.1 i have 1% per hour of battery drain, now with Marshmallow i have 3 % EVEN with Doze per hour, so in my case make worse my cell phone and with more lag.
So in my case again. I don't recommend you upgrade your phone.
But Cell Standby with Lollipop is terrible....its using so much battery!
Does marshmallow help to get rid of cell standby?
Anyone?
after last update i have heavy cell standy usage. I want to sell my note 4 and go for s7 edge
Bought this branded exynos s7edge 1 month ago. I founded battery problem since day 1. First i noticed huge standby battery drain, something like 15-20% on 6hours. I have read all threads and post on every forum i found on internet and i tried everything.I made lot of wipe cache, factory reset. I disabled lot of function and bloatware with package disabler. I downloaded better battery stats and also wakelock detector lite.I tried lot of other things that now i can't remember. Now the situation has improved but i think there are other issues. The standby drain is 6-10% over night but whatever I do i can't get more than 4 hours sot. Both on 4g or wifi, gaming or web browsing i get the same amount of sot. And my smartphone is something like a piece of wood, no sync, no push emails, no notifications of 90%apps.
4 hrs sot on 4g is good, but on wifi i think is not. iwith the nexus 5 2300mah battery i could do 3hrs on wifi, 3,30 with low usage.
This s7edge costs 2x and got 50%more battery.
I'm starting to think about a hardware problem.
today i got 21hrs from charge, 4 hrs sot, 30min gaming, 20min instagram 15min whatsapp. no calls. 90% under wifi. spent the whole sot time changing settings, looking at photos and doing virtually nothing.
Unfortunately i can't upload bbs screens.
Did u try flashing other rom with Odin? A stock one offcourse
4hrs sot is completely normal on wifi/4g. Want more sot? Turn your brightness to 10%. There's no problem.
I am a s7 edge user and dont know whats happening to my mobile. Its battery is lasting only 4-5 hours on moderate use .is it ok? Should i replace the battery...
4-5 hours is not so bad. I pull out about 3 to 4 hours on my S7 edge

Check the battery health from this app. Then u can decide.
So i had exynos version of s10 plus and i reached easily the 6h 7h SOT a day of medium usage ,but i wanted the better version with snapdragon soc but surprised that barely i reach 5h of sot with the same settings .
No lte no facebook no games, reddit xda and a few news apps with camera use
I did a hard reset and the same thing ,did not exceeded 5h of sot
You must be doing something wrong, because I have that exact model and i get 9-10hrs of screen time every battery cycle, and up to 12hrs SOT when I'm using mostly WiFi.
I do keep my phone set to medium power mode, have lots of sleeping apps, and use night mode so that helps.
