Hi guys, i have a xt1626.
And for some reason last night I lost my network signal and SIM 2 status.
Well... I made a factory reset and flashed lastest stock rom (december 2017).
But it still not work.
SIM 1 is working IMEI is correct. but no signal. Only showing "No Service". SIM 2 is missing.
When I see baseband it shows lastest baseband but not with "DSTV RET_BR..." on final. It show "DFLT_FSG".
I flash modem, install others rom (custom) but nothing works.
There is a chance that make it working again?
Are you sure you have flashed the correct version of stock rom.??? This happened to me only when I flashed the ROM for another variant!
I flash this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138
After some google search I found the problem.
The mobile radio is not turning on. Like if the phone still in airplane mode.
i don't know what i have to do. No looks like HW problem cause sim card is recognized
There is a place wich i found specific firmware for xt1626?
firmware.center only have universal firmware.
That link doesn't have the firmware for 1626.. there was a file factory link that had all the variants stock ROMs.. So if you find any nougat version you can flash that barring bootloader and gpt.bin as downgrading them will result in a brick! And then take OTA!

When I upgrade my Samsung N9005 (European version) to Android 4.4, it does not detect any of my sim cards. I have tried this on three phones I have and am now sure there is a porblem with the firmware not my sim card. I am on China Unicom. I have also tried to insert a sim from a different country, it does not even ask for the pin since to it nothing is inserted. I have tried different region firmwares from HongKong, United Kingdom and Unknown. Please help.
Anyone?
How do I make my posts popular. I always ask questions on this forum and never receive answers. Yet there are 52k people online.
Be patient. You are not special that you should get immediate answers on your topics.
Thought about possible hardware failure? It could go under warranty as well.

Its not a hardware failure. I have three phones which I got after exchanging so this is six in total that have this issue. I also cannot downgrade back to 4.3 which is what I would prefer as for now.
What version of 4.4.2 you have? I need the build number.
I would recommend reflashing firmware, might eliminate those bugs.

I have tried 4.4.2 N9005XXUEND3_N9005OXAEND1_BTU and UK firmware N9005XXUEND3-N9005OXAEND1.
Just to add some detail, my phose Baseband is unknown and when I try to check the IMEI I cannot since it interpretes it as a phone call "Mobile Network not available"
Look around the forum, there are solutions for that. Apparently something went wrong when you updated firmware.

Try re-flashing the entire firmware, or extract only modem files and flash it manually. See the post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52948152&postcount=13

I'm experiencing the same issue. Flashed a new Temasek CM11 nightly and after booting into the rom for the first time no PIN unlock dialogue appeared. The phone is stuck at "searching for service". My IMEI number is still there and both SIM cards I have tried work perfectly in my iPhone.
I'm still on JB 4.3 bootloader with CMW recovery 6.0.4.5 and baseband is N9005XXUBMI6. Is it possible something got messed up when flashing latest CM? Perhaps baseband/modem firmware outdated?
I'm downloading N9905XXUEND3 and will flash back completely to stock. Will report back here later.

I have managed to solve the problem.
1. First back up EFS and FSG in case you haven't done that yet. On the N9005 your IMEI information is stored in FSG so do not use any tools that only backup the EFS without the FSG. For tools check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2611903
2. Flash stock image for N9005. I was still on JB 4.3 with the unlocked bootloader so I flashed JB 4.3 again, didn't bother with KK 4.4 which will lock the bootloader after flashing.
3. Booting back into stock and the SIM PIN entry menu appeared straight away.
4. Flash CWM recovery appropriate to your bootloader 4.3 or 4.4
5. Flash CM
6. SIM PIN entry and cellular works perfectly again
conclusion:
I'm not sure why this happened. Downgrading to a previous CM build did not solve the issue. So I'm reluctant to blame CM itself. Perhaps the recovery was the culprit. Somewhere something must have been corrupted during a flash. Luckily nothing that couldn't be fixed by flashing stock.
Hi all,
I have recently flashed my phone with Phoenix rom v9.0 upgrading from an older version omega rom. The installer went through without an issue but when it boots up it won't connect to the mobile network(vodafone australia). If I go to settings>more networks>Mobile networks>Network operators it searches and connects to vodafone and will work until the screen turns of then it disconnects.
In the install instructions it says if you lose connection when screen is off flash with latest kitkat modem. I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025
And flashed via Odin modem XXUGNF1. And still get the same issue. Please help!!
It's usually because you are on the old bootloader and are using a incorrect modem. If you are on the old bootloader you need a specific modem to work with Android 4.4.2. Im not sure which one though. You have to search for it.
Thanks will search for correct modem... If no such luck would just flashing the new bootloader fix this issue. Is losing the ability to downgrade the only dissadvantage to doing so?
I have flashed heaps of modems and still keeps cutting out on screen off. I have also tried to find a csc file for my country and carrier and no luck. Thinking of just jumping in and flashing the newest bootloader and modem to see if that fixes the problem. Is voiding the warranty the only issue with knox or will it stop me from flashing new custom Roms down the track?
After trying to install few custom ROMS namely DR. Ketans and SimplRom I experience SIM removed error problem.
The flashing goes fine with full factory reset (only internal SD is not wiped), I enter the PIN when I'm asked for it. The SIM is unlock but when the phone registers on the network it gives SIM removed error and forces a reboot.
I also upgraded the bootloader and the modem to the latest versions BL_N910FXXU1BOD2 and CP_N910FXXU1BOC4 but the problem remains the same.
When I restore back to the original ROM (backed up by TWRP) everything works fine. If dirty flash custom ROM over it again there are no problems with the SIM card.
The only conclusion is that T-Mobile has some additional software installed.
The phone is SM-N910F bought from T-Mobile. It has T-Mobile branding on boot and shutdown.
Does anyone now anything about this ?
To update it with my own research.
Apparently the SIM card is lock to Macedonia region. MBM CSC. When installing custom ROM the CSC gets changed and the phone rejects the SIM.
In an effort to resolve this I've flashed DE DBT CSC ROM and the phone won't accept my SIM card.
Currently I'm downloading the original T-Mobile MKD firmware and I hope by restoring it that I will be able to use the phone again.
Also since I paid for the phone in full I intend to contact T-Mobile tomorrow and ask them to unlock my phone.
Will write what comes out of this. Don't want someone else to lose their nerves as I did today
Definitely the issue was in wrong CSC. I've downloaded the original firmware and everything worked again.
But I couldn't stay put and wanted to flash a custom ROM so I went with http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-bob4-devbase-multi-csc-safe-bloat-t3033881.
It's a great base ROM stripped of Knox and de-bloated. Most importantly it keeps your current CSC intact.
The procedure was:
Flash original firmware with Odin,
Root with CF-Auto root
Flash TWRP recovery with Odin
Reset data so that it completely goes stock because flashing the original firmware doesn't reset data
At this point I made full nandroid backup
Flash ALEXAND ROM
Uninstall additional bloatware
So far it's working fine.
I hope that this will help someone.
I need some help on my Grand 2. The other day, I had flashed a view ROM's from the Original Development section, and succeed in getting them to work. After a while (my bad for not noticing earlier), I saw that my card seems like it wasn't registered to network (Emergency calls only). Assuming that I did something wrong, I flashed latest 4.4.2 stock using Odin, and noticed that on stock, only Sim 1 is working. After trying out a few stock 4.4.2, and some other ROM, now both sim cards aren't working.
I checked IMEI, and both IMEI are still readable, so I don't think it's EFS issue. And I have also tried to flash modem.bin but it still isn't working. Using Odin to repartition and flash stock also doesn't work.
Does someone here have some experience on this and could point me to the right direction?
Hi guys
i installed the oreo android 8.1 custom roms on my phone (A510FD) and because of too buggy experiences, i decided to back to stock firmware.
when i flashed the stock firmware via ODIN software, when my phone boots up, i faced with the big problem, the " NO SIM CARD DETECTED " Error message, and there is no signals, no imei and network related things.
flashed so many roms, customs and stocks, doesnt fix the problem.
finally i found an article about how to fixing imei problems for samsung phones, the answer is "Combination Roms".
after flashed the combination rom with due attention to my bootloader version (you must find a version that be equal or higher than your phone's bootloader's version), it fixed all problems. after that i flashed stock firmware and everything goes fine.
Combination Roms are made to fix and diagnosis phone, i'll hope it could help everyone that had the same problem .
Best regard
