I have read in chinese forum that they have receive b353 for mate8.is this true?

Any way to d-load flash this without loosing root and twrp? I know it must use stock recovery.

There is the latest kangvip ROM which is based on B353

Well thats odd. I tested it out and to my surprise, it locked back up my bootloader and got rid of that low key annoying screen "This phone cannot be trusted"

And yours with date 30/9
And in release notes in asus website the last update is .198 with date 12/10
I don't understand why that. ?

If you have MM then it makes sense for it to be from last week. I'm still on LP. I missed the fact that the version number starts with 2.21 and not 2.20. It's probably because there already was a 2.20.40.184.

The latest version is of 4.21.40.184 which is M.
Older one that you had,it was 2.20.40.184..thats L... u got .194,.198 after that... but its a new series starting from 4.21.40.112(android M)
#in asus website, still they haven't updated it as it requires few time to build complete firmware.

if you are sure is new mm update I suggest you to change thread name including mm reference, for now the title seems referring to the 184 lollipop update.
sure a new mm update will have many users interested

This update has fixed a lot of the issues I have been having (screen filter, Bluetooth). Also security patch is updated to November 1, 2016. Worth the update imo. Battery is the same as before

Cant flash this using lgup. Always getting an error 0x2000 flashing fail

Using Lg bridge to update. Software update tab==>Check version or flash rom via lg up tool==>KDZ
How to get these rom? ==>When you use lg bridge to update about 90% dowloading,unplug cable and it's going to save in your computer. ==That's how.

Just write " lg g5 nougat" in youtube, there are videos already and it looks same as V20.

I updated my g5 via lg bridge. Andorid 7.0 v20c. All good. Except my rear camera got darker.

They have stopped the beta testing (for users). I got this from their representatives. May be soon stable release.
