no, you have to flash lollipop firmware first then update your twrp and you can now go flash 6.0+ roms

I acquired a backup G2 with CM13 Cyanogen Marshmallow rom. Can I flash a stock based Lollipop (rooted) ROM or lollipop custom ROM over the CM13 rom in recovery?

Yes. I just did that from CM13 to IceXRom. My device is F320k. And my custom recovery is the latest TWRP.

Aren't you tempted to run CM13 for a week or so just to compare? Its fantastic on the GPAD 8.3, (Which is pretty much a G2.)
Hi Iam using lollipop krafts030 I felt camera &battery is not that good so I want to downgrade to KitKat i need official modified/unmodified stock KitKat ROM not krafts017 it drains battery fast plzz some one should suggest other Stockrom for Lenovo a6000plus

If you are on any lollipop or M based ROM, you can flash any lollipop or M based ROMs.

Try MIUI 8 Latest Updated . It's a Good Lollipop Rom

As far as I know, you must be on Android 5.x Lollipop before you flash higher MM or Android Nougat.
