i tried to flash my phone's recovery which showed "successful" . But when I try and go into recovery mode or fastboot mode the phone automatically switches back on
fastboot doesn't recognize my device
but adb does
I can't even do a factory data reset after the phone switches back on!

Hi,
I tried to install Grola Rom on my phone and unfortunately I think that I may have flashed the ROM for the D802 (I tried to find a faster DL than the FShare link).
My phone is now stuck in Fastboot Mode. I've tried every method to try to get my phone back into regular working condition, but my laptop does not recognize my phone. No matter which driver I install, it shows up as Android in device manager and ADB devices and Fastboot devices shows up nothing.
I was able to get it to boot into download mode for about two seconds before it boots itself back into download mode immediately.
I've tried accessing recovery and download mode, but nothing works.
How would I either get back to recovery or at the very least back to download mode so I can go back to stock?

Edit: When I boot up it just says Fastboot Started.
When I plug it in, it says:

--portchange--
--reset--
--portchange--

my mobile is stuck at fastboot mode, i can go to download mode but it's not recognized by PC, tried to flash KDZ file but it tells me to connect my phone with the USB cable
i cant perform hard reset too, when i press the power button to perform the hard reset, it jumps back to fastboot mode black screen

Hi need help, looked through various guides without success, in my situtation i cannot enter fastboot mode or download mode, i can however enter the phone normally
ultimately I want to factory reset this phone by flashing however i'm not sure how to get into download mode, i have been told that you can reflash the partitions with fastboot however can't get into fastboot mode,
the phone is rooted, is there a solotion to this???
I softbricked my phone. I was in TWRP and wiped everything including the rom that was on it. So i have tried flashing the stock back on using the various toolkits out there. I have also tried to push a rom file onto the sdcard. However it seems my computer is only detecting the phone in adp mode when its in recovery or sometimes when its stuck on the google logo screen. as soon as it goes into fastboot mode no more detection. Also it seems the bootloader is locked again. hwoever i cant unlock it as i cant get it into the adb mode on thr fastloader screen. someone please help. ?

I wanted to be able to go back in TWRP mode but i cant figure out how to put
the phone in download mode without turning it off.
1) being stuck in prompt i can only reboot with fastboot reboot
2) if i drain battery, once pluged USB it turns on automaticaly. I cant put it in a turned off state. If battery dies, any charge will turn on the phone, not leave it off and charging.
3) recovery mode does not get me into TWRP only download mode.

Hold vol.down and power til it reboots. Let go of power for 1. Sec once LG G6 boot screen comes on. This should bring up screen with Yes/No answer. Answer Yes twice and it'll reboots into TWRP recovery.
If rhis doesnt work then plug in USB Cable, enter download mode, KDZ back to stock Nougat, roots, install TWRP all over again
If you can get into fastboot, then why not re-flash recovery from there? Then boot into recovery (button combination hueyt mentioned above)
