Downgrade firmware LX1AC432 - Huawei P10 Lite Questions & Answers

I upgraded to B193 through Firmware Finder and now my battery life seems have become worse then when I was on B187. Is there anyway I can downgrade to B187 again or even B131? Also do official OTA updates become disabled if you use Firmware Finder?
My device is the LX1AC432 4GB RAM model

Has anyone downloaded and updated the mate 8 with this update from FF?
If yes please let me know your comments so as to decide whether to update as well.
Am currently on C185B190.
Does not seen i Shall ever get an update to nougat.
Thank you
I updated my phone to B321 two days ago. Is seems to be smoother, but it may be like this because I did factory reset that day
Which file u download ... 1.9GB or 400 MB OTA... And do u download it from the F. F apps
I did mine through FF, sending it to the stock update app. Seems a little smoother. With the glitches still coming from
time to time with a lot of people appear to be having with emui5/nogut7 I think I'll hold off on updating to any emui5 firmware.

I'll update to emui 5.0 when they will release something newer than B560.
BTW, I also updated my phone trough FF.
I am on L29C185B200 ... I want to update B560 ... But when I try to download it from the firmware finder app... It's only downloads 74%... It's full file size is 1.87GB but it downloads only 1.4GB ... Help me please
Hi. I am on L29C185b320 can any one suggest a proper way and firmware to upgrade plz.
Try Firmware Finder app for Huawei...
In FF, turn off "use new firmware base" and "view OTA updates"
When I did that, the ONLY firmware that shows up is the 321 firmware OR EARLIER.
I'm of the opinion, I'm going to leave the new firmware base & view OTA off until I see
the "official" version of 7, then wait a couple weeks to see how it works out.
I'm also trying to get 7.0 update... In Firmware Finder it's showing B560 but I can't download it ... There is a problem with the system ...

Doubt there is a problem with the system, it's because your build, will not allow the updating of an OTA version most likely.
In the setting of the FF program, turn off OTA and then look for firmware. When I did that last week, the 321 build was the
only option I had. My guess is that when/if a FULL build for our particular phone is available, with the OTA turned off, a
full build will show up.
But, that is just a theory on my part.
What's your build number ... Mine is L29C185B200...

should i upgrade to the latest firmware?

hey guys, im using the zenfone 3 ze552kl. and i rooted my z3 right after i updated my firmware to the first official nougat firmware for zenfone 3 which is Version WW-14.2015.1701.8.
and recently, i checked on this website https://www.asus.com/in/support/Download/39/1/0/28/CHukp94xOkwRMIP4/32/ the latest firmware for zenfone 3 is Version WW-14.2020.1708.56 which came out 20 days ago.
so my question is, should i update my zenfone 3 to the latest WW-14.2020.1708.56? or should i stay with WW-14.2015.1701.8 because WW-14.2020.1708.56 has a lot of bugs?
thank you in advance.
It's all good and fine except 3rd party theme no longer supported to which i wasn't able to retain my close to stock android quick setting. If it doesn't matter to you then go ahead.
I find the newer versions to be much more stable. Give it a try, re-rooting is easy.

Are you sure? Then why so many bad reviews at here https://www.asus.com/zentalk/in/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=152944&extra=page=1&page=2&mobile=2
The reason why I asked should I update to the latest firmware or not cause I'm rooted, I can't even checked if there's any system update in settings, so in order for me to update is to manually flash the firmware instead of installing it ota.
Anyway, my current version I'm using is nougat 14.2015.1701.8. it is the first ever official nougat firmware given to the ze552kl. And so far I'm using it, I have no issues at all, no bugs. But I'd like to stay up to date knowing there's a latest and recent firmware out there. But is it worth it? Since my current version is already stable for me.
Are u sure the latest firmware has no bugs? Or should I just stay on my current firmware version?

I've been testing each new version before it comes out through ASUS' beta program. I've found newer firmwares to fix more and more bugs, with no downsides.
Updating is super easy if you sideload the update via adb and simply install Magisk when you're done for root. I did it just the other day and it took me less than 15 minutes.
Edit: It's still 7.0, by the way.
The update is certainly pleasing and anyone agree that the camera takes better pictures in lack of light situation in auto mode ?

There was a short period where they were accepting applications. Only a few people got in, myself included. They might open it up again when there's a beta version of Android Oreo for your model.
By the way, the ZE520KL has 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The ZE552KL model has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Don't continue downloading cause after you download it completely, it won't install. Cause it's not approved and it's not for honor 8 lite.

Yes we will get oreo update but 322 version is not for us.
There is another version in firmware finder that is 321 and that is for our phone but it can't be installed cause it's not approved for installation.
These versions of oreo that are now on firmware finder are beta. Wait a little for the official stable version. It might be released soon. Maybe this week or next week

The latest version is 214 for our device. If you want to found the firmware for our device in firmware finder you need to do this.
First tap on the Add model button
Then search this: PRA-L21HC185
then tap on ok and you will see this model on the main screen of the app.
The firmwares in that section is for our phone.
The name is different but after you installed the rom, you'll see build number is still pra-la1c185.
Just before getting the update checked the firmware access
The latest version is 214 for now. I installed before and it was approved for installing but now it's not approved. I don't know why!
But you can install 211 if 214 is not approved for you too

Best firmware?

I have an S5 on firmware 5.0, the device is running pretty slow and I reformatted it recently.
I would like to update it to something more recent but am not sure on which one is the best.
I will probably end up rooting it to remove bloatware.
What firmware should I update it to?

Reverting Back to Unbranded Unlocked Firmware - Please help

Hello all,
My problem is as follows:
I have the SM-G950U USA Galaxy s8, Unbranded and unlocked. I flashed the Samsung UI beta firmware back in January which put me on T-Mobile firmware. I have been trying to flash back to the unbranded unlocked firmware, but have not found it available anywhere online.
I would like to revert back to my original unbranded firmware because now I do not receive any software updates, as when I go to software update in settings I get the message, "Your current software version is not supported. Visit a service center." I therefore can only update by flashing releases through Odin. I flashed the March security patch update from Tmobile recently, so that is what I am currently running.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Just check the bootloader version and flash U1 fw in odin. You may need patched odin. Updato or samfirm should be able to get the u1 fw no issue.

So I flashed XAA firmware off of Sam mobile. The files did not have the "userdata" file - after flashing my phone has Sprint userdata and has two Sprint system applications. Is there anyway to get rid of Sprint entirely and completely revert to unbranded? Flashing the G950U1 XAA got me back to receiving automatic updates, but has not gotten rid of the phone being branded...
