[Q] ROM's With Different CSC's?

Hi Guys,
I originally asked this in the ROM's thread, over here
But i didn't get any answer, at all, so i was hoping someone here could clear the questing up for me.
Everything on the Custom CWM Flashable ROM matches my existing software verson apart from the CSC as found by *#1234# .
Will this be OK or will this brick my device? Any help would be really appreciated, i know there's someone out there that can help me out.
All the searching I've done on CSC's just tells me the differences not the consequences.
I live in the UK and i'm on O2, just need to know if the ROM will work?
Thanks in advance!
from my experience about my older samsung devices galaxy tab and note 1 it cause only factory reset your phone but don't know if knox thing change something about csc too.

Use Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app to check for the CSC code and then download your appropriate firmware.
In the app you can get the info about:
- 'Original' CSC code
- Firmware's CSC code
- Active CSC code

Everyone says that they searched, whether they actually did or not. it's a lot more convincing when people summarize what a search found.
There are so many threads on this subject that it's difficult to imagine what search keywords could have missed finding any of the existing threads on this subject. In short, writing a Qualcom firmware to an Exynos handset is not recommended. The likely result is a non-functioning phone and possibly permanent damage.

thanks for the reply..
i have AFG firmware installed, tell me exaclty whats the difference between tow regions firmwares? only apps that comes with firmware or some other core changes too?
You didn't give the full firmware version, so who knows? You only posted a few letters from the firmware making it ambiguous at best what firmware build you are referring to.
You can do a search for the change log or news items about a firmware version if you want to know what features or changes were made in an update.

How can I "rebrand" my s8?

Hy guys. I'm sure it has been said a million times but I need a sort of guide on how to do this.
My situation is this:
I've got a S8 with TIM Italy firmware. I tried to debrand it and I managed to have ITV/ITV/TIM on the carrier CSC thing. Now (for work reasons) I need to bring this phone on Vodafone Italy firmware. I've tried to flash different firmwares in a million ways but I only managed to achieve OMN/OMN/TIM on the CSC line. This means no VoLte and no 4.5G (very important for my work).
So my question is: is there any way to get my phone to be fully Vodafone?? Thank you guys a lot in advance...
As not stated other, I believe you have a g-950f?
If so, then simply flash ->this<-
Newest Oreo with Vodafone CSC (OMN)
Still haven't managed
Thanks a lot for the quick reply... Yes.. the device is a 950F.
As I stated in the OP, I already tried that Vodafone firmware and many others... But in the Carrier SW version I still get "OMN/OMN/TIM". And I noticed that in Download mode there is a row in red with "Carrier ID : TIM".....

Need some help with CSC [S8+ EE - EVR4CRK1]

Hey everyone,
I recently upgraded from my OP3 running HavocOS to the Samsung Galaxy S8+.
I bought it second hand from some guy who said he got it in England.
The CSC of the device from what I see is for the UK for the EE carrier. It is also the reason I am stuck on 8.0.0.
I want to change my CSC only so I can upgrade to Pie. My problem is I've searched the forums and the web but I've found too many "methods" and don't know which is the correct one.
I only want to change the CSC without tripping Knox, or rooting.
Can anyone point me to a safe, secure, "idiot-proof" method?
Much Appreciated!
