Best Rom for my secondary phone (Huawei p8 lite ALE-L21) - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
i know i should just use the search button and in fact i did it before posting, but i still find many different opinions.
I'm searching for a rom to put on my Huawei p8 lite ale-l21, and i'm really confused about what to flash.
I don't know what's better if a based-stock rom or an unofficial custom ROM..
Can u tip me ?
If you tip me, can u give a link on the forum of the best rom i can put in?
Thanks a lot for the patience.

For me the best custom rom is OmniRom 6.0.1. Good perfomance and good battery life. I don't know in Nougat, I like nougat but the battery is of all roms is not good.
( If you want pass the safety net, use magisk )
Is a very popular rom, search OmniRom p8 lite and try it.

Huawei Mate 8 CyanogenMod compatibility?

Hi everyone! I'm a new user so I don't know if I post at right place. Anyway, I use Huawei Mate 8 with EMUI which contains full of "unwanted elements". The specifications are great but the UI makes it horrible. I'm planning to flash custom ROM such as CyanogenMod but after multiple searching I found out Huawei Mate 8 might not compatible for CyanogenMod flashing. Is this true? If so, what other alternative ROM will Huawei Mate 8 compatible? I would like to flash it with stock Android-like custom ROM. I don't want to use horrible manufacturer UI. I don't want to use KangVIP because it's still EMUI based or some what looks like EMUI...
There is no custom rom atm.
Maybe try this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/development/rom-simply-google-t3311395
its nearest cyanogenmod

Best suitable Rom to be flashed

Guys can u share the best rom for mt6572 kk4.4.2 out there? I want to give a new look to my phone. please guide me to do it. my phone is rooted. phone: Inew cxq u1. Recently I have flashed my phone via sp tools with stock rom. And this time I want to flash with custom rom. please guide me to install recovery and porting by pc/phone.
Sorry, it's a question impossible to answer. It's also a wrong kind of question in this forum. No decent Android user will answer that. My recommendation is to try different Roms and drink Ron Zacappa.

Search on needrom website
I cant tell you how to get the best rom but you can search on needrom website. Go to your phone's section. There would be many rom, so read about their features and search for the one with highest rating.(Generally the latest ones).

New to Androids, New to custom ROMs

Hello world!
As you see im a proud new android user, im a big newb, came from apple side. So, my xiaomi user friend just flashed a custom rom in his phone, and told that he saw big difference regarding the speed and the battery of the phone.
The thing is that, i have no idea about those things, i curently have Android 6, EMUI 4.1.1 installed on my phone, and i wanted to know if i can install any better ROM in there. I have my p9 lite nearly a year now, and the battery consumption is getting worse. What do you suggest? Thanks!
Out there you can try CyanogenMod13, ResurrectionRemix MM, SlimRom MM, LineageOS 14.1, ResurrectionRemix Nougat, Paranoid Android 6.0.1.
If you want to try out some ROMs there are quite a lot, if your aim is to save battery I suggest you a Marshmellow(6.0) ROM with Xposed and Amplify because the Nougat ROMs drains the battery a little more.
If you decide to try some ROMs, save your bootloader unlock code because you may need it in the future and follow these instruction carefully when you install for the first time a custom ROM: http://www.meticulus.co.vu/p/hi6250-custom-rom-installation.html
Huawei is a little complicated but if you follow these instruction you will be able to install ROMs without problems.

New to P8 Lite (ALE-L21) modding: which ROM should I choose?

Hi guys, I'm waiting for my bootloader code from Huawei assistance in order to root my phone; I would like to install a new modded rom, preferably with Nougat. I know most of the roms have several problems/bugs, so I'm asking you: which one should I choose? I'm looking for a stable and smooth rom (maybe with a bit of battery optimization too).
Or, if Marshmallow roms are stabler and smoother, which one would you suggest me?
Thanks guys! :fingers-crossed:

I know that some people like AOSPA the most for battery and RROS for Customization
Thanks
I've read the same, but I wonder if the roms are both very stable check in their threads.

Looking for Advice

Hey guys. First time posting in this forum, looking for suggestions.
I have a now broken Mi 9T pro and a previous Huawei P8 Lite 2015 (ALE-L21C75B564), 4.0.3 EMUI, Android 6.0. I like this old phone, it's lightweight and it's not as "addictive" as the other one.
However, I see it's pretty outdated and the battery goes away super fast.
I have never installed a custom ROM, but I am a bit familiar with the process. My question is: Which ROM do you guys recommend? Stable, updated, fast and low battery use.
Thank you!
TLDR:
Which ROM to choose?
