How do I get rid of the"Your device is corrupt" screen, I'm currently running ASOiP rom.
You get that message after bootloader is been unlocked, do not lock it...
Bootloader can only be locked with official rom from their web site or from "return to stock" files from XDA
You will have to deal with it

If it's the red message, that's different than the "your device can't be checked for corruption" message. Have a read from the FAQ by Invisblek: https://mata.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

Yes it's in Red
I had this issue also. I tried to flash the latest factory firmware, but the warning was still there. The only way I was able to get rid of the warning was by sideloading the Oreo beta 3.

The unlocked bootloader warning message can easily be removed too: http://www.droidviews.com/remove-bootloader-unlocked-warning-on-moto-x-and-moto-x-2014/ I tested it and it work on our Moto X Play.
Oops.....completely forgot that this will wipe the phone (as all devices do when unlocking the bootloader).

They already know since you requested the bootloader unlock code. From the terms and conditions:

As adviced by the xda thread i followed the instructions, but after getting the Unique key via Email, when i enter "fastboot unlock OEM UNLOCKKEY", it gives an error saying Failed to unlock Bootloader. Check "Allow OEM unlock" in Developer Options.
I cannot boot my phone.

i recall this problem happening to someone earlier, he solved it by clearing cache and factory wipe from recovery
bootloader>>recovery>>factory reset and clear cache

There is a thread I created for the first timers.
You have to check the option "allow oem unlock" in developer options.
Please check the whole forum for details before doing anything like this.

If you leave it unlocked after rooting then it can make your phone more susceptible to localised threats like someone stealing your phone and re-purposing it or stealing your data from it directly.
But for many the reward outweighs the risks and there are ways to mitigate.
Trying to unlock Moto X Play on Linux by using "fastboot oem get_unlock_data", but it just says waiting for device. I ran "adb devices" and also enable "Allow unlocking device" in the Developer menu. Am I missing something?

I have previously had my Motorola Play rooted and bootloader unlocked. I have however successfully returned to stock using this method. The only issue that remained is that "Your Bootloader is unlcocked" message upon boot.
Can anybody help me fix that / help me lock the bootloader again?

How do I gurantee myself future OTA updates or an unlocked bootloader does not affect the phone's ability to recieve OTA Updates
After unlocking bootloader message is coming your device is corrupt and can't be checked for corruption but after some time I have reverted to stock and relocked OEM using Nexus Root toolkit but even then warning is coming any way to remove this..

It is highly unlikely that after relocking that message would come. Actually, that message could be ignored if your ROM boots fine.
What does the bootloader display about locked status?

Not that. I meant in the bootloader mode itself. Does it display "Device is Locked" or "Device is Unlocked"?

Unlock it again. Go from scratch and flash the factory image using Heisenberg's guide in the General section. After flashing that, see if it solves the issue.
Using toolkits could be buggy at times. I am not against them, but it's good to flash manually, so that you can keep a track on things.

No you can't flash anything with a locked bootloader. Plus, it's entirely impossible for an unlocked bootloader to cause heat issues, that's either placebo or a coincidence (another cause).
PS. The title of this thread is useless, you should describe your issue in the title, not create text faces.

Yes, of course. Infact that's the reason I asked you about the lock status on the first place. Stock ROM with locked bootloader shouldn't give this warning. It should make it go away.
That is why, I asked you to perform a flash manually. Please refer to Heisenberg's guide for the steps.

Yes, after locking the bootloader the message should disappear. But, I'd strongly recommend leaving it unlocked and just dealing with the message. If an OTA ever fails or something else goes wrong you'll need fastboot to flash the factory images to recover your device, you'll be forced to unlock the bootloader, this will wipe the device and you'll lose all of your data because there'll be no way to back it up first.

Sure and then let us know. And keep the bootloader unlocked, it will help you to deal with a few issues (if any), in the future, as already mentioned above by Heisenberg.

There is only one way to get rid of the message, and you have already been told.
The solution is to relock your bootloader. Nothing else will fix it.

It didnt ruin your phone.
Simply reflash the stock images and start over from scratch.
If you root or modify the phone in any way from stock, you will get those messages. They are simply that, messages. They do not affect your phone negatively. Other things you have done (like root, or installing apps from unknown sources) WILL affect the phone.
Flash stock images, relock bootloader and it will be brand new, like the day you got it.
If you dont wish to go back to stock, but want to flash OTA updates when they come out (and you are already rooted) look into using FlashFire.

U didn't understand what I said I have already reverted my to stock ROM and relocked the bootloader but even then message is coming device can't be trusted or may not work properly and I'm not even getting any updates not even April update and all friends got this I'm currently pure stock

I have an unlocked Amazon G4. I used the ATHENE_MPJ24.139-48_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml to update my device and it went through. Now, I want to go back to Amazon stock but I could not find a way to do that.
First, I tried XT1625-Restore-Amazon-Bloat-Ads. My device would not take the image with 'invalid signed image' error.
Then, I tried XT1625-Remove-Amazon-Ads-only-keep-apps. I got 'invalid PIV image' error.
Do I still have option to go back to Amazon stock? If not, how could I get OTA and future Nougat update?

I have the same problem, I tried everything I could think of and nothing seems to work, I downloaded the full Amazon firmware from the Motorola portal and when I install it I get an unauthorized software error, guess I'm stuck and the only updates I can hope for is if the community can come with a working custom ROM.

Yes, bootloader is unlocked, the only firmware that works is the .48 or .49 non amazon

I just bought myself a used nexus 6p and im thinking of rooting it to get some more customization done
Before i only used Samsung phones which had this flash counter thing and then knox that kept the number of flashes to void the warranty and all. Is there this kind of measure on 6p or it's just the same as it was before {no triangles or anything) when i flash stock and lock the bootloader after i change my mind?

No, only samjunk does stupid **** like that.
If your BL is unlocked which it should be if you are on anything other than stock, you will see a warning message each time you boot the phone. And before you act like you have ocd or something, NO that message can not be removed.

I haven't unlocked the bl yet as there was no point since I didn't want to root before I got the answer from you. I know how to read tutorials and I'm very familiar with flashing so that's no probs for me. Doesn't the message disappear after you lock the bootloader? (Just assume that I went to custom ROM didn't like it got back to stock ROM and locked the bl) will the message still be there? Because I think it says 'your phone can't be checked for corruption" but it says so only if the bl is unlocked not all the time after it's been unlocked doesn't it?

Right, it shows that message when the BL is unlocked, once you relock your BL that *should* go away, never tried it because I don't plan on even being back on stock with no root.
If you do any modifications to the device even root, or using a stock custom ROM like we have, it is suggested to NOT relock your BL, while on it. Keep that in mind.
You want to go back to full stock to lock it, then reflash the factory image
