nougart on BTV-DL09: no bluetooth - Huawei Mediapad M3 Questions & Answers

I managed to install nougart on my BTV-DL09. Its now showing a Build number: NRD90 TEST-KEYS (ENG.JSLAVE.20171029.124204). I have twrp installed and its been rooted.
Its quite an upgrade over the MM it came with. I have 4 Samsung tablets and have to admit I surprisingly I like this tablet better than any of them.
I have seen various threads where other users updated and mentioned that they lost bluetooth as well, but haven't been able to find if anyone found a solution yet.
Has anyone found a solution?

ok, in case it helps anyone else. i finally manged to fix it.
It was as simple as using firmware finder and downloading BTV-DL09C229B303 and then flashing both update.zip; then update_data_full_hwjp.zip in that sequence before rebooting. After booting I did need to reinstall twp and flash magisk to get back root.

I have a similar issue. I'm on BTW09 C100B006 and when I upgrade to B352 with FF that's when I get the problem you described. No Bluetooth, updater app, keyboard.
Did you flash the zips through TWRP? I don't have that and don't want to unlock bootloader to get root just to upgrade my OS. If I unzip these files and flash only UPDATE.ZIP in that order, will it work? What about ll the other files in each zip?
What version did you come from?

Yoga 2 - unable to update

Hi.
I have an issue with installing new Android update. Everytime I try to do it, Lenovo Recovery raports "Install failure". Previous updates were installed without any problem, it occured when applying the newest one. Tried reflashing new ROM, downloading it through PC but with no luck. Does anyone know what is wrong?
Thanks.
Try doing a factory reset and then applying the update.
Alredy done.
Flashed older firmware and tried updating previous, with 200MB - without success. Previously, I was able to install it.
Is it hardware problem or something?
i have the same issue, cannot apply latest update hw reset or reflashing firmware does not help...
Same issue here. I thought it was because of cwm root, but it does appear this is not the case. What does this last update change anyway?
I was able to update after restoring the original build.prop file. Lost root though. 8 inch version.
yumms, what did you restore in build.prop file? Only thing I changed is the android build number so I can get 1080p to show up on my youtube.
I used System Tuner Pro, it made a backup of the original build.prop file automatically when i made changes...i simply restored the original file.
can you send me a copy of the build.prop you have? I'm sure I have mine backed up but just to verify. Re-rooting it is simple.
I am having the same problem.. Where do i find the original buid prop file now?
Nm..unrooted, flashed the firmware, and it updated finally..pheww

Nougat Fastboot flash error with system image [Solved]

Marshmallow factory images never a problem flashing. Ever sense Nougat came along I can not flash the system.img in fastboot without getting the dreaded "error: cannot load 'system.img' ". I've tried the trick by adding the extension to flash smaller chucks of data with the command line.
I used flashfire to update with no problem but this takes all the joy of doing it manually.
I know other users have had this problem also. Did anyone come up with a solution for this problem yet? Thanks.
Solved:
Seems that my Platform-Tools program was not updated as I had thought. I had thought it was a "One Button" update type of program but apparently certain parts or updates need to be updated first then other parts can be updated. So long story short for anyone else having this problem make sure the all updates are applied to Platform-Tools.
Thanks for all the help!
Yes this has happened to me and I was stuck almost. I had to load the system image to a otg and flash it in twrp and that's when it would go.
Have you tried flashing using LxMultiTool

I have not tried. I will on next update if I can't find any other fix. I also forgot to mention that I updated all the libs and what not in the Google adb program installed on my PC. Also I used Winrar to decompress the factory image if that makes a difference, it hasn't been a issue in the past with marshmallow.
I suspect you are not running the latest version of platform tools/adb/fastboot. Find the latest version of platform tools and you should be good.

Thanks for the info. I did update to platform tools when nougat was released last month, but will check again. I had the same issue then also. I even installed the 7.0 files. Maybe I'm missing something.
As i said, Download LxMultiTool. It has adb and everything. I flashed latest NRD90U 7.0.0 Stock rom without issues. It also lets you lock/unlock bootloader, sideload files, install recovery
How do you load the system image to otg.?

Solved, thanks guys.

I upgraded to Nougat Manually and it half worked :S

So I followed a tutorial online to install Android Nougat 7.0 on my Huawei P9 lite. Once I was in TWRP I realised I was supposed to install two update files from two different .zip files. Trouble is I only had the one update on my phone at the time. I didn't want to exit TWRP at that stage because I already installed one of the update files.
When I booted my phone after the update, it all seemed to be working with 7.0 installed. Then I noticed my internet data wasn't working outside of wifi, and my bluetooth isn't turning on. The rest seems to be running fine other than those two things.
I rely a lot on bluetooth and internet on the go. I need it back, does anyone know what I could do, outside of factory reset?
Thanks
factory reset wouldn't help, you need to reflash update.zip and data_full.zip AT SAME TIME without rebooting

Okay, I realised that just now. Trouble is I am having trouble booting into TWRP now. I just get "your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted." with an orange web link.
For some reason my phone says in the settings that I'm still on android 4.3 although the ui and functionality is 7.0. Also, the EMUI is 2.0. I don't know how I got TWRP working before but I think there's a conflict due to it half being 7.0 so recover won't boot. I have tried loads of tutorials online but none of the rocovery.img or twrp.img files are working.
have the exact same problem, on android 4.3 and stuck.
from what i understand to dload a working stock rom, you need to have the correct oem info that matches the recovery stock rom. i cant flash any OEMinfo as i cant get root from revolution recovery.
no access to Data partition either.
no other recovery's to install as its the only one for nougat.
So i need help for this issue too.

I fixed it! It was more simple than I realised. I used the dload folder method; Placing the update.app into a folder called 'dload' on an sdcard. Then holding power, both volume buttons to initiate the update.
Thanks for your help guys!!

Install European Nougat FW in tablet from another zone

Hi.
After reading many threads, I can say I haven't found the answer to my issues, so I wanted to ask you guys for some help with this:
I bought a latin american BTW-W09, and since we haven't received the Nougat update yet, I tried using Firmware Finder and install the American FW (Full OTA C128). I used the "dload" method, but after a few tries I just got to an incomplete install (No working Bluetooth, many system apps missing, including Updater). I panicked, and found a way to rollback to MM, using the European FW (C100).
I'm now on MM (BTV-W09C100B0006) and everytime I try to upgrade to N, I get the same results: Bluetooth is broken and missing system apps.
Keep in mind, I've tried using 3 different methods: HiSuite/Firmware Updater, Firmware Finder/Proxy in the tablet itself and I've even unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP (Greatslon mod) and flashed the Zip files.
So after all of that...
Is it possible to update using files from another region?
Thanks a lot

can not found file flash_all_lock.bat error

Hi,
Two weeks ago I unlocked and rooted my mi a1 (which was running android pie v10.0.3.0.) with magisk. When I saw the January update was released, I wanted to unroot the phone and I uninstalled magisk. However, the phone rebooted and there was only “no command” screen.
Now I wanted to flash the stock rom to save my phone by flashing the stock rom again, but as you may know, Xiaomi hasn’t released the official android pie firmware on its website. And I can’t go back to Oreo firmware due to anti rollback protection.
I found several v10.0.3.0 firmwares on the internet and downloaded them. However this time I’m having trouble while flashing the stock rom via Mi Flash Tool. When I wanted to flash the firmware, Mi Flash Tools gave error “can not found file flash_all_lock.bat” or any other bats. When I checked the firmware files, there were _Flash_lock.bat, _Flash_.bat, _Flash_erase_userdata_lock.bat and _Flash_erase_userdata_lock.bat files.
Any ideas how I can sort this problem out? Any immediate assistance will be much appreciated.
Thanks

I tried but no success. Maybe I'm doing wrong to use mi flash tool. Maybe I should just try to use bat files through fastboot, I don't know. I haven't found any information on the forum or google if I can do it like that.

i'm by no means an expert and my advice has no value at all, but i don't see why you wouldn't give flashing from fastboot a try.
1: Those firmware are not meant for miflash, flash using twrp
2: Don't use the script that locks if you wanna avoid trouble.
What directory did you select in miflash?

I downloaded 3 copies of 10.0.3.0 firmware from different places and each one claimed those firmwares were for fastboot, not twrp. I attached the folder's screenshot.
