Hello,i just bought a used note 3,rooted it and installed Note 8 Rom on it.The only problem is the battery drain. When the screen is locked, battery doesnt drain at all, which is excellent, even when listening to music and screen is off.The problem is when i unlock it and start to use it.Battery goes down quickly, and I only get around 2 hours SOT.Could you help me a bit? Maybe theres a liter and better rom.Im using Note 3 International n9005 Snapdragon version. Thanks in advance
Buy a new battery.
Roms take a week or more to enable battery.
Their is no better rom as battery has nothing to do with rom.
Best battery life flash stock rom.

Hey guys, I've got an international Galaxy S4 i9505. My main problem is that my whole fully charged battery drains in normal usage in 12-16 hours (in idle my system can drain 30% in 5-6 hours). It is very hard to work with my phone like this. ( I had an Xperia Z1 and it was awesome and I was able to work 2 days continuously). Is worth it to flash custom ROM and a custom Kernel, which could help me increase battery life? Maybe you cloud help me to choose some of them.
My main problem is the security...i am working with some banking programs on my phone, and I am afraid that the custom system would stole some information about me.
Thank you very much for your help

I get 3 and a half hours on Wifi and almost 2 h in 3G. why this is happening? It dont suppong to be awesome on this device? I have installed the DR Ketan Custom ROM L22 from day one.
the battery dont look fat or anything like that..
AND the battery dont look fat or anything like that.. just in case you are wondering
Google spsd wakock. Look at your bbs and long press to copy and paste in Google. Is that hard? Or did you do it at all?
Thats GPS related. One of your apps keeps requesting your location from the GPS. Regardless of whether you have locationservices enabled or not.
There's no way to tell which one, so you're going to have to delete or disable apps one by one until you find the culprit.

Hey there. My friend sold his soul to devil and bought himself Iphone 6s.
He was planning to sell his note 3 but I told him to give it to me for a few weeks to see if it works well.
I completely wiped everything and flashed stock rom from odin. I wanted to try out some custom roms but there seem not much to try with n9000q version.
Anyway the thing overheats in a few minutes and battery acts stupid. While it is at 80% device reset itself and boots with 45% battery left (so it says) then climbs back to 57-58%. Then resets again and come back with 1%
It overheats around its camera. I am wondering if replacing battery would solve these problems or not.
Not more than likely .
Hello, I have got a Note 3 N9005 with android 5.1.1 Blisspop v4.0.3 Nightly ROM installed. Now I don't know if it's just coincidence or so but my batterynlife is just terrible since I flashed a new ROM. I already own this phone for a year btw so that could also be the case. I just took it of the charger and then I checked and it said it would last for 2 HOURS! I have been going for about 20 mins now and it already dropped 20%. I bought a new battery, but that is just worse (I did read that you have to use and charge a new battery a few times and it would get better). My battery has no bulge. Is it the battery that's bad or the ROM and should I then flash back to stock firmware?
Wow, wait, let me get my crystal ball...

Most AOSP Roms are overclocked up to 2.7 -2.8GhZ. (Normal Stock clock speed is 2,3Ghz)
Use any Kernel tool from Playstore like Kernel Audiutor to change this to 2.,3 Ghz (I was also wondering but since i found out that AOSP based ROM are overclocked on note 3 I imdetialy changed back to Nornal Clockspeed)
Afte this your device should be cooler and you batterylife also longer...

Apart of what already have replied you, you could also try downloading any battery monitor app to try guessing if it's an app or it's the system itself who is draining your battery. In case it's any app, the solution is easy, try reinstalling it, if it's not, then you should try making wipes and reinstalling the rom or try another rom.
Hope this can help you.
What were you doing with the phone in the 20 minutes? Something is definitely wrong if its drained that quick. Can you post battery status and wake locks.

Redmi Note 2 Is good mobile with low price ??? Everthing from Good to Excellent Except battery bad Why ?????????
After Several Trials For Days I Found The Main Cause
1 - Bad Calibrated Battery Or Bad Battery Sensor
Solution : Leave the Mobile connected to the charger one or two hours after complete charge
2 - Miui rom not optimized
Solution : Update to miui 8 or better use custom rom like aurora rom or any cm based rom
now from 1.5 SOT to more than 5 SOT !!!
Hasn't worked for me... I keep the ROM updated with xiaomi.eu's developer version, and always leave the phone charging during night, still only 2.5 to 3 hours sot.
the same with me. The new Thread in the Miui Forum let me hope, that theey will fix this problem. I buyed too a Redmi Note 3 Battery and will try, to hack it, that I can use it in RN 2

Pay attention while playing with batteries!
to my opinion it depends most of the rom... i use rom builder from http://mi-globe.com/ and its working good:good:
Install govtuner from xda, ir works
If you stick a small quartz crystal to the back of your phone, centered on the battery. it will resonate in harmony with the battery and the available energy will magnified 10 fold.
If you still need more, install at least 3 battery saver apps to get around 10hrs SOT.:laugh::laugh:
More Details
I use :-
Auroa Rom
Brightness 10-15% most of the time
Disabled all startup programs except whatsup and truecaller (no face , no twitter .....etc)
no gps no bluetooth
if wifi on ... mobile data is off and vice versa
first sim is 2g and shift it to 3g when mobile data is needed
----------------
After all that
zero battery loss during standby (125 Hours Standby)
5 hours SOT (Browsing and whatsup no games)
ScreenShot Of battery !!! Amazing !!!

Does that language date back to the stone age?
