Hi Guys,I recently bought Moto g5 plus.I unlocked it to use custom roms and I tried 3-4 ROMs.But I got this strange issue : in-call volume (earpiece) is too high and this issue was there all the ROMs.
Anyway to fix this?
And am I the only 1 to face this issue
This is not an issue. Its more of an advantage. The earlier builds of the G5 plus ROMs had very low in-call volume, which is now resolved.

I've bought Deltaco bluetooth speaker, and it worked good some time. But after I installed cm13, the volume is very low. I was on Revolution s5 rom, later on ressurection remix 6.0 and now on sixperience s7e. And in all roms sound remained the same - very low. However on my samsung galaxy s2+ with cm13 it works well. I tried unpairing, factory reset, etc. So can anyone help me?
Btw volume is low on my Sony Smartwatch 3 too.
Hi everyone,
Has anyone noticed the headphone volume is low in the stock software? I have compared this to my old Samsung Galaxy 3 and the Nova Plus could use a bit more volume.
I wonder if this is a known issue and if it has been fixed in Lineage OS or the Nougat beta.
PS: I have tried several headphones, earphones
Thanks
Churrazo.
Dear folks,
Currently I have installed custom ROMs on my X Pure to experience Android 7.0 Nougat beforehand.
However, I cannot bear the terrible audio quality my phone offers now. Loudspeakers reduced it original volume down to about 60% compared to stock. And when plugged in a headphone, there was almost no bass to all songs :crying:
It there any way I can regain those things back please? Any help?

It's a current problem with all Nougat ROMs.
There's a fix somewhere in the dev forums. I'll edit in the link once I find it.

Switch back to stock??? You can also try v4a.
I've created a fix
Not sure what kind of volume problems people are having with Nougat ROMS. I'm on CrDroid and I don't have this volume problem. I do have Dolby Atmos installed if that makes any difference. My problem is when using speaker during phone calls, the other person cannot understand me cause it echos.
Hello guys, i'm in a big problem. I rooted my moto g4 plus and used pixel experience android oreo 8.1 rom 64 bit. Everything is working in a good condition. I played music with or without headphones. But when I received a call, neither the sound was coming nor my sound was going. What should I do ? Please help me.

That's a known problem of this rom(search the rom thread for "call"). There's also mentioned to use unofficial build or another rom.
Anyways, change the rom and calls are working :good:
I have clean flashed following ROMs on Xiomi Prime 3s, all had different in call earpiece volume.
MIUI 9.6.1.0 had a very low volume, just enough to hear in a quiet room. I was sure that something was wrong with my earpiece and was about to go to service centre.
Nitrogen Oreo same as above. I tried changing mixer-paths.xml values in both ROMs but did not work.
Bootleggers Oreo was loud which surprised me and which actually got me thinking on this line that may be this is a ROM related issue.
Loudest and satisfyingly so was Frankenrom Oreo on which I am today.
So how come when you clean flash various ROMS you get so much variation in in call volumes on the same device?
Any thoughts?
