Hi everyone,
Network signal guru is not working on rooted Oneplus 5. It shows the details and all but i wanted to use its Lte Band Locking functionality. However Lte band option is not visible in the options list.
or else if anyone could point to the correct secret menu code for this phone for native lte band selection?
or some other app which can force lock onto specific lte bands on this phone?
Thanks

My phone can't connect to my current carrier LTE band. I have done some research and my carrier LTE Band is 17. The problem is that when I try to find how to enable it, it only appears solutions for previous models such as M9 or M8. Is there a way to enable LTE band 17 in this phone? (Also, my knowledge in this matter is low, but I my phone is rooted)

This is the only thing that worked for me on Galaxy Note 8. And to be honest, I prefer disabling unwanted bands than locking to a single band anyways! Thanks a stack mate
hello guys,
I just purchased HTC U Ultra last week and it's very good.
I get 138mbps download speed with LTE band 1, but the problem is I can't choose the band, it keeps changing between B1, B3, and B28.
I found Guru Network Signal application can change the LTE band, but root is required.
How can I get this root for HTC U ultra??
Is there a way to change the LTE band without a root?
There are detailed rooting tutorials online, I suggest using Magisk as Super user.
Band Lock works with Network Signal Guru (confirmed that).
Although the Radio capability is very limited Like on the Google Pixel (2) (XL).
Hi, I have the LTE version of this tablet. The problem is I live in an area where the signal is really bad for the most part, however, if I swap to band 14 I get really good signal on my phone. However my tablet does not have the dialer app and I haven't found a way to put it in it to enter the service mode to band lock. The LTE in my tablet is basically useless in my area since I can't change to the only good band there is. Does anyone know a way or method to BAND LOCK the S5E?
Is there a way to determine the current band (LTE/UMTS) that I am using with a stock phone without root? I tried the service menu (*#lgmenu#*910#) but I don't see any options available to select LTE band.
I don't know about the H910, but on some variants, in the hidden menu, you go to Field Test -> Modem Settings, and you can see an LTE Band Selection menu there. However, if there is no reset option, then I don't think it's safe to mess around with the bands there since you could be stuck on a single LTE band.
For checking what current band you're on, you can use one of those network signal analysis apps like LTE Discovery, Network Cell Info, or SignalCheck. Their main functions should work without root access.
