So for some reason my screen won't rotate into landscape mode. I have the rotation setting turned on but nothing happens. And when I try to calibrate my sensor, the settings app force closes. Any ideas?

Just stock 12b. I'm beginning to think it might be the modem. Because I was lending a hand a experimenting with the 24a kitkat build for the VS980 and had to flash a kk modem to be able to boot into the build. Do you think the modem would screw with rotation settings?

Yes it's definitely the modem I've read some people tried the kk modem and in order for rotation to continue to work had to continue using the kk modem or downgrade via flashtool

How do you downgrade via flashtool? I just went into recovery and flashed the 12b modem and rotation still doesn't work.

Flashing back an old radio works fine for me, have you tried that? no need to use LG flash tools if you can simply just flash the modem via recovery.
Going to try the kk modem I flashed yesterday.

I had an issue where I was on cm11 with rotation working completely fine and then decided to try a stock KitKat ROM. After reverting back to cm my rotation was broken. I tried everything you could imagine aside from going through the whole starting from scratch bs.. So I tried one last thing and it worked! I simply flashed my stock T-Mobile modem that's supposed to break rotation but funny enough it fixed it! Try that and see if it helps from now on.
I have flashed a custom aosp ROM(paranoid android) and now I'm having signal problems and I have no signal what so ever in areas where I had LTE before. Please help. I have also tried flash other ROM and the problem still occurs.

Go back to stock and do ##72786# and try to flash again see if that works.

Or you could just do what so many other android device users do and cut your losses, choosing a rom that works over one that almost works . I have always had weird signal problems with most CM roms.
Hello guys,
I was using the a custom rom and everything was working fine.
However, I got back to stock installing by TWRP, (this rom is without knox and not rooted. ) then now, my wifi and Nfc is not working.
Can anyone help me?

What kind of custom rom you were using?
Now im using a stock, however, I did not installed by Odin. I found one flasheable by custom recovery.
PS: My devide model is n900w8.
And I found a few versions of roms stock, however, all that have a same bug, force closes and reboots. I tried install by Odin, and also flasheable, and got a same problems. Roms for n900w8 is all a trash.
I found a ROM stock flasheable for n9005, and its working fine, but WiFi and NFC is not working.

If I have a custom rom (cleanrom) loaded on my verizon note 3 with safestrap, would I have issues using a tmobile sim card? Do I need to have the stock rom loaded in order for it to work?
Thanks
No you'll be fine I just sold my Vzw Note 3 and it had Alliance rom on it when I switched to Tmobile. Worked perfectly only thing you might have to do is change some APN settings but that's it.

I suggest try a factory Reset first before trying to flash Modem
Same here. As soon as I flash SuperSU, VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling stop working.
Flashing stock ROM gets it working again.
