2. read the rules of the XDA forum

Hey everyone,
Just thought a comment was warranted on the utterly incredible and beautiful Voices of Nature Alarm ringtone. It has got to be, without a doubt, the best alarm clock sound that I have ever used and waking up to it is like waking up to go back to sleep.
It is fantastic.
Sorry, I'm not sure if anyone else is thinking this too, or if it is just me. But wow. LG well done you have truly beaten all the competitors with this ringtone of utter beauty.
I don't think your impressions about the alarm sound is a reason to write this on the forum and if it is, this is wrong topic. Chill out, this is only alarm sound.

I would usually agree with you, however, lots of reviews focus on clock speed and screen size and while you could download the ringtone some place else, this is indeed a fantastic part of the phone for me. If you don't like the thread then move on.
For some of us, the alarm clock is a very important app and part of the phone which is used several times throughout the day. Looking at the cyanogen mod tones I think it is worthy to mention something that LG may or may not have put a lot of effort into. Perhaps it is a feature which isn't noticed by many, but LG has clearly put effort into it and I think it deserves a mention.
I understand you very well. Its the best waking up sound out from a phone.
I totally agree! From the perspective of a musician (and developer), I think it's a work of art, and found this post trying to figure out who wrote it.
When I was on my Samsung phone I had the Game booster app that was able to tweak resolution for specific apps and games, which was pretty cool because it allowed better performance and battery saving when using gfx intensive apps. However I can't find anything similar for non Samsung phones that actually works. Any suggestion would be much appreciated because that odd little feature is pretty much all I miss from my Samsung days.
Currently running CM13 so I don't care if it requires root.

I'll keep looking and if I find something I'll report back here.
Thanks dude !
Been playing today with this brand new apk still under development by the famous Developer Chainfire and it works!
Colors and other things like display frequencies are customizable, some limitations with AOD for now, well, try it. I like it.

This seems like a much better use of the LED than simply showing battery percentage. Already seems to work pretty good!

Must have app. It's great [emoji16]

Just got a Mi 9T and trying to decide on which ROM to laod onto it? I have Pixel Experience+ on my Mi 8 Se which I like, after something similar.
I've noticed there's no official PE for this phone, likewise with LineageOS. Where these are "unofficial", what are the downsides to not having official support for a device? Are either likely to become official?
Evolution X 2.0 also looks quite interesting but I need to look into it a bit more.
So, what are others using? I'd like to get the near stock experience I got from PE+ along with the device being nice and snappy without hammering the battery more than it should.

Only downside is that if the person who make the port decide to stop doing it, move on to another device or if life become too busy.. the ROMs will not be updated, where Official ports you kind of have updates for sure.

Apparently still too short Unofficial versions often have much better support.

They do, but he asked the downside
The only one i can think is that if who compile/maintain move on the ROM become "abandonware".
but i agree, unofficial is better.
Running official havocos 2.9 at the moment, seems pretty good
Has anyone found a guide to safely remove some of the bloatware that comes on our devices? All these meaningless Samsung apps that won't break core functionality? Would be a good speed boost, I have disabled what I can but ultimately would like to remove all those and a bit more.

I know how to it, I'm more looking for a list of safe to remove apps that someone has compiled with this specific device.
Thanks
Search Samsung bloat list on XDA and do it [emoji6]
