G935P Sprint S7 Edge Romming & Rooting. - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

So I know I have attempted to root and rom my galaxy s7 edge, but I believe the last time I tried to do so I bricked the phone and ended up having to go back to Sprint to get it fixed.. I have the SM-G935P variant of the Sprint Galaxy S7 Edge and I'm wondering if anyone here knows a tremendous root method to use and an outstanding rom to go along with it. I really don't want to brick this thing again but I miss being able to rom since I used to own the HTC HD2. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

G935W8 Root

Hey.
Switching from an S6 to the 7, im trying to read up on the root process but im finding threads with stuff like this particular iteration is prone to bricking because of some DM thing, im just looking for the most straight forward rooting procedure for the Telus branded s7 Edge.
I remember my s6 being a legit 1 click root, but it seems like its back to doing it manually for this one.
Thanks in advance

What ROMs are compatible with the Verizon model SM-G935V Galaxy S7 Edge?

I just returned back to an android phone after 5yrs, and just purchased the Galaxy S7 Edge from Verizon. I just achieved root, but is my understanding correct that the bootloader is still locked so no custom ROMS yet? Sorry for the noob question, but if someone could shed some light on this after being away from Android scene for so long, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Installing Stock T-Mobile ROM on AT&T N4

Hello everyone!
I really hope this doesn't break any rules, and doesn't automatically get removed! I just joined this website in hopes of getting some help regarding my girlfriend's phone. She has a Samsung Note 4 (SM-N910A) that was originally AT&T and was recently unlocked (no idea how!). She attempted to setup WiFi calling with no avail, and I assume its because everything on it is still AT&T. I tried to look into how to install the stock T-Mobile items, but I'm COMPLETELY lost. If anyone has some basic info I'd really appreciate it! Not looking to do anything else with the phone aside from that.
Thank you so much in advance!

To do that you need to flash T-mobile based rom and your phone must be rooted.but sadly you have AT&T variant and there is no root method available until now.
My best suggestion will be swap your device with unlocked T-mobile variant.
Hey AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 who is still in Android Lollipop who can temporary root with KingRoot and who has a Windows PC.
If you have a computer, and if you can root with kingroot Use the batch file on a Windows based computer. And please create the unbrick image
Please, for everyone who has a bricked AT&T Note 4
And link me to the unbrick image
Heres the files,

S5 lollipop upgrade question

I rooted My S5 with this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...oot-method-t3561529/post71202995#post71202995 but now I can't get Samsung cloud, Samsung Sync or Samsung backup to work. I have search the Web for a stock ROM to extract those files from but no luck. Is there a way to upgrade to Marshmallow 6.0 and still keep root? The link that I used says you can flash Marshmallow but will loose root.
I would be happy with a rooted stock Marshmallow and may get back the Samsung account.
So my question , "Is there any way to upgrade from rooted lollipop to a rooted Marshmallow ? This link says you can, but I am not sure if it will work with the Toshiba chip.http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...0v-verizon-on-marshmallow-6-0-1-firmware.html
Can anyone give me some thought and advise ?
Thanks for your time.
Scotty
Nah bro that won't work you will get stuck on the Verizon screen with the Toshiba chipset but here try this link maybe it can help you out kind of bc this is the closes you're going to get to root on Verizon's locked bootloaders https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...ow-to-flash-custom-6-0-1-roms-locked-t3393943
Thanks GUNSEY101, atleast now I know for sure and not just guessing and wondering. I think it is about time to trash this phone and buy a new one.
This one has been a pain in my bottom ever since I bought it.
Thank you for the help and clearing up the rooted MM delima.
Scotty
No problem dude glad I could help the sm-g900v is a great phone......When it doesn't have the Toshiba chipset otherwise you're right it's a pain so I'd say get a new one hahaha
Up that Toshiba chip is the downfall of the phone. I like the S5 a lot and have tried to live with it because I don't think the S6 or s7 is really a upgrade. So I don't really know what phone I will get but it will not be a Verizon.
Thanks again for your help
Scotty
Oh yeah I love my S5 luckily it doesn't have the Toshiba chipset haha and yes the Toshiba chip kinda ruined it bt Verizon has a huge stick up there asses hahaha and Meh I'd say s7 is a bit of an upgrade due to the fact they found a way to root 7.0 however it's very experamental right I'd say https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s7/how-to/how-rooted-s7-nougatand-fixed-lag-t3576393

Reflash Galaxy S7

Hi guys, I really hate to be this guy..
Can someone point me to a THOROUGH thread with details on reflashing my s7? I tried yesterday with the research I found here and almost bricked my phone.
I have an AT&T SM-G930A that I would like to switch to Sprint, so I was hoping to just flash the unlocked Rom and ditch bloatware.
I have Odin 3.13.1, and I found some firmware files I thought would work on a thread here but I either missed a step or... honestly I haven't even touched this stuff since I rooted a phone in high school. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
**moderators if this is breaking rules posting here I am sorry I am just completely lost**
