7.12.7_7.1, after that, my movile bootloop every 30 secons more or less
Now, when i turn the mobile on, it tells me that the SIM is blocked, but I tried the SIM in another mobile and it works

A/B partition are there so if device is stuck in bootloop it should boot from dormant partition.
You have to flash stock firmware.

Try flashing the persist.img from every build that exists till now. If you manage to flash one of them the issue will be fixed. I've tested it myself.

Please just follow the guide here to get it fixed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/how-to/ota-official-fastboot-image-n2g47h-7-12-t3728929
As it includes all necessary scripts for proper flashing it is secure to use
In worst case, you can also use the appropriate included script to factory reset at the same time when flashing. If nothing else helps, that should do the trick for you

I tried flashing persist.img, and it works!!!
Now I have 2 differents problems.
When I start my mobile, the SIM Pin page shows the message SIM CARD IS LOCKED - NO SERVICE. My sim works in another mobile
When I pu my pin, I get the message "preparing sdcard - Solving errors"

Please just do a full clean flash as recommended by me earlier and your issue should be gone. At least if they are firmware or software related.

After that do a clean flash and that issue should be fixed.

Excuse me. What do you want to say with "do a clean flash"?

Follow the guide I linked for you above. You have to use the flash_all script. So please have a look and give it a try.

Shooting blindly here.
Have you tried another sim in your phone.
If another sim card works then have you tried changing your sim from carrier. It's easy.

Have you also tried a factory reset?

Yes, and I flash boot and persist too. I think that it's possible a error with any .img inside my phone, but i don't now ...
My phone show me the page with de SIM Pin. I put the correct Pin, and after that phone don't connect with the network. I can't call because it's without service.
I tried the same SIM in another phone and it works. I tried diferents sim in my phone and all of them fail
Please, someone has any idea about what I need to do
Thanks

Have you tried the script to flash the full stock rom flash_all from https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/how-to/ota-official-fastboot-image-n2g47h-7-12-t3728929 here as well? If you only flashed the persist.img until now, you should give it a try.

If is not hardware, chances are that the efs folder is corrupted.
Try a different kernel
Try a different modem
Flash full wipe custom rom again..
Last flash stock rom...
If all fails the problem most like it is in the efs folder, if you have a backup restore it

Glad is working mate
Back up before you do anything else do not forget to backup the efs folder
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
same issue.
I have the same issue as described by the op.
I flashed back to official 4.4.2 and the problem persist.
IMEI number is correct.
IMEISV is 01
Ive been trying to fix this for over a week to no avail. Losing my mind. Is there anything else you can suggest to fix this issue?
Phone is an i9500.
Was really hoping for some help by now. This will be the second time ive posted to this site in the 2 years ive been here with zero responses.
As a side note. I wanted to add that at the same time i started having the "not registered on network" error my sd card stopped being read by the phone also. I replaced the sim/sd holder in the phone itself hoping this would fix both issues but it has obviously not. Still not reading the sd. Says its blank or unrecognized file system. When i try to format it it doesn nothing. This is the sd I had in the phone before having issues. It worked fine then.
The phone just suddenly stopped working one morning. I used it to send a couple text and make a call, next time i picked it up "not registered" issue began. No changes to the phone in between those times.
I figured I would add this info in hopes of gaining a response.
Thanks.

Lost IMEI and No Sim error

So I've been on the PureNexus rom since I got my phone last week and all has been great. Decided the flash Francisco's Kernel in which I needed to move to a systemless supersu. Did all that and the phone worked great until I kept getting a Google Play Services error. Tried to flash the PureNexus rom back over to get rid of the error and now I have lost my IMEI which seems to be why I have a "No Sim" error and lack of data.
I made a backup of my EFS partition using THIS guide and restored it through TWRP, however, no IMEI is being displayed. Backed up everything on my phone just in case but any thoughts on what I should do to recover?
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.
Edit: Just to make sure there was no issue with my sim, I tried another one that was verified to be working and no success.
Factory restore and re flashing the bootloader took care of this exact problem for me. I have no idea how or why that happened, but it worked.

If turning lockscreen security off temporary and rebooting doesn't work do the above recommended flashing stock. Maybe backup your phone completey and wipe internal. This has never failed me many times with stubborn bugs.

I was able to flash this, but I'm afraid my problem is a bit more... problematic.
What I did was copy that downloaded file to my phone then flash it through TWRP. This then creates some blank modemst1 & 2 files that you have to copy to your computer then send them back to the right partitions via fastboot command.
My problem, which I believe a lot of people are having is not just corrupted files, but the efs partition and baseband is corrupted. That's why we keep getting "no space" "permission denied" etc.
I'm able to "fastboot erase recovery" but no success for radio.
Still trying to figure this out.

''no service'' or ''no sim-card inserted''

sorry for asking so many questions here...
so i've just installed the stock rom back on my motorola X play
everything works! except one thing:
the Sim-card
i am 100% sure the sim card works since i have tested it already on a other phone

first remove the sim pin-code and clear cache from recovery and see if it detects. if it doesn't work see if you have twrp backup of previous rom on which you were on, and restore the backup.
or flash any new rom and see if it detects the sim.

I don't know which rom to try,
at first I mistakenly flashed the Asian dual-sim version. but the sims didn't work at all, no detection no nothing.
later I tried the correct version from Europe, and the Sim got detected but it didn't wanted to be used. atleast the phone didn't
I've the same problem. I just flashed correctly stock version of system, but I didn't notice that it is version Dual SIM. Then I wanted to flash CM 14.1 but unfortunetly modem doesnt work. I've tried flashed once again modem of stock version and it result i could input my pin code, but in settings I see that radio is off.
EDIT: I want to add that after noticed CM 14.1 modem doesnt work, I've flashed stock one sim modem. But device still recoganize that my XT1562 is dual sim. Is there any adb/fastboot command which could fix my issue?

I've figured out that it's my IMEI number that's missing but I can't acces the ADB commands, maybe you are having a lucky day.
If you still have the original box you could find your IMEI number and fix it with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/steps-how-to-recover-bad-imei-t3171452
but please becareful with this solution I don't know if it's 100% compatible with android 6.0

I would try reflashing the modem, making sure you're using the latest twrp 3.1.1 and that system is mounted before flashing.

I sometimes get problems just after flashing, and GSM/Wifi 5Ghz take up to 5 minutes to initialize. Deactivating and reactivating the sim card helps. Did u try that?
- Else, I'd get a 7.1.1 factory image and start over, that baseband is *exactly* the same as mine and I only have that "5-minutes-without-wifi-and-network" bug.
- Try looking for wifi just after booting the phone : if you only see 2.4Ghz networks and no 5Ghz network, just turn the sim car off and on, and it's ok, just that bug.
reflash a full stock firmware, if you have imei, you must have then, then if you want, do the process again to get twrp
Hi Folks,
i've done some reading and my problem is a broken EFS sector due to TWRP recovery.
Even after manual IMEI restore, the EFS is broken and causes the no service issue:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/investigation-recovering-efs-twrp-t3522171
Only option is to get a EFS copy from another device, push it on my one and change the IMEI to my own manually.
If efs was ’restored’ using the signed twrp used for unlocking then there is no fix for that.

November update messed up and now I can't update anymore.

So here's what happened:
Got a message to reboot my non rooted Mi A1 in order to finish the november update
Clicked on it and waited for the reboot, which took a while
Screen kept flashing, but mostly a black screen with now and then a flash of my background and the task bar in the top of the screen.
Went to this forum to find answers and solutions
OEM was locked and couldn't access the phone, so unlocking OEM and flashing stock was not an option.
Saw someone mention you can switch the active partition. It was set on B and I changed it to A.
Phone works fine with that option, but the message that the update has failed keeps popping up and it gives an error when I try to redownload and reinstall the update.
If anyone knows what the recommended steps are to fix this issue it would be most helpful!
PS. Also if I have to unlock OEM that means it will wipe the phone right? Any tips on backing up the apps including their user data (meaning I won't have to reconnect authenticators to my phone, won't lose game date etc.)
Try to remove sim and disable PIN.
Hi,
I have also a non rooted phone with the same problem.
