Hello!
Is there any CM or another custom rom for this Galaxy Core Plus?
I can root this phone only so far. Please Help

[Q] Custom ROMs for A5 (SM-A500H)

Hey guys,Just brought a Sasmung A5,its currently on the kitkat rom pre install on my My Samsung A500H so i tried and look for roms,but couldn't find any. My previous phone was Samsung S1 and all roms i flashed are from xda,Thanks devs.
I was wondering if there will be Rom for this device, such as cyanogenmod 12 and more.

I opened it,but seriously did you even read about what variant i was looking for? (SM-A500H)

this is all there is for all versions of a500, they are working on all versions

no its not working on all version. I asked and they said dont flash it has to be flash only on a5f :/

this rom is now for galaxy A5 A500H lollipop,I will work to port it to other A5 varients and I will be happy if any one can help me
the galaxy s6 themed rom, just needs to be uploaded

Yes the s6 one is the only one working i know but i really want to have cyanogenmod for my a5 before any other mod,and the s6 one is not that different of the lollipop update 5.02 with a lot of bugs as its the older release of lollipop.

Ohh thats sad :/. but still ill just be patient for a developer to start to build for my specific device. The A5 can really be a nice successor. I really wish it brings same positive aspect same as the S series. Cause so jealous of samsung series have more developer than us. Anyway Good luck guys.

agreed, its a great phone with great promise, but its problem with this chinesse models and same phone with 4 diff models. You aactually need more develpoers than. I hope it will get better soon, its kinda still new phone, but compared to s series, its better to buy s5 and have tons of roms, if you are in to that stuff.I had same problem with htc desire 820, chinesse phone with no develpors, tons of models and 0 roms

What to do,i really wanted that phone for premium touch and now i have to stay with it.no worries i know and im sure a developer will make their way up for this device.it still new as you said,so gotta wait for roms (im so much into that) :'( Good luck again devs. Thank you in advance

We feel so unlucky to see roms for other A5's but not for our specific variant (A500H) :'( So sad

Which model's ROMs are compatible to n910w8?

Because the stock on the Canadian Note 4 is really laggy, I searched for some custom roms and haven't found that many for the N910W8, but there tons for other models, which one will most likely be compatible with this one?

Not that Galaxy S1 laggy, it's that I've been using galaxy j1 mini before and it felt snappier

All roms are compatible you will require to flash custom kernel & datafix with the rom that works for your model.
Only aosp roms like cyanogenmod and lineage os required based on your model they cannot work from other models.

N910W8 and N910T custom ROMs are compatible with each other. Other N910 ROMs, you will need to flash the kernel and datafix. Search or google is your friend. As the other post, if you just want to fix "laggy", maybe you should clear your cache and/or reset your phone.

[ROM] [7.1.2] [UNOFFICIAL] LineageOS 14.1
You'd be looking for the trltetmo variant that is also compatible with the SM-N910W8. I build daily for that variant. I also recommend the latest bootloader and modem (BL_CP), see my signature for links.

Yeah its working pretty well, my only problems are that the front photo camera is very dark at low light, and there is not S Pen app.

Ok so I havent done this in awhile & kinda rusty
My phn isnt even rooted anymore & forget the steps.

Grabbed TWRP
And N910W8VLS1DQD1_N910W8VLU1DPI2.tar
I'm guessing before I do anything I have to root the phn 1st then install TWRP back up phn,wipe, then flash the .tar then load Lineage ?
Or lineage then the .tar.. Or does it matter which is done 1st..?

There are 3 roms currently on j510fn port which one is

Krako is the only that has r3 kernel all the others have r2

I did not like one of the three rums. The best cast is A5UX v8.1 . 7.1.1 the worst android

the best is RR oreo which didnt released yet for j5
i hope someone do it better than developing same port rom for same j5 with same kernel

Best rom is krako v2, the most optimised and fastest with good battery rom. And if u are on j500f the sim fix will be uploaded tomorrow.

i tested krako and shivas Rom, I can tell that they're both very good, but krako is on v2 and has a exclusive version of leviathan kernel, so IN MY OPINION, it's better. but I'm using shivas Rom because krako does not have data on my j500m.

On v1 data was working but on v2 were missing some libs for ril (becuz it was made especially for j500fn so thats why) that are very important for j500f and j500m so this is why there was that bug.
But now is fixed because of that fix.

Snapdragon 800 is a popular SOC so devices using it will get the latest ROMs first
Exynos variants are hard to port ROMs to so they mostly consists of modified stock ROMs or rom ports from newer exynos phones
