I was just wondering how people who have them feel about screen protectors.
For one, would people recommend full body protectors or just screen. As well, I have used invisible shield before but for the fuze would the Bodyguardz shield be better? Also wondering if there is a difference in texture between the different protectors, as the invisible shield isn't the most slippery are others better for the touch screen?

colin725, I'm using invisibleShield for my Fuze (Full body). It's living up to it's promise of scratch-proofing my device so far. But the downside is, it has become a lint magnet so I've put it back to my belt holster instead of my pocket.

Yea, and I'm a pocket kind of guy. Guess that rules out full body. I'll probably just pick up an invisible shield screen. Thanks for the feedback.
I have doubts that the invisible shield is the best surface for a touch screen though, I'll probably wait before I decide to get one or not.

The invisibleShield has that rubbery feeling which you won't like the first time when using TF3d, but you'll eventually get a hang of it.
If it was available already for my Fuze, I would really try those Martin Fields screen protectors, simply because it's not messy to apply upon the device.
Goodluck to your 'shield' hunting.
I use Bodyguardz and it sucks. Actually, I don't know of any word that can put it in the right/correct perspective.
I still have a few sreenprotectors that came with the sillicon cases I ordered. I'm gonna use one of those. Bodyguardz work great for overall protection. But it kills the screens responsiveness.

I have the Invisishield full body one and just yesterday took off a few of the full body pieces 'cause it gave the phone a "rough" feeling edge and also seemed to be a dirt magnet. Hard to describe exactly but I wouldn't put on all the little pieces again just the three big ones for the screen, back and d-pad area.
I installed the invisible shield just for the screen and hate it. I really want to get more of the OEM protectors that came with the device..I loved that one but I got a dirt bubble. *sigh*
Cant you wash the OEM one and reuse it?
i tried to peel it up to attempt that and messed up the corner
I have few bubbles between my HD screen and the screen protector and i would like to remove it.
tried with my fingernails but it didn't work. i just can't take out this screen protector and i don't want to damage
my screen by using some sharp tool.
What can i do?

Use some kind of sticky tape. Stick it on near a corner and useit to lift the protector.
Great idea. Thanks.
can you aply the screen protector that came with the HD more then once?
I think you probably could, but would need some an alchohol solution of some sort to reapply.
Personally i have a insivible shield by zagg which protects the whole phone for about £15.
I would suggest trying harder with fingernails, the protector is thicker than you think and i got mine off with a bit of a fight

Personally I thought the zagg one was rubbish. It was very difficult to get it to cover the screen properly and the surrounding chrome bits with one single piece of plastic. I just bought the Clarivue anti-glare screen protector. I'll report on it when it arrives

Yes you can reuse them. Just gently wash the protector with hand soap and water (try not to bend it, keep it flat in your hand) and shake the excess water off and reapply.
A word of caution for those removing the screen protector using sticky tape.. I did that and got the top coating layer peeled off. Cry man...
Word of warning. Do not use WD40!!!

A member had previously posted that he used WD40
His name was arsenalfc who then got banned and returned under a new name deanoyouno. He got banned again after I reported him for posting useless & damaging threads and subsequently all posts/threads by him were removed.....so there was a post orignially before my post which has now been removed.
I have the Invisible Shield fitted to mine , very nice and turns the rear of the phone Glossy Black, installing is fiddly but just be Patient, I had a few Bubbles in mine on the edges of the screen where there is a slight lip but after about a week its dried out and pretty perfect, I would recommend this shield to anyone who wants alot of protection, There are installation video's on the Zagg site which I would recommend watching First as the Palming tecnique on the corners is a must.
Hope this Helps
do they ship to Uk? or can u buy this shield in Uk? not a copy, but the official one, as looks impressive
Yesterday I started thread about if it is possible to scratch the display with the stylus..because i draw on my unit and I love it
And I was little worried that it may happen..people said that it not very likely to scratch but I may happen if some dust comes under the stylus tip or etc...
So I said OK I am cool...didn't apply it because it was too late and went to sleep...but I took my device to play a little more with it and what have I found?? SCRATCH!!! OMG...luckily just a little one but he is there, 455hole..
So today i wanted to apply the screen protector, first time in my life, it was pain the 455, I still couldnt get the bubbles out and blah blah..the nI touched the adhesive side and it got so dirty and ow damn
But as jdlorinser says, I hope it can be cleaned and reapplied...dont want to throw out just like that...
so this is my story
tip..
go to the bathroom,to put on the screen protector..WHY? because it's the most dust free aria in the house.
Don't use the protector that came with the hd,but buy a better one.
I use brando protector...This one is ant scratch, removable and washable...
just a tip.
regards
I got the OtterBox Black Defender Case - MOTOROLA ATRIX (TM) 4G with the belt clip and built in screen protector. I kind of liked it at first but it keeps jabbing me in the side and I wish I could just put it in my pocket but it's too think to do so while sitting down.
So I'm looking to get another case that will mostly protect my phone from scratches and a few bumps here and there. So this means I need a screen protector too. It's hard to tell how the screen protector feels and how the case fits on the phone.
What have you used or seen that you like and why?

I currently use the anti-glare screen protectors that AT&T carries in store. It takes away a little of the brilliance of the screen but I don't mind. I'm also using the Incipio Feather case but for more protection I also did have the Speck Candyshell which fit it really well and did not impede the screen protector. The only reason I returned it was because the "outer-shell" was too smooth for me, I like the rubberized feel of the Incipio.
I have the OtterBox Commuter case on my Atrix. I really like it. It not nearly as bulky as the defender case but still provides seemingly decent protection.
Do these cases keep it from seating on the laptop dock properly?
Seconding the Otterbox Commuter. The naked Atrix felt kinda slippery, the rubber sleeve peeking through the clip on shell makes it feel secure in my hand.

I've been rocking the otterbox impact case with full ghost armor. Works and feels great

As far as the laptop dock, I'm not sure but with the multimedia dock I have heard that the Speck case can fit if the insert is taken out. If you use the laptop dock quite a bit I would go with the Otterbox Impact case because it would be the easiest to remove and put back on.

Yes, Otterbox cases are notorious lint magnets. It's a trade off for the protection.
Has anyone heard about "Skinomi TechSkin", "Great Shield", or "splash Masque"?
They are the ones that you can get off of Amazon.com.
I also have the Incipio feather case, works great so far, and is easier for me to hold on to. I work in a warehouse and from handling boxes all the time its hard for me to keep a decent hold on smooth plastic unless I try to crush it.
As far as a screen protector goes, I have not seen a need for one yet. I forgot I had my keys in my pocket when I put the phone in and didn't get any scratches.

Yea, I feel th same way. I usually take such good care of my phones that I never even get scratches on the screen protector but knowing my luck if I ever tried without one something terrible would happen.
Got the Otterbox Defender for mine. I'll happily have a thicker phone for the added protection.
body glove case
Body glove case seems to be the best fit for the atrix...for me, i.e slim, feels sturdy in hand and removes easily to allow fit with other moto accessories.
Just got the Incipio case and it's great so far. I also have a SGP ultra clear screen protector.
This should be in the accessories forum.
I like to use my phones naked!
Even if they get damage.
In fact, I happen to dislike very much how those protectors make the phone larger in the pocket.
If you know of anything for the Atrix which doesn't make it bigger please let me know.
Gold luck guys.
I also have the Otterbox Commuter case and no screen protector since the display is made out of Gorilla Glass.
Not using a screen protector. Just a bodyglove tpu case. Love it.

Using the skinomi body skin .. it's awesome. applying the back part was a little challenging but i got it down.. I failed on my screen though because I did it in low light.. so I didn't notice i still had some lint on the screen so you can see a little when it's bright.

How does the Skinomi feel on the touch screen?
Hi,
I have had my Acer A500 for a couple of weeks and now the sunshine has appeared, and when i am outside I have major problems seeing my screen.
Is there any thing I can use to counteract this?
I have searched the forums and there seems to be answrs for other tablets, dont really know if the same answers will work for me.
Any help will be greatfully received
there are some anti-glare screen protectors for sale on ebay. I have not tried any of those yet because shipping to Mexico is kind of painful, but looks promising.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Anti-Glare-Scre...?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item2a12766180
Here is my post from another thread on the same topic:
I picked up an anti-glare one made for the xoom from handhelditems.com (store brand). Cost <$7 shipped. Had to cut a hole for the camera and trim it a little, but for the price, I am happy.
Pixelation is noticable, but you get used to it. Haven't had to wipe fingerprints since.
A tip for install: Make sure it is CLEAN first (obvious), but if a little something gets under, peel it back up and use scotch tape to get it off the sticky. Using this trick, my protector went on perfect.

When i am outside, i turn screen brightness from auto to manual, full brightness. Itdoes not eliminate the problem but it is greatly reduced.
I just ordered this for my wife

This is a great product. The screen protector fits great, and there is a cutout for the camera. The screen protector reduces glare and fingerprint smudges alot.
I also found it easy to install, and the best thing was that I was able to salvage the install when I initially installed it crooked.
I normally use SGP protectors, but if you jack up one of those and try to peel it back to fix it, you might as well throw it away.
With this i just used scotch tape to peel it back, and reapplied. No bubbles or dust particles. It looks great and it gives the tab a very nice smooth feel.

I am also another happy camper with that. I did not like the feeling of the original screen (it did not glide well?), with the protector it is a lot better. Althoug it reduces the screen sharpness a bit, which is true for all anti-glare protectors.

I just installed the screen protector from POSRUS (Available on Amazon.com). Works great to kill the glare. The Zagg protector is not really anti-glare.

I have this one too and it really is a great product, except for a little pixelation that I'm not used to yet...
There's another great brand where I often buy screen protectors from: www.brando.com.
I agree with the rest, the POSRus protector is very nice. It's elimated probably 85% of the glare and made the surface a little nicer on the fingertips, they seem to glide across it better. Another good thing is that it goes in dry, some of the others I saw on amazon were like window tint, requiring soapy water on the screen. These are much more forgiving when applying. Just be diligent in getting -all- the dust and hair off the screen right before you put it on and only peel back as much off the red tab layer as you need while applying from corner to corner.
Pardon me if I'm doing something wrong.
I had posted the following text in Nexus 4 Q&A and received 88 views and not one reply.
Just wanted a little help with my situation.
Hello everyone
Okay, So I installed the Google Nexus 4 Case / Bumper Optimized Total Body Skin from Best Skins Ever.
And except for an air bubble the size of a pin hole it came out flawlessly. Very happy.
That is until about three weeks of use with the shell gel case.
First it started to peel at the upper left corner and now at the upper right corner. Not happy.
And after a three and a half foot drop onto slate tile at Starbucks without a blemish. I learned something.
Until something better comes along, changing the case is not an option.
Anyone have experience with a different screen protector and the shell gel case?
I was interested in a hardened glass or something of that nature.
Someone should make a screen/case combo the equivalent to a Casio G-Shock for this fragile beauty.
I'm looking at you Weasel-box.
Anyway, if I posted this in the wrong place and/or did something inappropriate just know that it was not my intention to offend.
Now that I look at it, maybe the OtterBox jab hurt some feelings.
Seriously, any help would be appreciated.
I have the ballistics case and my invisisheold peels up near the front camera every day or so.
Sent from my Nexus 4 @1.5 GHz on Stock 4.2.1
Any plastic screen protector should be fine with the ballistic case.
Invisible shield is a complete rip-off. Get XtremeGuard instead. If you don't like wet apply protectors, get dry ones.
I have this on my phone. And I also have a extra XtremeGuard protector in my desk draw. I have been using XtremeGuard for a very long time and I can say it's top quality.
http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi-TechS...5233&sr=8-1&keywords=nexus+4+screen+protector
Thank you both for the response.
@IRX120 Do you just keep pressing it back into place? That irks the piss out of me when it happens.
@scream4cheese How does the Skinomi feel to you? Closer to glass or that horrible rubbery orange peel that I've come to know from Zagg?
I emailed BSE about my situation on Sunday and quite frankly I thought I was going to get a how-to on reapplying the skin.
Not only did they email me back today, BSE shipped out a complimentary replacement today. No hassle. No questions asked. Didn't even try to hit me up for the shipping cost. Tracy M from BSE was courteous, professional and understanding in resolving my issue. Did not expect that from a screen protector company. If the second skin works, I'll definitely do business with them again. Otherwise, that XtremeGuard or Skinomi.
Regards
Was wondering if there was any new information about this. I have tried both the regular and optimized version for cases and they both get peeled by the Ballistic case.
