Where does S7 Edge save volume levels? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Does anyone know in which file does s7 Edge save volume levels? Like when I touch volume buttons... where is it saved then?

No idea, but it can be helpful to tell us what your goal is as there may be other ways to achieve it. E.g. want to increase number of steps, want to remove high volume warning.
Other useful information: Are you rooted? Custom ROM?

is there a way to increase volume steps? build.prop settings have no effect on samsung roms.

Would love to know of a mod that does that. Have anyone solve this?

[Q] increase the volume of nexus 4 with or without root and

Hello everyone as the title would like to know how to increase the volume of the nexus 4 with or without root and because known that notifications and sound etc. .. is how low, I state that disposistivo is all original with root permissions with version 4.2.2 thanks in advance
Sorry dont understand your post fully but use the volume keys on the side? If you go to settings and sound youll be able to change your volume for notifications, apps, alarms. There will be many apps available on the play store that will allow you to easily change all these from your homescreen. I dont think you have to root.

Hi,
You can use a custom kernel like Faux kernel that include some patches to increase the speaker volume (and also the quality).
You can use an init.d script to tweaks some values or use his app (search for Speaker Loudness from Faux123 on the Play Store).
_motley kernel uses also these patches, maybe another kernel too (I have not looked at all the kernels that are available).
It works great

If you'll install the two apps from this post, the tweakbox app actually has a check box under the phone tab to remove the increasing ringtone.

[Q] Changing the inbuilt button sound

By default, the Galaxy S4 plays an extremely tiresome 'water droplet' sound effect whenever you press most buttons. I know it's possible to disable the sound entirely, but is there any way to change it to something else?
you can change the sound file. but you need root access. its (root)/system/media/audio/ui/TW_touch.ogg

Thanks for the response. How do I go about changing it? Must the replacement file have the same '.ogg' extension? Lastly (on a separate note) is there any way to enable haptic feedback for ALL button presses (e.g. when typing or opening apps)? At the moment my phone only buzzes during calls or when I use the back/home keys. Thanks!

Volume buttons question

If I am on my home screen and I use the volume buttons, it only changes the media volume instead of the notification/ring tone volume like I would expect. The only way I can change the notification/ring tone volume is to go into the sound settings menu and adjust the slider. Am I overlooking a way to change what the volume buttons control?

Apparently, that's how Oneplus has set it to work. You'll have to tweak it with xposed/ custom rom/ magisk mod.

Has anybody found a solution to this annoying as hell problem? How do you make the volume side buttons control the ringer volume? Why is there not a choice? Is it that difficult to for the programmers to fix? It's a simple thing. I hate that when you go into settings and control the volume that way IT PLAYS YOUR F&$KING RING TONE!!! That is so stupid! And don't come back with "use your slide switch above the on/off button" because I want to use my volume buttons. Can anyone help? It sucks having to waste so much time to try and find a solution to such a simple request....
Same here. Any software "fix" that bypasses the slider? I just have a bad feeling about it breaking one day...

use a volume app. Also, if you are putting a request do it nicely, nobody is working for you here. We share what we know and nobody owes anyone anything.
That is how oneplus has designed the volume keys to work so complain on oneplus support.

What volume app? I can't find anything that overrides the slider. Allegedly, oxygen slider (xposed module) might be it, but wanted to confirm if anyone here was successful in doing so.

Try this thread - xposed alternative full working
I don't know which app. It has been a long time so I don't know if it exists anymore.
Ended up finding a little app called "silent mode toggle". Basically puts the phone into vibrate mode, which is all I need. Tasker has similar functionally as well. This bypasses the slider (needs to be in the ring mode).

Just found another solution and posted about it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/how-to-bypassing-slider-to-change-t3958265
