Torch - flashlight application

I had modified standart CM application for flashlight - Torch to work with galaxy ace on ICS/JB
Sources: https://github.com/WaylandAce/android_packages_apps_Torch2
Modified application do not use any camerahal.
Stroboscope function does not work yet
Does it have a widget? like in cm72? (btw: what the hell is stroboscope good for?)

TY for your uncountable effort!!

[Req] Note 3 Assistance Torch Widget !

As The Title Says, Can Anyone Give Me Deodexed Assistive Torch Widget Please
Unfortunately, that's impossible as it is cooked inside the settings application.
I did recreate it for my own use in development, however. (Not as a widget or an application tho)
But even if you get it, it doesn't use android's APIs to turn the flashlight on, i.e. it will only work on the recent Samsung devices (s3 and above) which have Samsung's frameworks.
It also means that it won't work on AOSP ROMs regardless of the device.

Substitute Apps for Non-Stock ROMs

Hello, I wanted to make a proper forum on what people use as their alternative regular apps like gallery or camera on their custom ROM. Guess there was some thing that stock tw did something right.
Please share your ideas

This was my previous most used apps
NEWS APP - Flipboard Gorgeous flip and slide animations, excellent at compiling searched info into your very own personalized magazine
FILE MANAGER - File Manager (Explorer)
MUSIC - Poweramp (The king of the hill)
BATTERY WIDGET - Battery Widget Reborn (Includes proper battery % in the notification bar)
CLOCK - 3D Flip Clock (multi-touch programmable, weather, great look)
LAUNCHER - Nova (Not as flash as some launchers, but still great)
TEXT APP - 8SMS (Simple, crisp and clean, with nice clear pop up notification)
BARCODE SCANNER - ShopSavvy Barcode Scanner (Very quick at capturing scans and showing comparison prices on amazon etc.)
KEYBOARD - Google Keyboard (the swipe is gorgeous, it's quick and very very smart)
WALLPAPER APP - Zedge (includes ringtones and notification tones)
POWER CONTROL WIDGET - Power Toggles (Very customizable and quick)
SCREEN OFF - Screen Off and Lock (a great wee app I put on all my devices, touch and screen off) comes with various off animations but I always use retro tv
BEST COOL APP - Gravity Screen (automation at its coolest)
2nd BEST COOL APP - Light Flow Lite - LED Control (Set up different colours and flash rate and vibration for all your notifications)
LIVE TV (UK) - TVCatchup (Basically live UK tv channels BBC, ITV, C4 etc.. turns your phone into a portable tv)
PIE CONTROL - LMT

Custom Extra Toggles (Just flashlight) available?

I am looking for a way to ONLY add the flashlight custom toggle seeing as most of the other extra toggles do not function properly, and flashlight is the only one I was really interested in anyway.
If I am understanding correctly, I can not simply add the flashlight line in the toggles list, as its not a truly supported functionality. Modifications must be made to the Settings apk.
The currently flashable extra toggles available for OptimalROM/BSFree Stock ROM are identical, so I was wondering if I can edit the script to only include the flashlight modification.

Nougat flashlight

Can anyone comment on the flashlight brightness levels achieved by the update? I ask because I'm rooted on MM, which allows me to use a root flashlight app (see below) that is insanely bright. I use this on a daily basis and (unless the new built-in toggle can match it) losing this will keep me from upgrading to Nougat. It's that useful to me. Losing my preferred version of Google Maps is another big issue, but the phone torch allows me to not have to carry a separate flashlight at work and makes my life simpler.
