Just recently my screen has become offset. It has moved up about ยน/8 th of an inch. Because of this I can't access the icons at the top of the screen and I have a corresponding black space at the bottom. How do I fix this? I did try powering off the phone a couple times. Thanks.

hi guys,
hopefully someone here will be able to shed some light on this problem.
A couple of weeks ago, i noticed that when i had my jasjam in landscape mode, there was a small space on the left hand side that was no longer being used (about 5% of the screen size). I thought this small portion was just blank screen but upon further investigation it turns out that the bottom 5% of the display eg. contacts and calendar hotkey display, is being displayed at the top of the screen.
When in landscape mode you can see the scroll bar which should be at the left hand side of the screen partially showing on the right hand side..
Its a bit of a trippy issue, just a bit annoying is all.
Any suggestions for a fix?
Cheers,
Caiden

Perform a hard reset, hope it'll solve ur problem.
tried numerous times, no go unfortunately.
thanks for the suggestion though..
try to download "multi touch paint" from the market.
draw a line across near the bottom of the screen. you'll find it always below where u touch, compare to a line draw across the top of the screen.

Yup seems to be your the only odd-ball, just kidding i couldnt draw the thing either haha.
I get exactly the same behaviour when I draw a line right over the touch-buttons and when I do the same at the very top edge of the screen, can't see anything that looks misaligned.
I have that issue,too.
That happen most likely when I turn my phone side way and try to access the bottom icon on the home screen. The touch screen has 30% chance to be out of alignment.
the line i draw just slightly below where i touch, that is around 2mm, sleep/reboot won't fix it.
A customer has brought in their Touch Dual with the following problems:
- when opening the slider, sometimes the screen will be flipped horizontally so everything is back to front.
- when opening the slider, sometimes the screen is vertically misaligned so the top Start menu appears a centimeter below where it should be.
- when opening the slider, sometimes the top Start menu appears at the bottom of the screen and the bottom menu options appear at the top. However, pressing the top left corner still shows the start menu, even though the button says something else.
Turning the screen off and on fixes these problems but it happens very frequently.
Also, sometimes, when turning the phone on OR when opening the slider, the backlight of the screen works but the screen itself is blank. I have to reboot the phone (several times) to fix it.
Before I buy a new LCD and flex cable, can you guys suggest what might be the cause of the problem? I don't want to spend unnecessarily.
I have tried a hard reset and have also flashed several versions of Windows Mobile 6.1 but the problem persists. I've also cleaned out the PCB using circuit board cleaner.
As per subject, the top right of the screen (in landscape mode) occasionally triggers itself (and so is the bottom right when in portrait) I've cleaned it. Could this be a cable issue or could gunk between the bezel and the screen cause it? I have another one lying around with a cracked screen so switching the cable is do-able but it's not a task i want to undergo on a whim. Anyone any clues?
Edit: By "Trigger" i mean for example that the clock preferences show up or the battery status as if you'd pressed the icon. Sometimes the whole thing locks up but I expect that's due to it thinking that there is a spot being pressed somewhere and is blocking my other input attempts.
when i use the touch screen a see a little white circle inside the screen, and also if i don't touch it i see that little part of screen with more brightness
if i press it with more power in the finger it became black O_O
what problem is this?
Do you have "settings-developer options-show touches" ticked?
nope, it's a screen problem, maybe a a pixel problem?
