hey guys i just bought one of these tabs for my daughter and i got here a 32gb sd card to use so she can install some games but i cant install games or move games to the sd card, is there a simple way to fix this?
Simply put, no. I called & spoke to customer service. The claim the feature doesn't work with Android Nougat. I had it one day & returned it to Amazon. All you can put on the SD card is media & some save data for specific apps. I hope everyone that bought these for Christmas will return them to teach them a lesson. They don't want to do the work. but they want us to buy their devices. If I can do it on LG, Motorola, ZTE, Nvidia & Lenovo devices devices running Nougat, Huawei need to get there ish together!

hi, to the best people out there, what kind of wifi sd card will you recomend to me for my jam....the kind of driver...and the other parameters i need to consider before buying one. Im sorry but im not techy like you guys who can program and others. Therefore, i need your outmost help. God speed guys. Thanks.
I bought a SPECTEC card from ebay and it works like a charm. Its small size is great as it only protrudes from the Mini (I have a O2 xda II Mini) about 7mm.
I use a modified driver from the E300 card which seem a little better and Wi-Fi Companion that also comes with the E300 Driver download.

i'm going with the sandisk sd wifi 256mb card. I'm going to purchase it sometime this week. I've been told it works good with the magician. heres the link to it:
http://www.sandisk.com/retail/256mb-wifi-sd.asp
also i've seen on ebay they go for $135 at the end of auctions, and the thing brand new at a store is $145 so i'm just going to buy it from the store because i can pick it right infront of me and dont have to wait for it to be shipped and all.
I recently bought a micro sdhc 32GB card, and I am having endless issues with it.
1. My HD2 won't allow me install apps on my card. Just always asks me to install in a different area.
2. It has once deleted everything off my card, and also deleted over 10GB of music while leaving everything else intact.
3. My HD2 will sometimes see it and sometimes not.
I have tried to sync music onto it from my laptop, I have used the USB connection and I have put it straight on using my SD card reader.
Does anyone know how to resolve this? I bought the HD2 because it was expandable up to 32GB and I didn't want to carry a phone and a ipod, and I didn't fancy a ipod.
Help please?
What card did you get, where from, and how much did you pay for it?
There are dozens of people on here who got ripped off and got fake 32GB cards, and this is the kind of thing that can happen with them.
I paid £30 off eBay it was from a power seller, but my PC reads it as 32GB and it also can put the 10GHosts of music on and see it. I haven't tried to read off my pc though.
Geeeez, sorry but it's DEFINITELY a fake! Did you reall think you would get a 32GB card for 30 bucks? You guys are making it really easy for those frauds on eBay. I mean, if it had been 100 I would have understand, but 30???
Yes, fake with no doubt, £100 is about the cheapest you can have (a real) one for.
Alright thanks. I thought it was good offer but I still went ahead as he had a 99% score on ebay. Oh well that's money down the drain. amazon for me now.
He scores 99% because he removes the item before people can give negative feedback. Correspondence about refunds and sending new items take time, before you know the item will be retracted. And a lot of people give pos. fb without having really put 32 gigs on their card, as it seems to be working at first.
Pretty much the formula is this..
ebay + shipped from hong kong = fake.
Its best to not even purchase memory cards from ebay. Find a reliable retailer in your country or region. Youll still get a good deal purchasing online, and it will be guaranteed to be legit. (with a warranty!)
Thanks guys I will get on to ebay see if I can get some money back, I have found a 16GB for the same price on a proper retail website.
Thanks again.
a 30pound 32gb card?
Maybe in 4 years
Btw... I have had good experiences with buying from Hong Kong too, but just not SD cards, other things like phone skins, car holders, etc. are ok, they're cheap and and you can't lose . Also you have a better chance of buying cheap but good items from Hong Kong when you buy from a seller's web site instead of eBay.
I found on eBay a listing from a fellow selling a 2GB MicroSD Card with GPS maps of the US and Android. The listing title is: "My micro sim sard to run GPS and ANDROID on HTC HD2".
My question is: does anyone think this is legit?
I am unsure how anyone could squeeze the entire US on a 2GB card as well as a functioning Android port for the HD2.
Is this guy selling snake-oil or is it just a copy of what's already available here at XDA?
Thanks for your looking into this. For $19 I am a bit skeptical.
i would think its possible, android install is a couple hundred megs and i think the map DB for a program like gamin mobile xt only uses about a gig. who knows what mapping software they are using, i just used garmin as an example
very possible. i have papago x5 and android on my 2gb micro sdhc. plus mp3s etc....
Not quite sure what you're getting at here.... but if you're thinking about buying that 2 GB microSD card it's hardly worth "$20" used. Closer to $1. Android builds are freely available here and i'm more than certain the GPS software and maps being offered were not legally acquired. If you're looking for some GPS maps and mapping software........
true that reagarding the price. It is possible to fit android and most gps software on a 2gb mc but I'll advise you ++ some money and get a bigger storage. better to have it and not need than to need it and not have it....just my 5 cent
for 30 bucks USD you can get a 16GB class 4.....
android is already free and if what you're really interested in is gps software legal copies are going to cost you a lot more than 20 bucks. ebay link maybe?

I am aware of the SD Card costs, I was not shopping for an SD Card. I was only wondering if this android he's selling is something that has been de-bugged further than what is offered here since my understanding is that it is still not 100% reliable. If I am wrong on this then please enlighten me as to which android build/hack will work best on a TMOUS HD2 and a Telstra HD2.
As for the GPS, he is stating on his ebay ad that the SD has all of the US maps on it thereby eliminating the need for a data plan to show maps. Whether it's pirated or not, I have no idea since I am not a GPS expert or know even if putting all those maps on a 2GB SD is even possible. I guess spending the $19.99 will be the only way to answer that.
Well as i have already suspected you are going to get ripped off 100%.
As i've already said android comes free of charge here on XDA and you can get it yourself over in the android forum. It's still not 100%. If you wanted a 100% working android you should of gotten a android phone to begin with. That's the hard truth unfortunately.
As far as the mapping software goes more than likely it will be an illegal copy for the asking price. If you're looking for GPS software "iGO Primo" is probably hands down one of the best software out there and most of what you'll find is here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=692181
It won't tell you how to get it... because well.. its pirated... but there plenty of hints within the thread as to where you can acquire all the files you need. Or just PM somebody in that thread
I think this is what the guys doing....
1. selling you the android already in the card (obvious). Which he probably got on XDA.
2. He not including any maps to any GPS. What he really means is that the Android build has working GPS. So, you can use google maps which is the already built in as a GPS mapping system.
I'm just saying. If I were a con, I'd word it like his ad. Cuz it makes you believe you're getting some sort of paid GPS software.
Edit: You mind posting the ebay ad on here so we can see what he's posting in the add. Wording is key! Oh, I promise not to buy or outbid you.
Before I got my HD2 I had an XDA 2, it was really hitting it's limits when I upgraded. But now there is the new HTC One, and my HD2 is still going along just fine by the miracle efforts of the xda community, the only thing I could ask for is NFC. (Which funny enough the XDA 2 supports with SDIO). I want a new phone, but I just can't justify abandoning my HD2 while it still does everything else so admirably.
So what should I do? Could the HTC One be the last great seminal phone from HTC? Can I put my HD2 out to pasture before it's ready? Will my wife forgive me for spending more than a month's rent on a phone? Is there someone who can make a NFC battery cover that connects to my phone with bluetooth?
You would get NFC but have no SD card expandable storage & non removable battery plus camera not as good as should be for devices ranking.
No expandable storage is always a no buy for me as can't afford to loose data with a dead mainboard which is all the more common on the new breed of smart phones.
Too many are copying iphones approach on no expandable storage & big purchase cost for 32GB & 64GB models. Copying an idiots homework results in an F- ...
HD2 is still a superb & very usable handset & a 64GB upgrade only cost me 25USD
I had the same question and really don't regret getting the One.
The experience is much better:
Bigger screen, incredible resolution, great finish, speed (I realised how slow my hd2 was).
I you don't need more than 32go and can afford it, I say go for it.
Sent from my NexusHD2 using xda premium

My SD card once got corrupted and i lost all the data on my HD2 so i backup everything now. Which i guess is a point in your favour because i could put in a new SD. And i agree about the battery since i keep my phones for a long time.
...
Damn, i just read ifixit and the One got 1/10 for fixability. That kills it, if it wasn't too much trouble to replace the battery i'd get the One, but that is too much work.
Thanks for your opinion guys.
One has some good points but unfortunately it not flexible enough for my liking & just a disposable item after 12 months plus or as soon as you need repair.
I have a second phone with non removable battery & no expandable storage & I really miss those points & no way I would have a main device like it.
You pay serious dollar for these devices & most really are lacking good technology & basic design criteria most of us require & have had in the past on older devices.
A real mile stone device does not come along often but keep your eyes open & spend wisely ...
Hello everyone.
I have been looking for phones over the last week and I found this nice phone that's pretty affordable with awesome characteristics . Is k3 worth buying, because since it is so cheap, there must be a problem with it,I guess...
Its a good mid range phone from middle 2015. Buy it if you find one cheap.
Also, there seems to be a batch with many issues with the touch screen (Ive one with a bad screen) and with no support from the company: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/K-and-...h-Screen-Issue-in-Lenovo-K3-Note/td-p/2128737
So in my opinion its a gamble when you buy from Lenovo (because the issue the screen issue is still there with k4 and k5 (or what its called)).

imo, dun buy it.
i bought it based on its spec, very impressive.
regret ever bought it.
dun buy it.
ps:
out-of-box, chinese version will download tons of crappy chinese apps/games once the data connection/wifi is 'ON', b4 u realised/understand wats going on.
all stock apps/games r restricted use for china (restrictly no settings for any other cities out of china).
sound speak is too small, too soft, cant even hear alert/alarm.
usb connection non existence for sd storage, only for charging or otg.
external sd storage another screwed problem, unfriendly usage.
risk brick phone in order to install custom roms, experimental stage not sorted-out teethling problems.
no support from lenovo, retailer support scuks, new phone replace with refurbish phone, etc.
good luck if u wishes to buy lenovo phones.
pss:
seriously wants to buy lenovo k3 note, dun ever buy the chinese version, get the ROW (Rest-Of-World) version.
psss:
screen start to show sign of flickering after six months. damn :-[
Hads mine for nearly a year and it`s been fine, great phone for the price.
You can find it on aliexpress for 90€ shipping included (100$) at this price, its really hard to get such a good device.
About all the chinese stuff inside, just flash international android 6 and it will be more clean and you get play store
Also this device has huge comminuty and now we start to see Cyanogenmod running quite good
Even right now, its the best device you can get for 100$ !
And if it break after a year or two, you need to remember you just paid 100$ for it
