I've searched high and low for the G5S Plus xda page but can't find it. My question is, will all these rooting methods and roms work on the G5S Plus? Thanks for your help!

Hey, Motorola Moto e users!
I thought I'd make a sort of general thread so that we can all talk here, introduce each other, bash a certain company, and have a general discussion. It'd be a good way to help the newbies out, too. The clutter of extra threads in the General section is really annoying so let's keep the extra talk here!

Im from Brasil, using android since 2011, got my #9 phone, this moto E, a few months ago.
I was with a gs3 before this one (lost it...) And I can say that this is the best android experience I ever had!
For now, subscribed to moto E - general and the 2 topics about lollipop. Just waiting for it...
BTW, can't mess with ROMs or software since I don't have a computer, because its too damn expensive here on Brazil ? and don't know how to develop even a ant :3

I am on stock firmware 4.4.2. While flashing the lollipop rom via twrp 2.8.2.0. I got update binary fails... Anyone help me...

Firstly update to 4.4.4 using stock images.. Use only stock images not a flashable zip to upgrade to 4.4.4 and then flash root flashable zip of lolipop

90% chances are it will have good development but it well take time as it took in 1st gen
Just wanted to say goodbye to the Moto G community.
Recently bought my GF a Note 3 for her birthday, and needless to say, she didn't want it..... "it's tooooo biiiig!..."(p.s. not the first time she's said that...... haha j.k)
So I decided that I would make the switch to the note, and just recently sold my G.
It was the closest thing I've had to a nexus device, minus the 2 weeks I had a galaxy nexus back in the day.
The Moto G gave me my first taste of lollipop, and it was sweet. Very sweet!
Excited for official lollipop to come to my sweet new toy!
I have a lot of experience with XDA and modding phones, and the moto G is no exception.
If anyone has any questions they need help with, and dont feel like they want to bother a busy dev with IM's, use this thread to post whatever questions you want, and I will try to answer as best I can.

When quantity is over quality, this is a kind of a reply you can get from the moto g community. The lowest quality of all motorola communities i've ever been a part of in xda forums includng its moderators as well. So glad to part my way with the device and moto g xda community. Do you think if he gives a **** about your caring, what a genius !

My choice is Huawei P10 Lite, it is more better tha A5 2017. You can try side by side comparison video on YouTube, Huawei done a great job with P9 Lite as well, P10 lite is more update and latest device than Samsung A5 7.

What do you guys think? Everything can be ported to every device? And if you say "Please? Please?" it will be possible and someone will spent countless hours to build it? If you want it so badly learn how to build it by yourself and share it. Sorry for the little rant but there are too many " Please build me this build me that" threads on XDA.

Well said, and not too offensive... Honestly, this is part of the reason I have largely stopped developing/contributing to XDA and just "fringe helping" (as I like to call it) with specific topics, after years of working on various ROM projects, and then moving to a RC I just too blasted with users asking for me to do stuff for them. Yet still, just about anytime I make several posts on a certain topic, some user will hit up my inbox asking for my help directly.
TBH, we have lost many a good developer to demanding users over the years.

He's the same guy who created a thread 3 days back asking for Moto Power Pie build. He has absolutely no idea about development and how its actually all done. Sick of these people on xda.
