Hello Everyone,
I hope someone can help me, I have tried to answer my question and searched quite a while in the oneplus forums, google and here but couldn´t find a straight answer.
My wife has a oneplus2, for business reasons she needed to encrypt the phone, but now I would like to install a different rom on her phone, probably a nougat one, to give a new life to it, however I am not sure if that is still possible since the phone is encrypted I am assuming that I can´t do much.
Is this correct? If it´s not correct can I someone explain me how or at least in the right direction.
Much appreciated any help.
Cheers,

hi guys,
i got an optimus 7 with a demo rom, i've read on the Mozart section that the problem was solved by flashing another rom, is there anyone who can help me flash a full operating rom on this device pls??
thanks
First of...How did you get your hands on one. Secondly, why are you still keeping it? Thirdly, I have yet to get bootloader access on my Optimus 7 like you can with the HTC phones, and there are no dumps for the LG rom yet either.
I got one for free from a vendor who cant put it in the shop-window cuz too many criminals in that district.
I just have to "unlock" it and return to the vendor so he can use it like a normal phone.
Flash it..... the flash is simple and explained here... you can also choose the vendor you like more)))
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=935578
I flashed mine yesterday (from Vodafone to TIM) and now works perfectly.... the procedure on that page have kind of lack of explanations, if you need any help I can explain you better the procedure, I am trying to post a more detailed one there but it's impossible for me because I have less that 10 posts... don't believe the guy that say he fried the phone, maybe he just made something wrong
Hey all.
it seems i, along with a few others, have bricked our plays (See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13365748#post13365748)
Essentially, what we have done is, unlocked the Bootloader, then updated the software (through the phone settings, in my case, im not sure about the others)
it seems we need a recovery FTF for the updated software. does anyone have access to this? if so, could you get in touch with waz000000, or anyone else that may be able to help.
Thanks
PS. sorry to put this here, if its the wrong forum, i didnt have priveleges to post in development
asked in q&a but no response
hi guys,
i just bought a xoom in the uk as an impulse buy. usually i do a lot of reading on things like this so i dont usually need help when it comes to rooting, unlocking bootloader etc.
This has probably been asked but i tried searching and i just got more confused. I would like to know if the uk xoom (wifi only) can be rooted and if i can unlock the bootloader. i would like to install a jellybean rom if that is possible but i couldnt really find i guide on this particular version.
If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

I'm sure this has been covered, must search harder!! LOL
Anyhow
I flashed this Rom on to my uk xoom. Doesn't matter that it's for the US one , well I've not seen any ill effects It also turns your device into a google experience device so updates come direct from google. You're a bit late to the party on that one however as they've dropped support in 4.2.1
Bootloader is unlockable through fastboot oem unlock ( this will wipe your data ), no hacking required.
That should give you something to start wifi!
Hello guys, just got the S7 edge, got to say nice phone, however I was kinda hoping there would be more development, sad there isn't, wonder why? Now to what matters I can't seem to find how to root my phone either, I attached a screenshot, with basic info, you know build I'm currently on, can anyone link me to a way to safely root, I'm pretty good with reading instructions, I'm not a newbie by any standards I been rooting for a few years now, so any help would be highly appreciated.

My friend,
no question is a dumb question, like to say there is time for indefinite answers.
My strongest and respectful suggestion for you will be to get familiarized with this online community (just in case you have not been around for quite a bit). And the reason behind is because getting familiarized with this database, searching and finding any development, suggestions, and tips for your device model will become a piece of cake.
Attached is the location of the forum assuming you have the G935T or/and the link to the forum para que llegues en putiza lol!

LOL mi Hermano I saw that Post, but its using a different Build other than the one I'm using, I'm currently on G935TUVS4BQC1, the one on the mentions this build SM-G935T_G935TUVU4BQB1, so I'm a little hesitant to use it I really don't want to soft brick or brick my phone specially with so little deving for this phone. thanks tho, I think I'm just gona ask in that Thread if it's compatible with my current baseband/build, Muchas Gracias.

It is compatible my friend, both are under the T Mobile variant. BQC1 is the latest Firmware version. If you want to preserve your data. Instead of flashing the CSC go ahead and flash the HOME_CSC through Odin.
Make sure you always backup your data and files to an SD Card in this case.
If I'm posting in the wrong section, please let me know, or move my post for me...
I'm trying to find an ADB enable firmware for boot loader version 5, kernal version 3, and system version 4. Or, at least, I think that's what I'm looking for. I know that's the boot loader I'm looking for though. Everything I find is for lower versions.
I have tried searching all through the forums, and google. Either I'm not wording things right, or I actually don't know what I'm looking for.
Right now I have the combination firmware installed.
Aside from the above;
I'm trying to remove my google account from my device because I forgot the password, and I only had the email logged in on the device. I know, I'm stupid for not removing it first before trying to flash anything else, but, alas...
Is there anyway to remove my google account from my device from the combination firmware? Boot loader is not unlocked...so probably a huge issue there. I've found quite a few resources that detail how to do this, but they all have older firmware versions for the "ADB enabled" firmware downloads.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Heck, I'm an IT guy, I'm willing to learn something and really get into the internals and tear this thing apart, even if it's in some buggy setup that could get me closer to goal. ( I know that makes it even worse that I didn't think to remove my account though, so please go easy on me..)
Dude you have to ask in "question/answer" section of this forum to find any help that could solve your problem.
Have a good day
