You could use this. It's what I did and everything works fine. I used the Hisuite method.
Do remember you are doing all this at your own risk as the update hasn't been officially released yet. ?

It's still a beta version. The official update hasn't been released, at least as far as I know. You can see from my screenshot it's still a prerelease version.

Yeah, I've seen B332. It keeps failing to install for some reason. I think it is too, but I can't give a definite answer yet.

It's written prerelease under the kernel version. That's how. I honestly don't have any problems so far.

I don't think they will delay the update more than April/start of may.. that would be crazy
So ZTE say we would get Oreo on April , would it be these April or April 2019 ???
Any body has any news ?
The clickbait is real. Shoudn't you have put a "?" instead of a "!" ?
I'm happy to wait and have a more stable and reliable ROM rather than ZTE pushing out a hasty Beta full of bugs........

Oreo already exists for the G and U, betatesters have been using the beta builds for some time
I can haz oreoz now???
I always look for updates, but LOS Nougat great for me except for one thing that is sometimes two things: random soft reboots that occasionally reset my wallpaper to some default. Otherwise, no issues.
For U model

Sent from my ZTE A2017G running V1.2.0B08 using XDA Labs
I am really impressed with how tight everything is kept. I expected some screenshots or even general info to leak but everyone seems to have respected their NDA.
We're now at the middle of April. ZTE germany "confirmed" this month we'll have Oreo. I guess it could happen any day now.
hi folks - i'm almost at the end of my tether with this damn phone. How have you guys been surviving with it? I bought it in March - the fact that it doesn't have a home screen is just the start - apps everywhere.
Will Oreo be here any time soon at all do you think or am i going to have to sell it and get an S9?

What?
Just change the launcher! So easy.....
I suggest Lawnchair Launcher for a fast and stable reliability and performance.

Hahaha wtf. Everyone knows this kid is setting up multiple accounts on XDA and Reddit and spam about ZTE and Oreo ... Pls stop no one likes attentionseekers
Just recieved an OTA update for stable android pie.
Downloading now. That was really fast! (I'm not a beta program member). Discuss Issues and Fixes here.
Installed now.
BUGS:
1)Gcam stopped working completely. No version works. A really big problem (at least for me).
UPDATE : Gcam doesn't work on Pie because Camera2api got disabled (only for people who enabled it from adb shell). Will try to enable it again now.
UPDATE 2 : It is impossible to enable gcam without rooting now.
UPDATE 3 : 1080p 60 FPS video does not have stabilisation anymore. (Pisses me off a lot)
Will keep updating if I find more bugs.
FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO UPDATE BEFORE THEY GET PIE IN THEIR REGION : https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/development/rom-mi-a2-android-9-ota-stable-t3869307
Screenshot
It did not install on my phone. It rebooted in 8.1.0 with second november update. After that there was no PIE update available but now it`s downloading for the second time.

Yes I am in India. I'm pretty sure they will globally roll out the update by tomorrow or today itself. For now, I'll test and update the post if I find any bugs.

Thanks .. it seems it is same as the beta one .. so I don't need to downgrade to 8.1 to get OTA to 9.0 as I'm currently on that version.

You can do this on unlocked bootloader and unlocked critical device. On Locked device, no idea as I never find a way yet as I don't need it.
I already answered to your questions before ..
