Disclaimer
1. If OTA works for your phone and you get updates regularly be patient and soon or later you'll get a monthly security update, Oreo, whatever...
2. This topic might be helpful for those who struggles with getting OTA updates and is stuck at a certain update level.
3. If you decide to install update manually you'll do this at your own risk.
4. Update links are for 00WW firmware (European carriers) pointing directly to OTA update server
How to check if an update can be installed on your phone
Updates are NOT cumulative and have to be installed sequentially one by one, e.g. if your phone stuck at June update level you need to install July update first and do not jump straight to December.
1. download OTA update file on your PC and unzip it
2. go to META-INF/com/android/
3. open metadata file and look for "pre-build-incremental"
4. if it matches the build number from your phone you're safe to apply the update
5. you can get current build number installed on your phone by reading build.prop by any means, e.g.
adb shell getprop
How to install 8.x/9.x OTA updates from recovery
1. Put Nougat December 2017 OTA and the latest Oreo OTA updates onto SD card
2. Boot into recovery
3. Install Nougat December from SD card
4. Reboot into Nougat recovery when update fails
5. Install the latest 8.x/9.x OTA from SD card

February 2018 OTA update carries full Oreo firmware along with February 2018 security update. It does not have any pre-conditions and can be installed on top of any patch level.
Note: Installing this OTA from recovery mode on top of Oreo 00WW_5_220 build may cause recovery loop. To avoid this do following:
1. copy Dec Nougat update and Feb Oreo on SD card
2. downgrade recovery to Nougat by installing Dec OTA. It will fail, but overwrite recovery anyway
3. reboot phone and enter recovery again
4. install Feb Oreo update

2. Non-Verify Version[NVV] :
This Version Does NOT Check OR Verify AnyThing, It Only Does Patching.
All "getprop", "file_getprop" & "apply_patch_check" are Removed.
NOTE 1 : This NVV is Un-SAFE Version & May Make your Device Unstable.
May even BootLoop OR SoftBrick OR HardBrick.
Use With Cation.
