I am in Canada and I just got my Le 2 x526 phone
I want to flash a custom rom and I narrowed it down to these two.
Which one should I pick ?
LineageOs 15.1 or AospExt 8.1
Just flashed LineAgeOS 15.1 and I found out that it wont let me install netflix normally from play store. Device is not certified.
is AOSP Extended have the device certified fix ?
I have a OnePlus 5 rooted with pure Fusion OS 7.1.2... I've had Pure Fusion for a while and I love it.. I'm just wantng something new and I've read a lot up on Resurrection Remix and I'm going to try that for a while....I have TWRP 3.1.1 version 43 bluespark.. I want to flash Resurrection Remix Oreo 6.0 Gapps 8.1 pico and super su....what all do I need to do? Do I need to update TWRP? ANY HELP OR A GUIDE WILL BE VERY VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks.

This belongs in the Q&A section.
There is no active RR development for the OP5. The official build never got off the ground and is not fit for use. I recommend LOS 15.1 from codeworkx, or if you need more features, Dirty Unicorns Oreo, which you can get from their website. That will do you until Pie ROMs mature a bit.
Update your TWRP and Firmware to latest Official before flashing ROM. Opengapps Pico is good. ARM64.

I would.
Nandroid before you begin. Update TWRP to latest and flash full OOS zip. Run it once and then back to Recovery to do your wipes and custom ROM/Gapps flash.

I bought Umidigi F1 Play (MT6771) about a month and i want to try some treble project cause my phone Support A/B Partition support ,
the problem is that you need a recovery that support A/B Partition Support (if it isnt any Gapps you would install will not detect that your phone is A/B support so it will be installed in /system instead of /system/system)
so I changed the updater-script to install gapps automatically on /system/system
this is just a temporary solution waiting for a recovery fix

Gapps is a nano type OpenGapps so faceunlock and other features is included

Thanks for your Grat Work. It works very fine on a/b devices. The only Thing to do is to set the Google App to a system App for the Google Assistent.
I am on Lineage 16 with your Google Apps in my Ulefone Armor 6E a/b device. Now i'm trying to Install Lineage 17 with Android 10. Ist it possible to get Gapps for this?
