Accidentally installed to chinese 5.9 version help to back to US stock version

hey guys, I accidentally installed my pro3 x727 to chinese version 5.9 and got no google apps.. and tried to find the US 5.8 version but no luck on success to back to US stock version.. can somebody give me some help here.. like how to root the phone.. and flash to other roms or US stock rom... im very depressed :crying::crying:

I did the same as you, but if there is option to be able to install google applications. Even install other roms, rootear the phone and install the twrp ....

N9005 doesn't work with custom roms?

I have a N9005 that I'm tryin to install a custom ROM (I have another one already with Norma v29 working perfectly). In this one I flashed the original 5.0 firware and then tried to root, isntall custom recover, custom rom, etc., as I normally do. With this phone I can root and install custom recovery but every custom ROM i tried I always have a bootloop on Galaxy Note 3 screen (tried Norma, Phonesis, etc.).
I can reflash to an original ROM but don't understand why it doesn't work with a custom ROM.
Can any one help me? I even tried to change bootloader on a specfific tutorial for Norma v29.

Hello. Yes is a used phone. The model is a SM-9005. The roms I'm using are for this model. I tried again a Lolipop 5.0 stock rom, then root, then recovery (until here everything works). Then applied Norma V29 and i'm stuck again at the Galaxy Note 3 screen, the blue led starts to blink and then the phone restarts. Really can't understand. Even tried the same memory card from my Note. Well the only difference is that one is 16GB and this one is 32GB. Any stock rom work perfectly but didn't want to use them.

Can it be that the internal memory size is causing the issue? is the only difference....can someone help?

Well my original phone is a 32GB. Don't know why the hell I was thinking 16GB... so most weired. If someone could help will be great. It's working with the stock 5.0 and rooted with CM-AUTO.

before flashing custom firmware you should enter the recovey and make complete format for both cache and data partitions.
after the firmware install it might take the system up to 10 minutes to boot.

Thank you for the answer. i'm doing all the steps (I changed roms on Note 3 for some time now). This one startups on the Galaxy Note 3 Screen, the led starts to blink (like 4-5 times) and restarts himself. So is not waiting time. made factory resets, all the wipes, even a script I found for fixing EFS. When I flash a Android 4.4 or 5.0 stock from SamMobile just works.

I'm new here i trying to install twrp in my n9005 odin give me pass the flashing but when my phone restart i press power + volume up + home button my phone go to stock recovery im try also with philz but same result can somebody help me
** when i download twrp give me 2 choice... American OR Europe what the correct version for my n9005 im leaving in Saudi Arabia
and i use the original cable usb 3 or i can use the normal Samsung usb cable

hala adel, recheck the twrp version you downloaded is for 9005? check the md5 of your download..
9005 is the international version so its europe, US phones are different..
hope it helps, I can't think of anything else.. read in twrp for note 3 thread also

Suggests you are using the wrong TWRP version .
Read the roms instructions/ search thread .

use TWRP version 2.8.7.0.
Most custom roms do not support v 3.x.x.x

Yes i can install ... Phronesis Rom as a normal install only facing faild and zip corrupt in UX9.7 ROM

then check the md5 of magma nx9.7..!
read the how to install in tge magma rom.. sometimes something small will interrupt the flashing

I thought I'd clean up the phone.
I installed via ODIN official fw = Lollipop.
Then root + TWRP 3.1.1.
Next installing custom rom RR 7.1.
ERROR
I resolved as follows:
Installing "CP_N9005XXUGBPB1_MODEM.tar" + "BL_N9005XXUGBPB2_BOOTLOADER.tar"
Now RR installation is successful!
But "not SIM" (can not enter PIN)
Solution:
Override file "libsec-ril.so". Here is: Root / System / lib / libsec-ril.so
Done - it works!

Guys, Please can anyone explain how to check if recent version of TWRP will work with Leeco S3 X626 with Mediatek Helio X20?
On TWRP compatibility device list at twrp.me/Devices there is no Leeco S3 X626 device listed, but there are some other from Leeco. Can Someone confirm what other model can be chosen and wont brick my device?
Also if I upgrade the stock bootloader with TWRP I'm also oblige to perform ROM update in the same time, or I can still easily work on stock rom until I will do the rom update some other time?

Why do you need a higher version?
There are working twrp, for example: 3.1.1. , there is a ported 3.2.1, but the mount to the PC in the original mode does not work.
I will also add, if you have an old version of the ROM, then the recovery should match the firmware version.

Cant flash custom ROM on same device
Hi, I seem to be unable to flash a custom ROM, I have the same version and I get an Error 7 when I flash any ROM , but It only happens in the part that flash Vendor files. Someone had that problem? How did you fixed it?

Have you installed the latest global firmware 10.3.6? If not try to install it restart to recovery and flash the rom

Yes I have, oddly with it it looses baseband I had to restore modem from a backup, I checked my device in Xiaomi page and it's listed has the Global International version so I dont't know why the fastboot global rom that I flashed made my phone loose that. I have MIUI Global 10.3.6.0 (PFGMIXM).
All is working as it should after restoring the modem data.

Flash orange recovery and try again ... If this doesn't work, download the Rom again and try it.
I have the same device as you and I have tried Havoc OS, miui.eu (both stable and beta) and MiuiMix without any problem... ?

Just want to put a newer rom on it. I am new to this, but is it possible to put a rom on it without using twrp. I tried using towel root v3 but ran into a connection issue. I wasn't able to put twrp on it, it was unsuccessful in odin. It is on kit kat.

Lollipop may be as high as it will go. See if you can find that. The AT&T variant may screw it up though.
I probably leave it be, KitKat's a fun OS.

I want to flash a newer rom on it for a better experience. I tried towelroot and it couldn't connect to the internet. I tried to flash twrp with odin, but it failed. It is on kitkat

Not really. Haven't explore them much. Regardless Android 9 or maybe 10 is as high as I would go as 11 and 12 are dogs.
Again I would leave that device on KitkatI have an old S4+ running on. The 4.4.4 upgrade took away the easy root option in Kitkat. bastards.
