Custom ROM...
OP: Search in Development section, look out for tags like [2.3.X] or [GB] or something. These might be it. They are based on 4.0.2.A.0.62 or .69 for sure(except CM mods). Even if it is written 2.3.7, it is just the version number, doesn't change much.
Also, there is no big difference between .62 and .69 firmware, just .69 is only for German, the only change is related to a legal issue(changes Gmail name only, if I am not mistaken).

Hi there, is this a flashable rom or should this just be included the ftf thread?
I'm sorry but I don't follow you, what is the difference between flashable ROM and FTF?
It is an FTF, so you can include it in FTF thread, and it should be flashed using Flashtool, so I guess it's a flashable ROM as well .
So it's up to you, just feel free to include it in any thread that will make the most out of it .

Xperia XZ Stock Firmware downgrade?
Hi,
I have an XZ F8331. I upgraded to Android 8 OTA not long after I got my phone when the notifications hit. I want to switch to a custom ROM. I've seen that, according to SONY developer(DOT)sony(DOT)com ( Im unable to post links yet) the XZ F8331 has a an unlockable bootloader. However, when I punch the #*#* code into the dialer the menu says the bootloader cannot be unlocked.
Is it possible sony saying the XZ F8331 CAN be unlocked based on older information? Im wondering if I downgrade to the stock rom it came with if that might make it possible to unlock the bootloader and switch to a custom rom like OMNI or Lineage or anything else than what I have.

I created a ftf bundle with the new Android Oreo Update for Xperia XA1 G3121 model.
I took it from German Generic Branch it is debranded.
I already flashed it on my device without problem.
