After some reading of all threads, I was wondering if is any form to flash the stock sistem(EMUI 4.0) in fasboot mode. I looked up but all i can find is the update package for 4.0...
Thanks!

Hi guys,
I'm just finalising restoring an A2017 (China) to stock for warranty exchange.
I have gone back to stock OS, locked bootloader but I still have the TWRP recovery.
I believe all I need to do is flash a stock recovery.img though TWRP and voila I should be finished, but I can't find a download link that definitely points me to what I should use.
Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
EDIT - Actually wait a minute can I just install full A2017 factory OTA update through MiFavor stock OS which I believe contains recovery, does that mean that everything goes back to stock (including recovery)?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/axon-7-chinese-stock-roms-t3436817
EDIT2 - When I try to install the A2017 B13 update.zip through MiFavor it says update failed. Should I install it through TWRP?
EDIT3 - Refused to update the whole image (update.zip) through MiFavor within the ZTE OS. I flashed the default recovery.img through fastboot, then I used the MiFavor recovery (not in OS) to manually flash the full image.
Anyway, got it to stock!
Where did you got the recovery.img?

In the link from my post above. Download the original stock ROM you want, unzip, one of the files is the recovery.img. FYI I had A2017 B11, installed B13 recovery.img and it worked fine.
I tried to flash recovery.img but it says: FAILED (remote: Partition flashing is not allowed)
What do I do? I'm on B13 stock with locked bootloader. I want to get rid of TWRP and back to stock recovery so I can get OTA updates again.

The first step in flashing anything is to unlock the bootloader, flash TWRP recovery, root, custom ROM etc. The inverse is the same. You are trying to flash an image to the recovery partition with a locked bootloader, which isn't going to work. I'd suspect you need to unlock your bootloader again, flash the stock recovery from the B13 stock image, and re-lock the bootloader. I am fairly new to the Axon 7 but I would consider yourself lucky if your bootloader is in fact locked. Typically locking the bootloader with anything but stock recovery is messy...

You usually end up with a DFU brick, sometimes only with fastboot. Very messy
There are flashable recovery zips for the A2017G, maybe @tron1 can make you one?
Hello, I have a MediaPad M3 (BAH-W09), I unlocked the bootloader through Huawei, i tried to flash a TWRP recovery and i got this
Code:
C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
target reported max download size of 531628032 bytes
sending 'recovery' (24652 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.778s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.318s]
finished. total time: 1.102s
I think i messed the recovery because i cant boot into twrp and everytime i try to boot into the device go into a sort of bootloop and the only chance i have to go out is to boot into fastboot. So I can boot it in the normal way and into fastboot but i dont know how to flash the stock recovery or a stock flash through fastboot. I have EMUI 5.1 and android 7.0. I saw many model of Mediapad m3, my question is if the firmwares/recovery of the other models are compatible with mine. Thank you
Hello GiammyA7X,
Thank you very much for your PN.
I am new at the XDA forum and I hope I can help you with my small experience.
Is it possible for you to get into the factory reset menu (pressing VOL+, VOL- and POWER buttons together)? Maybe you can try to do a force update in this menu with downloading the factory firmware to delete the twrp?
I also found the MultiTool application: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/tool-huawei-multi-tool-team-mt-t3523923
Maybe you can give it a try, too.
Which Build number do you have? I bought my BAH-W09 in China with the Build number BAH-W09C233B227 and I would like to get a European one. I found a BAH-W09C100B12 FullOTA firmware with FirmwareFinder (I am not sure if it is the European one). When I installed it with force update a error is occurred and the C233 firmware is booting again.
Best regards,
thm.

Hello, I'm glad that my PM helped you, by the way i fixed it: I downloaded stock firmware for my device through Firmware Finder and i extracted the Recovery.img and flashed in fastboot and after i made a Wipe Data/Format Factory. Now i have stock fw and stock recovery, the problem is i cant find anything about a custom recovery or root for BAH-W09 and no one seems to know about. I made several try flashing twrp and twrp m3 greatslon but nothing work. I have EMUI 5.1 and Android 7.0, my build number is BAH-W09C1000B022.

Me neither. Maybe the only possible way is to compile the TWRP by ourselves.
Thats a little bit diffcult for "regular" users I think.

That looks very promising!
Can you tell us which firmware version these images are targeting?
Does anyone have stock rom npns25.137-93-14 for xt1685 for fastboot flash ???
I am trying to get oreo OTA update to work, and i had twrp installed, tried to flash stock recovery.img "not sure i got the right version" but update to oreo failed for some reason....
Think i maybe must flash the stock rom again and lock bootloader....
There is no image leak for 137-93-14, however using this tool on your pc you can download and flash the latest system images for your device. Install it, connect, select rescue and reboot your phone to fastboot. It will format the phone so make sure you have backups of your files.
Hello first of all sorry for my bad english,
I update to Android Pie (From Netherlands VPN) and works fine but when i tried to install stock rom 8.1 with Mi Flash Tool my phone freezes, when i tried to flash the Nougat official firmware from Mi Flash tool my SIM CARD IS LOCKED, the only way to get my phone working is Android Pie BETA via Fastboot. What i need to do to bring my phone to stable stock rom 8.1 ?
I saw a tutorial with someone said to flash the nougat with EDL but i dont know what EDL is...
Mate, I'm going to say this just once. Please search for your question BEFORE posting a duplicate.

Sorry for that mate, but i am a bit confused and i dont know what can i do to rollback official to stock OREO, because i am on Android Pie BETA
Have you turned on the OEM unlock option? If not, just search for "fastboot oem unlock" command

Maybe the pie rom has ARB and cannot rollback easily.

What have you done? eager to update to pie and you experience bug and want to roll back? that's just a douchebag move imo.
