[Q] Need stock c4 firmware note 3 n900v

I am absolutely new to this, I have a huge problem. I got my Verizon Note 3 n900v from the US today, and i live in Bangladesh. Now the problem is after i put my sim card in, everything works fine except that it keeps showing the phone activation warning. (unrecognised sim)
Also whenever i try to press the software update, it says service not available :S
So what i want to do is flash the stock firmware and see if the problem goes away or not.
Please help me by giving me the solution to this problem..

S7 edge dual sim UAE version G935FD, I want to flash UK stock rom G935F

Hello, So I already know that I can flash my mobile with UK single sim rom version with no problem. I know, that I need to use Odin. After flash I want to set my device as new. I need only to backup my:
- messages
- call log
- all gallery
Can You advise me how to do that, please?
Sign into your Samsung Account and it should prompt you to backup all that stuff, although for the gallery I think the only way you can back it up is by moving all of them over to an SD Card and back later after you flash the stock firmware.
Good luck.
All loaded and working perfectly. It took 4 hours for set up everything, but now everything is perfect ( it was perfect before, but I'm living in UK and I want UK firmware, even on the back of the phone in UK address )
Great! Glad you got it sorted out!

[Q] Help! S7 Edge SM-G935A Andriod 7 Nougat update data not working

Hi ,
I have a unlokced at&t s7 galaxy edge and I was using it till yesterday on Tmobile network
every thing was working fine till this andriod 7/ Nougat update came in.
As everybody else I was very excited and let the phone go thru the udpate, everything went fine and I got andriod 7.
However after the update for some reason only mobile data ( I can make/receive calls) is not working on Tmobile network.
1. put the SIM into another phone to check there is no problem with the SIM/network outage. We found that there is no problem with sim/account and data/voice everything works exactly as it is supposed to work with another phone
2. I rechecked all the settings/apn/data/ etc many times on unlocked galaxy s7 edge phone but data is not working. I still see 4g/4g lte icon but I don't get the data. we tried manual search/resetting of network as well
4. I have put my brothers AT&T sim in on same unlocked galaxy s7 edge phone and data works fine.
can you please help me, advise what are my options now ?

What firmware were you running when you installed the OTA update? You may wanna try manually installing the full T-Mobile or AT&T Nougat firmware with Odin, just to make sure everything matches up?
Edit: hmm, if your brother's sim works in the phone, then everything might be ok. But still, installing the full firmware by hand won't hurt. This is weird tho lol
Ok, cool. I will search for it and try that out and post my results. Thank you!

welcome, i hope you get it working. keep us posted. i'm not sure if you're wanting to run the T-Mobile firmware, but if so, everything is in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/how-to/odin-stock-nougat-firmware-s7-edge-t3558242

This is what I did and it worked for me .. Please note , all of your data will be erased (I.e. factory reset) so take back.up if you want.
1. Power off and remove the sim tray.. Please ensure you have a Indian sim in the tray.. I used Airtel
2. Goto recovery , HOLD bixby button and Volume up together and power up
3. In recovery , chose factory reset .. This will give a warning and then reset everything
4. Chose power off in the recovery and insert sim tray with Indian sim .. you should do this before booting up as your CSC will be configured when you will start
5. Power on the phone , it may goto recovery again.. Chose to restart to system now
Everything will be configured to INS CSC now .. Samsung Pay works now ..
This worked for me , I had imported S8 from UAE . I don't take any responsibility for any damage in the process please .. just sharing what I have learnt from this forum. THANKS

I'm in a similar situation, have imported a Samsung S8 from UAE and would like to change the CSC to India. Will be getting my hands on the device in 1 or 2 days.
Are you sure the procedure explained above works?! Seems too simple
What was the UAE firmware version. I read somewhere on sammobile that the samsung s8 bought from UAE cant be changed to Indian CSC, and I also read the you should first insert a UAE sim card into the phone and then later you can insert any sim.. lots of confusions. Please do let me know your thoughts.
I'm very familiar with rooting phones so flashing new firmware and CSC using ODIN isn't going to be complicated for me.
Yes, it's simple and it works. Now a days most of the firmware are multi CSC so it gets configured automatically. Make sure you put a India SIM before powering on the NEW phone and you may not need to follow the above procedure.. It will get configured automatically

Hey! I purchased a Galaxy S8 G950FD from USA. I'm gonna receive it in few days. The CSC has OXM in it but not an Indian one.
It's being used with an US SIM currently. Will I ever be able to activate SPay in it here in India? Inserting an Airtel SIM (Indian Network) and following the steps you mentioned will change it to INS, thereby enabling me to use VoLTE and SPay?

It works. Only that I didn't get any OTA updates for India even after a week. The firmware version was stuck in AQEB. So I flashed a newer firmware version AQF7 using ODIN, after which I got an update for AQG5.

It worked for UAE as well as USA model, not sure why this wouldn't work for UK model.. Have you ensured an active India SIM loaded when reseting in recovery?

Hi,
Appreciate your effort in letting us know what could be done in rectifying this issue. I have just bought an S8 (SM-G950F) & I have been using it in India. I didn't kind of notice it initially but as time went by I just thought I'll set up "Samsung Pay" and noticed that I could not get through it at all. The application would open and check availability and would immediately give me a reply stating "Temporarily Available, Try again later". Had been frantically searching for a work around I stumbled across your instructions.
Did exactly as you had mentioned but to no avail. Everything seems to the same as it was just before I did a factory reset. I don't know where I have gone wrong but if you could probably try to help me out. Just for my clarification, after the factory reset, are we supposed to set up the phone as a new one or can we restore the settings and applications. If you could let me know, as it has been very frustrating since the last few days. I haven't been able to use Samsung Pay nor have I been able to use the Oreo Beta Program nor any updates.
Will look forward to your reply.

That means yours is the US version.
My phone's model number is G 950 f, which is a international version.
Unfortunately this didn't work for my s9plus unlocked snapdragon usa version with indian carrier jio, I tried hard reset once with nio sim and twice with airtel sim, but all in vain.

S10+ SM-G975U1 international phone

I purchased a S10+ SM-G975U1 of ebay, the phone functions great. The phone is unlocked and i use this on Rogers in Canada . The only thing is when i go to software update and get the update the phone saids "registering device" and just keeps on doing that . Am i going to get updates in the future or is there a way to find out if this phone can update or not . When i update why usually saids your phone is updated , no new updates but just keeps on registering the device. any ideas
i phoned samsung and they told me this is a international phone , i live in north america . thanks
Chris
I have the same device and no issues. I don't think this is an International phone though. That model number is USA/Canada to the best of my knowledge.
You may want to factory reset it and make sure the SIM is already in it when restarting.
thanks for you reply, i already reset the phone . I went through the setup steps to copy the information from my old android phone to the samsung s10 plus. The phone functions great but the only thing is when i try to update software i get the continuous message saying " registering device" . If there is update , would i get the update from air to wifi from the manufacturer. What firmware are you running now. In you opinion keeping the phone is ok. I know the us and canada s10's are SM-G975U and yous and mine is SM-G975U1 . When you go into your settings and try to update do you get same message. Usually when you try to get a update and your phone has the best update , the phone will tell you that " you have the latest update " not keep on trying to register my device. Any suggestions would be great. I just want to know i could update when there is a new one available . thanks
Try with samsung smart switch from connecting to Pc
