Strange issue after installing 4.3 MJ5

guys
i am having a strange issue with my galaxy s4 i9505.
its an astralian stock and bought it last month.
it has been working really fine but something just happened last night.
last night i flashed omega 13.1 mj5 and flashed mj5 modem as well but was having network issue. so i reverted back to phoenix 3.0.
then the alarm dint go off today morning and i started thinking why it dint go off or why i dint hear the alarm.
then when i tried to play music while going to office it hung and automatically restarted every time i tried to play music and music player was very very laggy and couldnt even click on any options properly.
then i tried to make a call and when i pressed call button screen sort of went black only status bar visible and phone stopped responding to touch at all but the call went through.
after touching the screen constantly the screen became responsive after 40-45 seconds. but whenever i tried to make a call or receive a call same thing happened again.
anything else music or making or receiving calls work fine.
i tried to play ringtone and it restarted the phone again.
i full wiped the phone again from CWM and reflashed the rom and still same issue.
i flashed another 4.3 rom and same issue again.
i went into test mode and everything went fine except speaker test.
speakers dint amke any sound.
the phone is under warranty and i will be giving it for service.
but just wanted to know if any one has any cluse what it might be?
it might be co-incidence but it happened just after i tried to flash omega 13.1.
any1 plz
Flash a different modem. That should probably fix it.
Same happened to me
Exactly this same thing has just happened to me! it started when i flashed 13.1 over 13.0 i installed 13.2 today and same problem!
Edit: Flashing a different ROM does not help! i have tried 5 different ROM's!

[Q] Need an advice/SM-N9005

Hello guys. I'm a new member to this forum, although I have been following it since I had my first android device. I would like to welcome you all and appreciate for your hard work of developing android devices.
So I recently flashed a custom ROM [4.4.2] for my GALAXY NOTE 3 SM-N9005 32GB. It worked perfectly, but I found this clean script for NOTE 3 which freed the device from stock apps. I flashed it using CWM recovery and I followed aroma. After that my phone rebooted, but it was stuck on the start-up screen and it kept rebooting. I was able to go to recovery mode and I wiped data and cache, but it didn't help, so I flashed OFFICIAL ROM N9005XXUENB7 BTU using ODIN. It flashed correctly, but :
* There was device set-up lags
* I had no sound
* No service
* Laggy lock screen
* Camera not working
* Couldn't play videos
* Random reboots
* Unknown baseband e.t.c
I have tried many different OFFICIAL ROM's, with PIT file, but it didn't help. I have also flashed a few MODEMS, but it didn't change anything. I have fallowed a few UNBRICKING guides, but never succeed. I have also flashed many different CUSTOM ROM's, but it didn't help. Sometimes when I flash a OFFICIAL ROM my phone keeps rebooting. All of flashed ROM's were ANDROID 4.4.2
Would anyone be able to help me and get my phone back to life ?
Thanks for your time. :good:

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505G which I flashed a custom rom on about a year or so ago.
I have since tried to update/flash it again with no joy. My baseband version is (meant to add my baseband when my phone loaded, it didn't.... Its something like MEA on the end.
I tried updating it so many ways, all different roms, stocks, baseband updates, god knows what else and I spend a lot of time on it also.
When ever I try to flash a stock rom using ODIN it fails. I recently tried to flash 5.1 I9505GUEUDOH2 Full Restore hoping it would just solve all my issues but now I seem to be in a boot loop.
I honestly don't know why this has happened.
Please can some one give me some advice or point me in the right direction?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
Thank you in advanced

Okay, so I managed to sort a sort of fix, I guess.
I used odin in download mode to flash twrp recover using BL. I launched into recovery and installed a I9505 rom onto my phone. So its currently working and I will probably leave as is in worry that if I continue to mess around I may brick it for good lol
Thank you

My guess is you were flashing the wrong roms. You probably have an I9505 and not an I9505G.

To fix the boot loop just re-Flash stock ROM (but no root yet)
Then find & flash custom PERMISSIVE Kernel for your Note 4 type if you are still want to be rooted.

you are facing a locked bootloader as we all are (both exy and snap) the only solution to fix your bootloop is to install apps like phone info then find out what your phone PDA version is then find the exact PDA from Sammobile or if you you are Having an 910C flash latest COJ5 rom or if you are on 910H try installing COJ4 rom (just download and install the latest frimware from sammobile or ... and you will be just fine )
Hi,
I already have a same problem with you, but i can through this..
you just find the right Firmware, its mean the latest firmware, try to download from sammoblie.com and find firmware for N910K picked the latest one. or folow this link : http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/58333/N910KKTU2COJ5_N910KKTC2COJ5_KTC/
after download you just flash via Odin.
goodluck

I failed at flashing new rom for SM-900

I seriously f***** up for the first time while trying to flash a custom rom on my cousin's Note 3 SM-N900. I was able to install TWRP and i proceeded to flash a custom rom directly from within TWRP. I kind of got ahead of myself and proceeded to delete/wipe/erase just about everything on the phone before flashing (dalvik, wipe data, cache etc..) and then i proceeded to Install the custom rom directly within TWRP.
Yes i agree i was careless and ****ed up quite a bit but i was so sure it would not go wrong. But it did. Now the phone only loads the initial 'Samsung SM-N900' boot screen and then goes to black. I can still access TWRP and Download modes at will but i am unable to flash a rom or a stock firmware that will work on the phone. I dont know if i ****ed up the bootloader, modem, kernel, etc, but i reckon i did some pretty good damage.
But the fact i can still access TWRP and Download modes gives me hope that i get right my wrongs with your guidance! Please guys help a poor soul out!
So what did you flash or is it a secret rom ?
Sent from my SM-N930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
I first flashed a ROM called Dilshad ROM v8, then when it did not work, i flashed AURORA rom, then Cyanogenmode 13 for note 3 N900 and finally i tried flashing a random stock firmware i downloaded from sammobile page for N900.

Yup i have. TWRP 3.0.2-0 installed correctly on the SM-N900. I can access it even when the screen goes black after the first boot screen by pressing the combination buttons (power + volume up + home)

I HAVE READ THE POST + REPLIES!! Though , he said he flashed a random samsung software.. But how should i know if he did it with the tar.md5 or flashed it as a regular zip... I'm just a guy tryin to help, so any extra addition may help so don't just regard that as useless
Since term flashing is mostly used with recovery mode, so did he put it on download mode and BL the offical bootloader and PA/PDA the software that supports the same bootloader?

An idea that is maybe a bit risky is to put back the normal (stock) recovery and try to restore update from sd card or something like that... I'm not sure how safe it is so use it as a least resort... I didn't even hear anything like that its just an idea, it may not work... But hope it helps
Hi
I have a similar problem. I have a note 3 with original UK ROM and wanted to flash my operator ROM to get wifi calling. Both are android 5.0
The problem is after trying to flash the first time I had a problem that the new ROM would not fully flash. reading posts I understood I had to flash PIT file which I downloaded and flashed. After flashing PIT the new ROM did not go in so I flashed my original UK.
After reboot I kept getting security warnings that something has changed and I should reboot. After several boots the problem did not go away.
So I tried to flash ROM again, different tries between UK ROM and my operator ROM, but the phone now only loops at booting. Sometimes it gets stuck at first Samsung screen.
Can anyone please help?
Thank you
I understood I had to flash PIT file NO NO NO .
You don't flash a PIT file without good reason .
SM900 is EXYNOS not Qualcomm model .
So what phone model do you actually have as this threads question is N900 .
Ok sorry I have 9005.
