The J730 version in not working.

Try using the j7 Max (G615F) version as it has the same CPU as of SM-C710F/DS.

Ashyx and fullofhell are the experts on this but the bootloader is totally locked down. Samsung refuses to make accessible any information to help. I love this phone. In time it will be rooted, but I'll personally not be buying samsung again.
I can tell you some excellent minds are still working on it.

However, much to my dismay this root was performed using version 6.0.1, and alas, I'm running on nougat 7.0. I've searched all over the forums trying to find an answer as to whether this method still works for devices running on 7.0 however, I cannot find a direct answer. Does anyone know if the method of rooting used in the above article still works for a g930a running on 7.0 nougat?

Yes there is root for 7.0. Just look through the forum and you will find what you need.

my son has a samsung a3 2016 and unfortunately he made a hard reset and now can't remember the google account info. To bypass it i wanted to downgrade it to 6.0 from 7.0 but sw rev check fail device 5 binary 3 error.
Is there anyway to handle this problem?

Probably you want to downgrade the bootlader. If the firmware is A310FXXU2**** you can't downgrade. If the firmware is A310FXXU3**** you can downgrade. https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-a3-/SM-A310F/SER/download/A310FXXU3BQD2/132023/

You can downgrade a firmware is the firmware has U3 bootloader. For example A310FXXu3CQI2. If the firmware is A310FXXu2**** you can't downgrade.

Seeing as it has a "separate" recovery, it surely isn't, as we can't use anything but stock recovery. Not to mention, something as vaguely written as this should be avoided unless you're certain you know what it is and/or why you would want/need it. I'm also willing to bet this is the HK/CHINA variant or whatever, because they mention spoofing the "US" variant for Bixby to work correctly.

Prerooted yes, supported are 9550 9500. hk and chinese Phones! As best flash chinese XBL and ABL . are included in CP File

its modded for using ODIN with the Files. You can take for sure the Tomato v6 TWRP ROM. Both roms, included this one in thread are pre rooted
I'm sure these are for the Chinese snapdragon, with the unlocked bootloader. The U.S variant has a locked bootloader. We can't flash a custom recovery. So those with the U.S variants, don't try it.. lol

Thank you very much for giving me the link for TWRP. I flashed it but not working, I can't reboot into system, it is getting bootloop in Recovery. Then in another forum I read that the kernal which is shown just below the TWRP in your screen shot also to be installed for working of this TWRP. So I once again seeking help from you to send me the link for this kernal N9500_twrp_kernal_QJ1.

I think I am very lucky.
I succeeded in installing EU ROM on Redmi Note 7 at someone's request last night.
There was a situation in which the person who received the product immediately became the booty. But most of you have to wait for 360 hours.
I am grateful to them for making twrp quickly. However, you will have to work a little harder to boot the TWRP (Note: same as the MIX3 TWRP boot method).

Hi everyone, I want to clarify one thing before saying the possible method, I had this device but now no longer because I had to lend it so I can't test it but when I read this method I immediately thought to see if it works on K10, if someone tries it and then it works, please tell them it could be useful to find a way to exploit the bootloader.
The guide is a root method for some MediaTek chipsets and the K10 one should be included.

My nothing ... the phone I lent it, having had the Xiaomi Mi A2 and being satisfied, I lent my K10 but wandering around for root exploits and bootloaders for the Meizu, I found this and thought, "Come on , let me share this guide in the K10 forum I could help people who haven't had the luck to switch phones but at least find exploits and put Android Pie on K10 "eeee, something happened, I read threads and I saw on the forums people who have successfully rooted, this will greatly help the exploit search for the K10 bootloader.

can you tell me specifically what is the model of your rom? if it is the original rom that came in it. type "M250DS10a" or "M250DS10d" and etc?

But now forgive me if I go off-topic, a few months ago, around February, I bought the Xiaomi Mi A2, a whole other universe compared to the K10, the stock of the Mi A2 is not one of those poorly bugged but the custom roms have saved my phone from various problems, this means that if you manage to unlock the k10 FORSE bootloader the k10 MAY save the k10. Unfortunately I can't experiment, otherwise I'd be here to experiment.
