Hi, I've had the phone for a couple of days and like lots about it.... Except..... I can't seem to find the setting to disable the charging led..... Can anyone out there help?

I have a tytn with the newest rom 1.18.416.1
all is perfect BUT....
When I have it charging and I turn on the screen or a call comes in the charging light stops.
Also if I show the battery screen while plugged in it does not say charging and the indicator bar does not move like it did no my jkam.
Any Ideas?

Well I guess I was the only one to have this problem. Anyways I just thought I would update anyone who may have this happen. After I soft reset the device 2 times all seem back to normal.

Hi Everyone.
I am not sure how best to describe this but I am curious if there is a setting to disable the clock from fading out after a couple minutes. Basicly I am in Aus and am currently unable to easily obtain a dock so would love to have to clock screen continue to be visable whilst on USB charge when at my desk at work. Am I missing something simple here to enable to keep the clock\dock visable?

Hi there, I recently purchased the "powerskin" for my mytouch 4g. But what is super annoying is that the green charging light stays on ALL day while the powerskin is attached.
Unlike most other power skins for other phones apparently this one does not have the "on/off" button feature... which i really would like. Seems bad/silly to leave the phone charging 24 hours a day?
Anyways. I was curious if there was a way to disable LED while charging but still show my notifications? I'm rooted and running cyanogenmod nightly #93. I tried messing with "LED hack" from the market, but that just disabled the LED all together. I would still like to retain the blinking email/text/ect... abilities.
WTF powerskin?! put a damn ON/OFF button on this thing!
any help is appreciated.

The device doesn't charge if the battery is full. your device will feed off of the powerskin until it is dead, then switch to battery power.
Not that I know of.
... Why not just unplug it?

Thanks for your response Gazian, I messed with a few of your roms! good stuff!
I spose I could just unplug it. I just don't want to keep fiddling with the little micro USB connector. doesnt seem all that durable. I was just hoping there was some little mod or hack that would shut off the charging light. For some reason it bugs me a lot! I keep my phone in silent mode at work and glance at it to see if i have a notification.

Ok so I'm one of those people that like to use the phone while charging (don't ask why)...but anyways since i do this, I disable fast charging to prevent overheating and overall battery damage. However, whenever i disable it and check the notification bar it says its still fast charging. I try this process over and over and it always switches back to fast charging almost immediately anyone else having this issue? Might just have to take it back for a new one but it just annoying cause i already set my phone up with all my stuff...

Have you tried disconnecting your phone while it's charging, THEN disabling the fast charging and plugging it back in to see if that works? Maybe it's not letting you because it's already in the "Fast Charge" state to begin with.
If you use your phone while charging 'Fast Charge' is disabled according to the manual, so no need to disabled it, maybe that gives a conflict (bug in programming e.g.).
