My redmi note 4 (MIDO) was kept idle for some time with a battery percentage of 4. After some time it shutdown and wont get started even after connecting it to a charger. I have tried connecting it to a wall charger and through a usb port with a PC as well. And whenever it is connected to a power source a red LED starts blinking but still no other activities on phone. The phone doesn't show on PC when connected. Please help as what I can do. And if there is any way I can flash it without getting into fastboot do tell.

hi. my note 3 fell in water everything works great except the charger port. when i connect my original charger it wont charge but if i use a note 4 charger sometimes it show that it charging but all it does is drain my battery and it disconnect every time i move the phone. i try connecting to my PC and the phone sometimes show charging but my PC wont recognize it. can some one please help me?
My Note 4 (N910W8) have problems with charging and connecting to pc.
Here are some observations.
1. When the phone is turned off, upon plugging the charger, it only shows the "pre battery charging" qmg, but does not go afterwards to the charging state.
2. When the phone is turned on, the phone does not indicate any signs of charging (no LED blink, no battery charging symbol).
3. When the phone is turned on and connected to the PC, the PC does not recognize the phone.
4. However, connecting a USB powered device (eg. portable mini fan, mini flashlight) to the phone allows the devices to work.
The only concern is where the source of the problem is. Is it on the battery or the usb port?

Hello XDA forums, i'm having a charging problem with my galaxy s5. No matter what i do, it does not charge properly.
When plugged to a wall charger, all the phone does is to show a gray battery icon with a bolt on it on the screen, which turns off in a few seconds and repeats this every some seconds. I have tried diffrent cables, chargers, tried connecting to diffrent pcs with all the combinations possible, all chargers work on diffrent devices, just not on my phone. I have inspected the charging port close up, everything looks just fine. The battery also looks fine physically, not inflated or looking weird in any ways. I had the phone charging for the whole last night, and in the morning when i powered it up, it showed only %6 power and within seconds powered off.
I want to try to format it, to see if the problem might be caused by software issues but i also want to save up some of the data in it, like contacts and some files, i don't have backups and loosing them would be horrible. is there any way to boot up the device connected to pc and take my datas from it? What should i do? what would you recommend?
The phone is sm-g900f 32gb, it was running on android 5.0.1 ofw rooted. When the phone is plugged in to the computer in download mode, the pc recognises it and device manager shows "SAMSUNG Mobile USB CDC Composite Device" under USB controllers.

I have a 10 months old Redmi note 3 phone. last night I connected my phone on charge (at 6% battery) and forgot to remove it. It was connected with charger for almost 6 hours. When I checked the phone , It was 98% charged, still connected but not charging. I removed the charger and connected again but it didn't worked. I tried using different chargers but still not working. I tried to connect with laptop, but nothing works. It looks like USB port is not working. Can anybody help me regarding the issue ?
I had put my 1.5 year old redmi 3s prime for charging last night and gone to sleep, it had 4% charge and i woke up to find it was 16% and not charging. I then changed my charger and cable but no avail. I then cleaned the charging port to see if that was the problem still no use. I saw couple of youtube videos n then unplugged n re-plugged my battery to see if that was the issue but my phone wasnt turning on, so i left it for plugged to the charger a couple of hours more but it wasnt charging. Then i rebooted it into recovery (power + volume up) and ran a few tests for which i have attached the screenshot. I live in a place where there is no Redmi service centre so i have to fix it myself. I would like some help to figure out if its the battery or the charging port faulty.
Now when i try to turn of the phone the only thing i get is a red light blinking. Also I used a friends phone cable to charger my phone sometime back and now his cable isnt working as well.
Try To Reflash Rom Or Try Offline Charging If You Using Custom Kernel Make Sure USB Fast Charging Is Off If Not Then Turn It Off And Then Try..
