I have a SM-G906K bought in Korea and unfortunatelly I had a problem with the display and I will need to replace it
Since I'm outside Korea I would like to ask if someone knows if another version display of the 906 would be suitable for mine, I mean, if there is some difference between the plug and if would be possible to replace it using a display of the version available in my region or even with another galaxy S5 display.
If it's not possible, could you guys tell me where I can buy this display online ?

So like many of you I really like the bezel-less style of the Sharp Phones and tried to pick one up in Hong kong last year when on vacation but all were sim locked. Now its great to see some are available unlocked, premium priced however, but its worth what your willing to pay for.
What I can't seem to figure out is what is the latest and greatest version available. I see a lot of people have the unlocked 305SH and it seems to offer European/Middle East users 3G/4G and GPS without issues. However the specs are not great when compared with newer models such as the SHARP AQUOS 402SH / 404SH which also seem to be available unlocked. Also I see there seems to be a Aquos Crystal X, Y, XX.
By looking at the pictures online, these models do not seem to have the same bezel-less style of the original Sharp Aquos Crystal. It is a thin bezel, but not quite as thin.
Would really appreciate if someone could give me the lowdown as to what is currently the best Sharp Aqua Crystal unlocked available to purchase that seems to work as well outside Japan as the 305H does.

I'm using 404sh here in Malaysia, where ordered online. So far no problem at all and I guess the only Sharp here in my country.
The latest Aquos Crystal is the 403SH by SoftBank, a.k.a. Aquos Crystal 2, released in the Summer 2015 collection. A Yahoo-rebranded version was released in February 2016 under the Aquos Crystal Y2 name.
While the frameless design of the Crystal is indeed quite appealing, the real cool Aquos phones are the Edgest series having a very narrow bezel, excellent cameras, IGZO displays + sturdy batteries (my SH-01G easily lasts between 4 and 6 days in one charge), water-proof, dust-proof (some of them). The latest and greatest of the Edgest series is the Aquos Zeta SH-01H for Docomo and its SoftBank version, the Aquos Xx2 502SH, both released in the Winter 2015/2016 collection.
Since Sharp was acquired by Foxconn in April 2016, there has been a noticeable - and somewhat displeasing to the eye (my subjective opinion) - shift in the new Aquos phones design. The Summer 2016 phones are too similar to the iPhone to bear, and have huge top and bottom bezels, although the specs are really impressive.

I do not think that design of those models that you mean (like SH-04H) has been influenced by Foxconn. The acquisition came too short before the models where annonced. In my opinion more likely that huge popularity of iPhone in Japan (well over 50% of the market share, as far as I remember even over 60%) has led Sharp to mimic the style of the winner of the race.
Hey, nice to know someone else is having the same phone as me. I am also using the 404sh in Singapore. Main issue I have with it is the lag. The phone sometimes is fast but after sometime seems to lag very badly, I am not sure whether this is due to the Japanese Softbank bloat or aggressive thermal throttling on the SD810.
Any tips you can share on eliminating the lag will be very welcome on an otherwise excellent phone
I am using 403SH in Taiwan. Everything is good except Camera (compared to my another phone-304SH, which is one of the narrow bezel model). Besides, please note that though 4G LTE 900 band is supported in Japan according to the specification, it is not working in Taiwan. I asked the cellphone shop, he said the LTE 900 in Japan is customized and different from other country therefore will not be compatible with other countries. FYI.
