Is there a way to answer a call with MUTE already activated? - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Is there a way to answer a call with the Mute feature already activated?
There are several calls a day from tele-terrorists/spam/robots and others that I'd like to answer with the Mute feature already activated to determine if they're spam or a legit person. Being able to have the Mute button activated before connecting would be a helpful tool in my determination.
Thank you in advance for your help or guidance.

Stop noise when answering calls with bluetooth headset?

On my 8125, when ever I answer an incoming call with the button on my bluetooth headset, the caller gets a brief loud noise. I have tried several different bluetooth headsets and received the same issue. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Any ideas on fixing this? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Wow, I've been having the same problem. My wife always complains because whenever I answer with my BT headset she gets the loud noise in her ear. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let us know.
Bump- I have the same issue...is it the BT stack- does anyone have some advice on what to check?
Thanks.

People get REALLY upset when it happens, they say its VERY loud. So I've been having to answer on the phone.. THEN activate the BT. NOT very safe while driving!!
Well....interesting. I hear the SAME thing from people that call me on my 8125. I am obviously not alone.
Curious - is everyone using Voice Command? Could this be the culprit?
OK- I found out what the problem was with MY phone...it was the vibrate option.
My phone was set to "vibrate AND ring"- this caused the noise when answering calls only (to the calling party).
Setting it to "Ring" or "Vibrate THEN ring" and waiting for the vibrate to complete prior to answering the call stopped all the noise...
Hope that this helps!
Thanaks for the input it works for me.

Cool. My wife and coworkers are going to be very happy about this. I've had people refuse to call me due to that loud noise when I answer (they send me an SMS asking me to call them )

Conference Call beeping

I tried to search and couldn't find anything on this topic.
When I enter into a conference call, the two parties on the lines indicate to me that there's a beeping sound. Any ideas on how to disable it?
Anyone have the answer to this one?
Anyone......?
Up! Anyone???

incoming call while dialing

Hi,
This is my first pocketpc phone edition so I don't know if it's common to all of them or just on the niki.
If I initiate a call and on the same second I have an incoming call, I find myself in the situation where I can't answer it...
The dialer is still on the initiate call screen and I can't seem to switch to the incoming call - not with the send button, even closing the dialer doesn't do anything.
If anyone can help me, I would realy appreciate.
Thanks.

"answer me" feature

I potentially really like the idea of the phone answering by bringing in to your ear. On my phone, though, I have to bring it my ear and then speak something before it answers and then I have to say hello again for the person calling to hear me. Is that how it works for everyone?
I've use it a few times and that's my experience as well.
a nice feature is to have your phone vibrate when the call is answered, that way you know when to say hello, there is a setting for that.

[Q] Answer call by putting phone to the ear ?

I was wondering if its possible on N3 to auto answer a call if you take the phone to your ear, without the need of press a button/slide to answer ?
Having all these features and sensors I couldn't find any option that does that.

Not that I know of, but in hands-free mode you can just say "answer" or "reject" (and it will also go to speakerphone).
