[Rom] MIUI 7

Hey all,
Dunno if you saw but MIUI just released MIUI 7 for the G3.
I didnt see any threads for this yet, so i thought i would post one.

Edit : not gonna try anymore. Just saw the build.prop and its a 4.4.2 based. No way! but thanks!

Can anybody confirm if this works on ls990.... I was a huge MIUI fan with the droid incredible

On which Version of LG will it work ? And can i flash it normally like every other aosp Rom ?.

The MIUI site says its for single sim only, so i guess this will cover them all, and yeah flash like normal

But the download Name of the file says f400 !. I am not sure it it will work did you already flashed it ?

Yeah, its on the list. You can install without problems.

Just flashed and is running smoothly, ill give it the weekend to settle and post back on monday

so it has miui 7 features but it is on kitkat ?
so you get features, exchange of less features ?
not a good deal ..

com.android.phone errors upon every reboot. Doesn't matter if you flush cache / dalvik... same problem everytime.
Even deleting data and reinstalling everything from backup. Upon reboot, com.android.phone errors.
This means no telephony network. Big problem
D855 version if you're interested. I came from 5.8.26 version without any problems.

Can I flash over 20p modem or I should first flash KK modem?

So this is official ROM made by Xiaomi for G3? Or unofficial port?

Kitkat is only supported yet for other devices because of MIUI needs to update their build tool aka patch Rom and the build was most likely based on KK while built.

Not true Miui 7. Miui 7 is lollipop. Guess it's just Miui 6 with Miui 7 UI?

miui is a ui that doesn't care much about android version, for example miui 4 was running on ICS or JB

HOW TO FLASH:
1.Download official Mokee Rom From The Given links
2.Download OpenGapps
3.Now Boot into TWRP and Perform a clean wipe (I.e Internal,Dalvik cache), Flash the Mokee,Opengapp zips together.
4.Thats It, Now your Phone will boot into Mokee 6.0.1 Marshmellow ,

Smooth rom
NO FINGERPRINT FIX
NO battery bug
calls working perfectly
still exploring (seems @Santhosh M 's sources )

Battery always stays at 100%? I'm I the only one with this bug after flashing this ROM?

Tried the nightly, battery percentage working, good rom

Yes this is really good. No bugs so far. Camera not that good but it isn't in any of the Roms so far.
Fingerprint don't work. Have not tested ir blaster yet.

I blaster works fine for me. But battery Percentage stick to 100 unless you restart with power chord plugged.

So maybe port from this rom will less bugs,not so much asport from ApolloLite?

I am not that sure that it is related to the kernel source. In my opinion is a problem of the vendor tree so it could be solved with a lot of work

Try dual booting ROMs, and test the stock one and this one out.

and pretty much everything
bugs:

brightness (fix using light_fix but notification light doesn't work)

@hemantac hi! I tried to install this rom on Markw but it doesn't boot, stuck at first loading. This is what I did: installed an oreo treble rom for vendor partition and restore system partition. what should I try?

Great job! I hope to see more miui roms like this one based on oreo and pie for santoni!

this rom is for Redmi 4X (santoni) and not for markw. please do not flash this on markw.

Extract it into internal storage and restore it from recovery.

Hi Brunorochaa00. I want to thank you for this rom. It's very stable and smooth. Looks like PE but with some tweaks. For me, with gravity box it's perfect!!
Just a bug: USB debugging turn of every time after reboot??
