I found some very nice pocket weather icons in the internet. Now my question to you. Is it possible to use them in the HTC Home plugin? Is there a possibility to convert them easily to the needed format?

Have you tried google? I actually typed "convert tga to png" and found millions of them on google.. most are paid software. If you dont want to pay for them, some give you free trial and I bet you can use it.... if you search more, i am sure you will find some free ones too..
maybe you could put up the pics here, and i am sure, some of u would help

Hello
to convert the icons from one format to another is one thing, the easiest. But the most important is, which icon name matches the correct one in the home plugin.
For exsample name pocket weather is 1.tga, does it match with HH_WEATHER_01.png at the home plug in? Not that the forecast says rain and it shows son because I used the wrong icon name.

Thats true, but it is good, if you want to learn binary code, this is best what you can do.

Nice idea, but one little suggestion.
Why not change the display order, like:
Hours
Minutes
Seconds
I think that would make it lot better.

All right I will make new release v1.1 in few minutes
nice if there was an option in the menu to display a standard digital clock on the screen simultaneously so those that do not understand binary can learn.

all on one line and nice and neat. I would love it just like that

No install, only copy .exe file to your Documents, but you must have installed .NET 2.0, i tried it on iPAQ 4240 and it works fine.

Sry, no chance to do it like a today plugin, there is no way to make today plugin in VB and I dont know C++. but i will make other improvements.

you must make a DLL file with defined interfaces, but i dont now which. Is there anybody who know how to make today plugin??
XIAMultiTheme is a multi purpose skinnable GUI so you can make your launcher or multiple "today"
Themes are very closer to rlToday but the engine is dll based so if you like to write a widget do it!

If you do not like the Unlocker popup when the light turn off remove the line with event="56"

Tips:
- Use the installer/Uninstaller exe to first step, than run configurator!
- if you like to use bitmap fonts remember to put 0.png into the folder
- if you like to use TTF fonts remember to call it like it's name ex: Cicago.ttf
- Warning: if you are using a task manager software take care when tapping on OK on today configuration applet because your task manager may not really send "OK" tap!
- to disable unlocker feature simply put an empty theme name
- do not develop theme with a lof of "convert" please use "folder:"
- scroll and DnD are very heavy features, enable if your pda is powerful
- do not forgot to pay me a coffe... it's a GPL opensource XIAProjects product!
How to test/Help me?
- this engine will load rlToday themes test my engine with them! report differences or try make newest with new features like page management!

This looks interesting, have looked before but couldn't work out which files/folders to put on ppc?
Could you please explain what to load on to ppc, once that is done I'm sure I can figure out how to use and/or make a theme.

Just simple put folder XIAMultiTheme in to ppc. and run XIAMultiThemeConfiguration for setting XIAMultiTheme.

Does anyone experienced incompatability issues with XIA MultiTheme and SPB Mobile Shell 2.1? XIA MultiTheme works great inside UltimateLauncher however as soon as I install Mobile Shell 2.1 my PPC freezes after bootup...
It may have nothing to do with XIA MultiTheme but just thought I'd try and rule out possibilities given that this application is at alpha or beta level.

One question: Does XIAMultiTheme support image resizing? I've tried setting Width and Height but instead of scaling the image it crops it to the height/width.

I've been using rlToday for more than a year now and really like this fully customizable today plugin. I was really excited when I saw that you've started to implement a similar application that also supports tab switching. I've been playing with it for a while and my first impression is: thumbs up!
Are you also planning to implement rlToday's feature to display a monthly calendar overview? (i.e. show a grid with all the days of the month)

I really hope everything went well today.
I am really looking forward to working with XMT, I have used rlToday for awhile now and enjoy the full control abilities that the app allows. That said I believe XMT will be a killer app. You are probably too far along in design to make this change but it would be good to shorten the program names so that they are legible in the file explorers. The XIAMultitheme..... really gets too long to see which program I am tapping.
Two of my rlToday themes use variations of the calendar as seen in the default rlToday xml which at this poing won't move to XMT and I would like to use some variation of this full month calendar. Is this a part of your current plans or should I plan on coding myself?
Again I hope the exams went well. Glad those days are way behind me.
Hi, first of all I'm a noob, so bear with me, second, thanks for all your great work.
Now, I'm struggling with the XIAMultitheme, I installed as the instruction said, and tried with the Manila and the MiniColor themes, but I always got the same result: a blank screen, only the original wallpaper. I think, that's because the only selected "item" in Settings -> Today -> Personal is XIAMultiTheme....so...where is it?
....what am I doing wrong?!?

One question though: Playing around, I messed with the directories and while I'm trying to uninstall XIAMultiTheme, I get the "Could not execute ...XMT_OnPowerOn.exe" Notification Error Popup. How do I remove it? I have already tried the XIAMultiThemeKiller.exe and XIAMultiThemeUninstall.exe but the popup insists to come up when I turn on the screen.
Any hints?

Hi, thank you to try XMT!
running XIAMultiThemeUninstall.exe will remove the power on notification, if this does not append manually remove using TaskMgr

You can convert MNG, GIF or WPA animated images to XMT supported multiframe vertical film PNG with ImageMagick:
convert -append -dispose 2 1.wpa prova.png

Unlock + Phone Call Themes
The unlocker by default will popup when the light turn off, if you do not like this, remove lines with event="56"
This is nothing special, but I was searching for it and couldnt find it, so I threw it together.
It is simply a wrapper for the Myspace Mobile site (m.myspace.com) and should render in all resolutions.
It makes use of the widget capabilities of Windows 6.5, and thus is ONLY FOR 6.5. This is not a ".cab" file it is a ".wgt" file.
Extract the ".wgt" and click to install it!
The only know bug is when installing some users may get the "There is no application associated with Myspace. Run the application first, then open this file from within the application" error depending on how the ".wgt" association is setup . To fix it, install Themuzz's solution which sets the association to open the Widget Installer.

this is pretty sweet. too bad I almost dont use MySpace anymore.
running on my tilt, I had an issue; fonts are TOO big; and there is an issue that it does not take up all of the available screen like the other widgets do. the scroll bars are useless in winmo6.5.
great thing though. works very quick and loads images quickly too. it would be nice to be able to save images in it (for contacts) but that is probably asking too much. lol.

How can i achieve this?.. i already found some forums on the internet wich indicate i have to hack the register and change some regs.. wich i dont prefer

There are cabs that makes the changes in registry for you.. If you don't want that then its not possible =)

I found a useful program: Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.5.4.cab
Simply copy the file to your SD card, run Windows Mobile Device Center, File management, and click on it to install it.

As stated above, use Co0kie's Home Tab. You can select 3x3, 4x4, 5x4 or 5x5 quicklinks on the home tab (amongst other stuff).
Incidentally, don't go for v1.54 - that's way old. There's v1.61 available now with much more options in it.
You'll probably want to look at the CHTEditor that helps you change the settings for it. You can get the link for that out of my signature. I've read that the author of that application is particularly handsome and smart, and all the ladies love him! lol
