call hangs up as soon as i push talk

This has happened on a few of my devices but its happening on athena as well.
i actually dont know why this is happening and i have tried a search but just too many non specific results
basicly i dial a number and hit talk then it just stops and hangs up ... no ring tone nothing.
This is most likely your mobile carriers problem and not related to the Athena.
I have frequent calls that do not complete, and this is due to (according to my contacts at the mobile company) one of two things.
1. The cell tower you are connected to is full.
2. The interconnection between carriers is limited and the connections are full.
The quickest way, I suppose, it just to refuse the call and make you dial again.
Very seldom do I hear a fast busy tone or any other error tone when the call fails.
hmm thats the same occurence here no tones
i just hear the beep beep beep when the pocket pc hangs up

Not receiving calls

My HTC Diamond 2 stops receiving calls randomly. Most probably this happens after it syncs with the PC. The device only turns its lights on without ringing. For whoever is calling me, it gives a very short ringtone then the call drops for the other side. I never receive the calls as the device rejects them this way.
Anyone has any ideas?

Call waiting in Leo

when i am on the phone with someone and another person is calling me i can anwer this call - unfortunately on htc I only hear nothing.
does manila/winmo/htc supports call waiting/conf calls and features like that?
I'm not sure what your issue is, but here are some details:
You can activate call waiting, if your operator supports it. here is how it works: you are on the phone with person A, person B is calling. While person B is calling, you'll hear short beeps (always in a row of two beeps) thus letting you know there is some 'activity' going on.
You can answer the second call and put the first on hold. In the meantime, person A will hear a sound similar to the 'beeeep-beeeeep-beeeeep' calling sound.
When you decide you want to make a conference, you simply click Menu -> Conference, and now you have both calls connected.
In case you have several calls on hold, you can select which calls you want to make the conference with.

How do you hang up a second call?

I know I must be missing something easy here.
When I am on a call and I get a second call I can answer the call. I can transfer between the two calls, but I can't hang up on one of the calls. The second call seems to stay connected, even if the other party hung up the line.
How can I hang up on one of the calls without disconnecting both calls?
Thanks!
Yeah, it sucks. That's CDMA for ya. I always worry about it using my minutes because it's usually a landline that I stop talking to & switch back to a cell call.
I just drag the notifications bar down and click the end call button to the right of the person's name.
