Any way to get APTX instead of APTX HD - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Hey, i there any way to get this APTX HD codec to just work as APTX? I got Marshall MID BT headphones with APTX support but obviously the G6 just supports APTX HD. Thats unfortunate because these HD headphones arent payable at all.
Thanks for your answers.

Aptx hd is backward compatible to aptx and aptx ll

Holy **** , you're right. That's awesome, I still got my former Jabra Move without APTX to test if I can hear a difference.
Thanks for this.

I can confirm that. I'm using H870 with Fiio BTR1 which has AptX, not HD and it's perfect synergy.

Hey, Im using H870 with Fiio BTR1 too. But I use "Sound About" app on play store,
which shows me using A2DP Codec for media.
Im using Fulmics 2.1 10T, which rom are you on? Im planning to back to stock and try

EDIT:
My Mac shows APTX while connecting to BTR1, May the problem on the ROM?

I'm on latest stock.

If you're rooted, use Viper4Audio mod. It works great with my Jensen deck streaming SiriusXM and Power Amp.

I can only find the Chinese Version of that in the play store. Of course is all in Chinese so I can't read it! Is There an English version of it?

There's post for the english version in the Note 3 Themes and Apps section. Or you can go into the Android Apps section. The OP for the V4a is Zhuhang.
Thanks.

Pretty much the regulars like Shuttle+ and Phonograph. I also just use the stock EQ since I don't have crazy good earplugs or headphones, so why bother? I'm also not an audiophile, so yeah. PowerAMP is the solution if you want full control of the audio though.
- PowerAMP/PlayerPRO = If you want full control.
- Shuttle/Phonograph = If you care about design
- Spotify/Google Play Music/Apple Music = If you stream your music
I am just using the htc music app.

Raw audio in video

Hi, is there any way to record raw audio (uncompressed) while shooting a video? I'm currently using op5 cam and I don't think it has this feature.. If there is any modifications which will allow me or any other app for this purpose, kindly let me know.
Thanks

I don't think I've heard any phone being able to record raw audio. Where have you seen this?

Haven't seen this anywhere. Thats why I'm asking, if anyone lowkey knew. Because its a pain to record raw audio in a voice recorder and then to sync it with the video in an editor
If you want more control, guess you gave to go to another phone. LG G6 and LG V30 have manual microphone control : gain, wind cut, etc. That's the closest I guess.

HD audio recorder quality

So I recorded some vocals using concert mode and sounded great on phone.
Changed to wav format
Used phone mics on stand
But when I transfered it to the computer, quality sucks!
Am I doing something wrong?

Try vlc or media player classic and see. If that doesn't work try a codec pack like ffmpeg or such.
