Looks like there is another software update from att (h910 variant). Looks like it's only 100mb so nothing big. If anyone on stock has the ability to check the arb version and if it's 0 could use lgup to dump the firmware and software that would be awesome!
100mb isn't enough to increment ARB. They would have to send every piece of firmware if they want to increment it

Still ARB 0

If you can tell me how to use my 10m dump from LGUP to go back to stock 10m, I could go back to stock, upgrade to 10r, then dump it. It seems to want a zip file. Or if you have a 10q file I could flash from LGUP somehow, again, I'd be more than willing to do that!

Im on full stock, how do you dump the firmware?
I've already dumped the 10r firmware just as an FYI so you all don't have to factory reset your phones! Thanks to everyone for helping out and letting me know what ARB version it was

Do you by chance have a flashable zip to upgrade from q to r?
I've got a H910 V20 coming tomorrow. Is 10Q & 10R Android 7.0, 7.1.1 or 7.1.2?
Also, does updating to 10R from 10Q lose root or TWRP?
@todd3835 The 10r flashable zip will be posted today. Just making a few tweaks to the kernel install.
@phr00t It is 7.0, and no, you don't lose TWRP, however, you do lose root until you flash Magisk again.

So, as of now, if I want the second screen to work, I need to stick with a stock ROM, and the newest stock ROM is 7.0? If I wanted 7.1+, I need to use a non-stock ROM, and accept the second screen to not work?
You are tweaking the kernel install... but I plan on using mk2000 kernel here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/development/h918-h910-us996-ucl-mk2000-kernel-t3708330 for KCAL. I presume I can just flash that kernel after your 10R zip?
You will be able to flash updates as he releases them, but for now 10r will have his latest kernel already in it.
If you want to run AOSP based ROMs you will need to use the 10m firmware, but even then they don't work so well. They were developed on 10c, and there is no dump of 10c.

Im talking about the size of the download. Usually these minor updates are 200 MB.
Btw, this doesn't even include April security patch.
Just received B25 OTA but when I ask it to install, phone reboots into TWRP and I can't install from TWRP. Later I get a notification that update failed. I tried FlashFire, it detects the B25 OTA but will not install gives message "Unencrypted ....".

To get the stock OTA to work , you need the stock recovery (TWRP won't work).
Not sure about Flashfire?

It is 7.1.1 and is the March 2017 security updates. It does add night light and is supposed to fix the DND issues. It also has a modem patch.

Can you prove this?
Problem that I have found was with the Fingerprint sensor. Before I could unlock my phone easy. Now I have to stick my tongue out, while standing on my head, one leg horizontal, and he the other leg vertical. Wiping cache helps a little but not a lot. I removed fingerprints and re-added them. Helps a little.

I don't understand the question. If you're on B25, there is no need. If you're on B19 and want the B25 update, you'll either need to be stock or wait for a flash package before updating, since you've modified some partitions.
The OTA files only work directly on fully stock phones.

Sorry if I weren't clear, currently I have Nougat 7.1.1 and my version is 0B19 and I want to install the 0B25 that was pushed OTA yesterday. I thought I was running B19 stock. I am Unlocked, TWRP and Rooted. If there is something that has been modified in my system then as you stated, I guess I have to wait for a B25 ZIP to flash.
Thank you for your help.

I'm on NPN25. 137-33. Flashed back to my stock backup for various reasons, am now getting a notification for whatever update is available.....a couple of things. How do I disable the update? And is there a stock rom of the latest build available for the US variant that's TWRP flashable? I don't see it. I was on the stock debloated rom which seemed fine but I couldn't get it to root with superuser or magisk.

.67 is for the Indian G5+, but works on the US variant (RETUS). .35-5 is the most current firmware and .43 is for Verizon users (fixes call/VoLTE issues) of RETUS but is a March security patch instead of May like .35-5. The .67 has a different kernel source and March security patch. I'd go with .35-5. It's available here. But none of these are flashable through TWRP. You can fastboot though...

I believe the one posted above linked via gdrive is flashable through TWRP and was created by @GtrCraft and is based off RETIN or RETUE. You loose TWRP, but fastboot it right back.
I was just trying to help answer your original question about the most up to date RETUS firmware. Moto has made it difficult to track with all the variants.

Thanks for all. What is the fasboot command to flash a zip?
My apologies if this isn't the right place to ask, but the discussion seems to be right in line with my issue. I'm running -35 (RETUS), rooted (SuperSU) and TWRP. I got the notification to update yesterday, and being partly distracted by screaming kids, I accepted.
It, of course, failed. But more importantly, now any power/boot cycle dumps me into TWRP every time. The only way back to the OS is to boot to bootloader and click "start". I honestly could care less about the security update (as I'm sure a TWRP friendly version is on the horizon). But having to go through the bootloader to simply power up/reboot the phone is a royal PITA.
Is there a quick fix to the hook that seems to redirect to the recovery? As bad as that is, I'd live with it if it means I don't have to wipe and start from scratch.

I'd start from scratch and make a backup of your current now, flash stock .35-5 that I linked above with RSDlite (update if on Verizon - your choice), fastboot TWRP again and restore. I accidentally did it with .35 and this was the process I did to get out of bootloop recovery hell. Hope that helps...
I posted the .43 update if you don't get the update and required it for Verizon.

You need to flash the firmware to update the device if you update it's with root then the device will hard brick, so you need to flash the whole firmware so you can upgrade the device.

You need to unmodified all things which you have installed, such as root, module's,etc. To flash the ota if there any modifications, then there are changes of brick. So suggest you to flash the firmware. And if you want data then use LMSA and make a backup and restore after upgrading it.
I think I am just going to do a custom rom instead.

Probably be a good idea to hold off updating on this, especially if you cross-flashed just to make sure it doesn't break anything for the ATT version.

So i went ahead and updated using upgrade in LGUP and so far so good.
I cross flashed AWM oreo with ULM oreo using the LGUP 1.14 from thread cross flashed AWM Oreo with Korean Oreo. Then I refurbished the AWN with the latest ULM Pie. So far no problem.

How did you flash this firmware? I am on V350N20c_00_KT_KR_OP_0405.kdz and LGUP refused to cross flash this firmware. It failed at 5%.
What error message are you getting? Are you using the correct version of the LG UP? May be do an incremental upgrade (install previous ULM version then the newest) instead of jumping directly from KR version. Also, your download could be corrupt, may be download again. Be careful though, there are a few mentions of ppl bricking their phones due to experimenting around.
Edit: In my case, it was my spare AT&T V35 on AT&T stock 8.0 and i directly flashed the new 20E ULM version using refurbish option.

You said Official rom so I am guessing you mean Stock No root. The H910 does not have a KDZ file to flash so you have to flash the twrp files. They are safe.
